Must See Artistic Wonders of Street Art with Activism Roots in Arr. 13 with Marie
I was lucky to have Marie to be my street art guide again, and I can honestly say that she is top-tier with her art historian background and her emphasis on highlighting women street artists that are often forgotten or unacknowledged. I've been to street art tours in London, Barcelona, Madrid, etc., and Marie made me wish to stay in Paris longer just to get to know the street art culture more. After 3 tours with Street Art Tour Paris, it was insightful to gain a more nuanced view of the neighborhoods and communities in Paris. No two tour is the same, so I highly recommend going to all of them! Marie very much centers the tour about not only the artists, but also the themes and deeper messages and activist movements associated with the art. From her, you can learn the skills to interpret street art in your everyday life.

Fall In Love with Street Art with Marie!
Belleville Street Art was my first tour in Paris, and it was absolutely fantasic despite the awful weather. Marie is so knowledgeable about the local community, history, and is incredibly passionate about graffiti and street art that you can't help but fall in love with the culture as well.

Amazing tour, make time for this.
This was the best street art tour I have ever been on - had a little bit of everything, covered French/Parisian history mixed with local street art lore. We saw pieces from so many different artists, learned about the intricacies of the local community, were shown what to look for throughout the city from prolific artists and got to see the artist work on a commissioned piece at the very end with a friend of theirs. Highlights were pieces by A2 (I think I have that name right), The End, Mr Byste and Invader. So much fun, cannot recommend enough. The guide took all the time we needed to show us what they wanted to show us. Please go without immediate plans afterwards so you don’t need to leave quickly and you can ask questions, interact and truly appreciate this experience for what it is.

Street art with a street artist is the best!
The guide was great! She is an artist herself so we learned a lot from her about being an activist and "behind the scenes" of this world. She was familiar with all the artists and their background and inspiration, that was very interesting.

MS BEJA is a very friendly, driven and well informed artist/guide. We were lucky enough to be invited to an exhibition after the tour. Thank you for the very pleasant afternoon!

    Street Art in Belleville.
The guide was knowledgeable about art and the artists, I enjoyed the backstories of the area, Paris, and the artists. The group was small, all English speaking. The guide English was good and he was patient encouraging use to ask questions and providing answers. I know Paris fairly well but this was a new area to explore for me. Good weather was helpful. The guide introduced us to the Flashinvaders game and mosaic art finder app from Taito. The art can be found in many cities in France and in other countries. Nice discovery to complement exploring a city art projects.

    A tour beyond expectations
Accompanied by a real Parisian street artist, we visited Belville with its colorful treasures displayed under the open sky. Our guide told us about the experiences of the artists behind each work, their emotions and their lives closely connected to the neighborhood. Passion, struggle and emotions, like our guide. We recommend it to those who want to look at Paris from a different point of view

Guide was fantastic - an Expert!
Thom was a fantastic guide, as an artist himself and someone who had written a book on street art in Paris, it felt like we were on a guided tour with a PhD in the subject! Very contemporary and great English too. Would recommend for anyone looking for a different aspect to Paris!

    A Paris must-do! 🐯
We were so glad we booked this tour and didn’t attempt a self guided tour! What Mr Byste and Ms Beja added in context and narrative was invaluable for understanding mediums, themes, artists, and the origin of Paris’s street art scene. Two others in our group were on the tour for the second time, so it’s not just us who think this tour is a must-do!

Amazing tour with Mr Byste. So knowledgeable and passionate about urban art. We explored areas we would never have ventured to. We learnt about the area too, its history and current context. Highly recommended tour

    Great!
Excellent tour of an area of Paris we wouldn’t have otherwise visited. The street art was plentiful and the guide, Mr Byste, was very knowledgeable. A refreshing change from the galleries in Paris! Really enjoyed it and really glad we did it.

This is our third tour with Kasia and once again she delivered a knowledgeable mix of street art and its historical context. Kasia takes the time to plan her tours so they are slightly off the beaten track. Montmartre is an area I usually avoid for its touristy crowds, but this tour took us on quiet winding streets that allow us to imagine a time when it truly was rife with creativity and progressive thought, the very reason street artists are so eager to leave their mark there.

Such a great and unique tour of Montmarte street art. Our guide provided great context about the art and politics of the area and how the two are related. Her passion for the art and history of the region came through and made it such an engaging and informative experience. Our whole family loved it & we highly recommend.

I loved this tour thanks to the tour guide Kasia. She knew her stuff so well and importantly really brought the group together and showed real interest in all of us. She would do all she could to answer our questions and she was very passionate. This was the last thing I did after a week in Paris and I was so glad that I did.

I spend a wonderful afternoon in Montmartre. Just a few streets away from the busy tourist area and in a completely different world. It was fascinating and uplifting to see the 'free' work of so many young and passionate artists, who actually have to say something about life, politics and eating meat (see picture of the squirrel).

Kassia is a great guide - an art historian and artist herself, she is knowledgable, enthusiastic and entertaining. Can highly recommend this tour.

It was an amazing tour in different ways: the knowledge of the guide of contemporary street art in Paris , the historical knowledge, the quantity of the works from the different artists we were able to see.
It s beautiful , especially at Montmartre.

The young guide was very enthusiastic and a perfect speaker.

Thank you.

Kasia is a real expert on street art - you can hardly find someone with more knowledge, passion and experience in this domaine. Her tour is a treat for anyone who wishes to discover the legendary Montmartre district from a different point of view. It's a trip that gives you a decent shot of history that makes contemporary manifestations much more easier to understand.

We booked the Street Art tour for a school trip with secondary school students. There was a mixture between French and Art students. They all loved it! Even the ones who don't study Art were really engaged with the street art and the artist. It was a great way to go up to the Sacré Coeur!
Merci énormément!

2 days ago me and my 17yr old daughter did another Street art tour (Belleville with Mr. Byste) and enjoyed it that much that we booked the Montmartre tour as well. This tour was also great, full of interesting facts (not only about street art, but also about the area) and beautiful art. Marie was a perfect guide with a lot of positive energy and expertise. Would definitely recommend booking a tour with this organisation!

Absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend. The artist was friendly and professional and extremely knowledgeable about the street art scene in Paris. Montmartre is a great neighborhood to see some of the most incredible street art in the world. I highly recommend wearing good walking shoes and being prepared to do a lot of walking up and down this hilly neighborhood. You won't regret it!
