      The Fragonard Store
The tour is through the modern factory. The older factory is up the hill. Making the perfume was great. The aim of the tour was to get us to the store.

      Musee Parfum - Free entry
Some of the parfum smells so much like the branded parfum. Over here it is a fraction of the price of the branded ones. The musee parfum entry is free and you can scan the QR code for self guided tour.

      Interesting insight into perfume making
Free entry to tour which was thoroughly enjoyable and interesting followed by a spot of discount shopping in their shop. Highly recommended!

Nice workshop, interesting tour, good value for money!
It was just a short tour, which started with a small workshop where the participants could make their own eau de toilette, based on three different base fragrances. Our tour guide Emma did a good and charming job in perfect English. After the workshop there was a tour through the little factory with nice explanations and at the end the option to buy some of the perfumes Fragonard is producing. good offers, interesting short tour, nice workshop, good value for money. Recommendable!

      Great workshop and tour!
Great overview of how perfumes are made! I have a better appreciation of fragrances and what to look for in perfumes. Many thanks for a great workshop and tour!

Interesting introduction to the world of French perfume making
After my self-guided tour of the Opéra Garnier, I went to the nearby free museum: Musée de Perfume de Fragonard, It was so interesting to learn about the scent combinations of different herbs and to see the demonstration of the Fragonard perfume production process. You can also purchase different scents of Fragonard perfume, eau de cologne and soaps in tbd shop on the first floor.

      Fun visit - interesting
This was an interesting tour. I learned a lot about the perfume making process, and the workshop portion was very interesting as well. Our guide was very involved, and spent a lot of time with each one of us, showing us how we could make our own personal blend what time? which was lots of fun. The opportunity to buy at the end was of course expected. There were lots of lovely products in their gift shop but folks who are taking the tour need to be aware that they will absolutely be offered the “opportunity” to buy at the end. It was not a high pressure sales thing at all.

A fun way to learn about perfume!
The factory tour in Grasse was very interesting and not too long (this is a fairly small place; not a large facility)You will see some stills used in the past for distilling fragrances and the modern way for fragrance development. The short class where you make your own small bottle of eau de toilette is based on what is Fragonard’s fragrance of the year, and you mix the 3 foundations to your preference. I booked the English speaking tour, and our guide was an enthusiastic young woman- it was me plus 20 or so German chemistry major high school students! One of the highlights of our Provence trip.

Very interesting and beautiful about the perfume world
Already been in a perfume museum and perfume making class long (very long) ago in Grasse (in one of their competitors ending “….ard”) only thing I remember was that my personal creation wasn’t good so ended up buying their creations. This museum near Opera is something that I would call a complement of getting to know French culture along with Parisian attractions. Liked a lot the second section of the exhibits; amazing bottles, flasks and all sort of unimaginable perfume related objects designed by glassmakers like Lalique, Baccarat with all kind of precious and non materials like wood, gold, silver, gems and artists like Salvador Dali; a joy to watch them! The merchandise of the customary tour-end shop are another delight, not cheap but in line with the costs of production because requires tons and tons of raw material to produce a particular scent. Couldn’t stop thinking about Patrick Süskind book but without the murders!

Fun class but long beautiful ride to get there.....
The class and tour was fun. My family members loved making their own perfume. The negative of this tour is getting to the factory. It's a hassle. There should be detailed information about how to get there. We had to figure it out on our own by walking around asking people. It's on top of a mountain, that could be reached by a bus that runs every 45 minutes or hour. We had to take a train AND a bus to get there !! It took us longer to get there than the perfume tour. However, it's a beautiful, breathtaking ride. Take the #83 or the #603 bus up the mountain.

Good place for those who like perfumes!
It's a crowded place full of visitors who come by here to see and buy perfume. Our tourgroup came by here around 4pm and the shop was busy. The store was bright and nice. After waiting a while, a staff accompanied our group and brought us on an introductory tour, where we had to walk down a flight of stairs to the basement, where we were shown how perfume was made and the history of the store over the years. It was eye-opening experience for us. However as mentioned, there were many visitors and tour groups and so during our walk-about, tour groups clashed with one another, and also a lot of noises and interference from the other groups and that made it difficult for us to listen clearly to our guide. After this tour, we were brought to a big hall with several counters, where the guide would give out several samples of different perfumes for us to "smell". This is the place as if like a departmental store, there were so many perfumes around or related products on display. At this point, the guide would "hard sell" the bottles of perfume, as a bundle or promo package. Unless you are a fan of perfume or one who like perfume, you will it interesting or it maybe a little boring or irritating if you are sensitive towards the various smells or fragrances. And you exit on the right with washrooms on the side and by then, the store was already closed and we were the last tourgroup to leave! Overall, an interesting experience.

      Interesting little museum
My partner and I visited on our recent trip to Paris! We did not take the perfume making class, we just did the free self-guided visit of the museum. It is free to enter, and it's a really nice little museum which explains some of the history and science of perfume making in general, as well as the specific history of the company itself. There is a lovely exhibition of different perfume bottles and accessories, some of which are really surprising! Overall, it is a nice way to spend a bit of time and learn some fun facts about perfume. The shop is on the way out after you have done the self-guided tour, and there is a wide range of perfumes, soaps, diffusers etc to buy. I bought a couple of perfumes! The products are high quality, but are also affordable!

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT A MUSEUM DEVOTED TO PERFUME WOULD BE SO INTERESTING?
This free museum is across the street from the Paris Opera. We did the self-guided tour. The museum is on the 2nd floor (1st floor in France) in a beautiful building. You do not have to have an interest in perfume (I am allergic to perfume) to appreciate the history & art of perfume bottles listed in chronological order from ancient times to the present. Leaving the tour one arrives to the ground floor with an amazing number of perfumes & soaps for sale. The store at the end of the tour is why the museum is free. I saw many people buying products there. Highly recommended.

      Delightful and informative!
The museum is small, free and very informative! So much information on the origins, purpose and process. Had to leave with presents for family, who adored the fragrances.

Had a wonderful tour here and a great tour guide who explained so much about the process of extracting and processing of essential oils from the plant to the product.

I really enjoyed this workshop it was fun and we booked it in Spanish, where the lady guiding the activity was super friendly and fun. We did not get her name but she is from Mexico. I do recommend it. I don't enjoy the sharing discounted box to buy your own perfume part as we were going to buy the same amount of perfumes anyway and you are giving it at that price. It probably is a way they have been doing it from a while back, but now it is not efficient and something I enjoy getting with strangers to buy my perfume just to get the discount. Maybe something for management to reevaluate at this point. We are doing the workshop, the discounted price was attractive, we might have even taken more if we didn't have to share a box with other people, it is just odd. Regardless we loveee the products and it is my second time doing it as the first time I did it with Friends in English and this time I took my mother, she loved it. Thank you.

This is great value if you like perfume. As many reviewers have noted, the perfume making workshop is definitely not very intensive; it's very limited time so you won't learn the intricacies of the perfume manufacturing process, nor will you get to make a scent of your own choosing. You will learn the basics, though, and you will get to try your hand at replicating an existing scent. (My husband nailed it so we ended up with a Fragonard Narcissus dupe, lol.) Afterwards, you get a tour of the museum led by a passionate guide, which I found really interested. The building is beautiful and there are great gift options to buy at the end. So don't attend if you're expecting a deep dive into anything, but personally I found the experience really fun and charming as well as good value for the money.

This was one of my favorite experiences! We made our own perfume, toured the museum and saw some really beautiful and interesting things. We had a group discount on any perfume we wanted to buy and we were able to pick our favorites. I would definitely do this again and I highly recommend it. If you love perfume and want something different than everyone else is wearing, this is for you. So many little surprising things about this experience that I loved.

Perfume making was basic but I did learn a little bit. You get to keep the small bottle, but others of our party just tossed it because they didn't love the scent. Cost is a bit high for this experience, when the tour part can be done for free. If you are considering booking the Mini perfume experience just so you can "have a reservation" my suggestion is to skip it, because you can walk up to the front desk and then go into the perfume museum for free with no advance reservation needed. They don't make that entirely clear on the website perhaps to drive folks into the Mini workshop tour. Yes our guide added some commentary in the museum portion, but we don't think it added enough to justify the cost. The Fragonard shop is another matter though - their perfume and related items prices are actually good. Prices are in range of what you might pay for a perfume or cologne at any usual shop, but with Fragonard you know it is exclusive and hard to find, so it is a good idea to buy one or more items here.

This was a lovely activity but not mind blowing.

I booked my teenage daughter in to the perfume making workshop and museum tour and I accompanied her.

It started with the perfume making class which was held in a stunning room and was very well run and organised. There were only 3 different fragrance vials each participant could draw from to make their perfume (everyone had the same 3 fragrances) so participants were fairly limited in the perfume they could make. I was pleasantly surprised that most of the participants were my age or my daughter’s age, as I was worried that the workshop may have just been for younger children.

This was followed by a guided tour of the museum, which whilst it was interesting was a bit too long.

The guide herself was lovely and very knowledgeable, however the workshop started a bit late and went longer than expected, and the tour also went longer than expected, so we couldn’t stay until the very end as we had another engagement and could only stay for the first 30 mins it ran overtime.

Unfortunately there were no chairs in either the workshop or tour which was a long time to stand with a bad back.

Wonderful experience in English. It explains how perfumes are prepared, the differences between the various essences and their sequence in appreciating the scents of a perfume. Beautiful lesson, with a practical test of creating your own small quantity of perfume (eau de toilette, to be precise) starting from real "ingredients" used by the house to create their perfume.
Afterwards, after about 45 minutes, guided tour of the small perfume museum and descent to the sales point with a "sniff" of various perfumes, obviously on sale promotion.
    Very interesting

Visited with my two daughters and my 10 year old granddaughter and we had a great time. The make your own perfume workshop is pretty basic but we had a lot of fun mixing the different notes and comparing our resulting fragrances with each other. The workshop was followed by a very interesting tour of the museum and history of perfume and then we were in the shop where we got to smell a bunch of Fragonard fragrances and purchase some if we desired. Of course we desired! The fragrance I chose to purchase smells so good and honestly lasts way longer than perfumes usually do on me!

This was one of my granddaughter's favorite activities in Paris. Well worth the time and price!

I booked this experience direct and the instructions about the location and start time was good. It was a little confusing to enter as the doors do not seem like doors! The receptionist was efficient and we waited for the class facilitator. We were escorted to a room beside the museum area and went through the various scents to identify the top/heart/base notes of a scent. it was an interactive class where we then created a small vial of perfum based upon the Fragonard scent of the year 'Narcisse' to personal taste. Once the activity was completed in putting together the perfume we were given a tour of the museum area and told the story of perfume making and of the origins of Fragonard. Once that was done we went to the shop area to sample various scents that they sell and provided with an opportunity to purchase Fragonard perfum individually or collectively within our class group.
This is a well run operation with everything clearly explained. A very enjoyable experience in clean pleasant surroundings. This activity is suitable for all ages apart from very young children who may not be disciplined enough to take part. I did purchase some perfume and remember enjoying this experience.

This was such a fun experience! The staff were all super nice. It was a lot of fun to learn about perfume while getting to smell the different notes. Blending your own signature scent was a really unique thing to do. My 12 year old loved it. The museum itself was very interesting - a lot of historic items and facts you wouldn't know about perfume. The museum is also convenient to the metro and shopping.

Beautiful experience in this beautiful perfumery in Paris. Stunning museum; The perfumery workshop is really fun, where you can create a perfume yourself and then take it home with you. The guide was excellent and the perfumes on sale were excellent, which I purchased at the end of the visit. Unforgettable experience, excellent judgment and I recommend it.
