    Great but wouldn’t repeat it
Thelma was terrific and the drivers were both very skilled. We enjoyed the site visits very much. In hindsight, we wish we’d booked either 1), a private tour that could have driven directly to and from Paris OR 2), added a day to our trip just for Normandy.

    Great day trip
The castles were beautiful and the guides Emma and Ratri were very informative. I wish the wine tasting was a little longer, but it was sufficient.

    Best Louvre tour ever!
Pierre Daveux did a wonderful job of telling the history of the works in the Louvre. He used humor and was very educated about the works. We enjoyed the tour very much.

    Fantastic Cemetery tour
Our tour guide Becky was fantastic from beginning to end. She was waiting for us at the meeting point as advertised on the booking. She knew how many people to expect, friendly and warm made us feel at ease from the start. The tour is something quite magical all the different graves, the stones are amazing I've never seen anything like it. The cemetery is massive and the tour although two hours long is only a snippet of the place. Becky is so knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. A must to visit if your thinking about going.

    Just OK
The tour is just fine. It’s just too much rushing from one site to another. And the stop at the cider place feels out of place and a bit contrived as it has nothing to do with D Day. And because some people were late for the departures, we just drove by Omaha beach. Overall I’d say it’s just too long a day (13+ hours) when doing this from Paris.

Amazing tour. Top marks to Omar!
We visited the Louvre museum and were guided by Omar, from City Wonders. This tour was the highlight of our short trip. Omar has an incredible wealth of knowledge about the artefacts of the museum which he shared with us in addition to fun and humour along the way. If we had gone alone we would never have known half of the detail behind the most famous pieces, in addition to hidden little easter eggs in some of them. A great day out and well worth the money.

    Professional, caring, knowledgeable, and fun!!
A most enjoyable day with our tour guides. They not only personable, knowledgeable and fun, but they took a sincere concern when my partner took a fall and injured his knee while out. They took all the appropriate and thoughtful actions to make the rest of the journey comfortable for him and even arranged a cab ride for us home from the drop off point. Could never have imagined a more wonderful and caring response. Thank you ladies and the staff. Best regards, Timothy W.

    Incredible Museum
The process to enter was very confusing to non Parisians! Getting out of line to get help accessing tickets then being told to go to the back of the line once you had the tickets was very frustrating! The museum was incredible! Need a week to go through it all!

    Mont Saint Michel
From pick-up to drop-off, the experience went very smoothly. Our guide, Kritika, was extremely informative and helpful. I loved how much free time we had to wander at our leisure once we reached Mont Saint Michel.

While the tour was well organised, we felt it was not really value for money. Once in Giverny, we were left for 3 hours to look at Monet’s garden and also had to download an app for the self-guided tour. We were told where cafes and museums could be found. So for AU$121, we effectively had transport and entry to the garden with some information on the way by our guide.

If you have extra time in Paris, there might be more economical ways to visit Monet’s garden. Also beware, there were hundreds and hundreds of people visiting so it was not the most peaceful of tours!

Hendricks was the tour guide for our visit to Giverny. I really appreciated his approach to chatting in small groups on the bus on the rides to and from Monet's House. It was a personalized and individualized touch to a large group tour (about 40+ people).

My friend and I enjoyed not having to worry about the logistics of getting to Giverny and the downtime to rest on a well A/C bus. The self-led audio guide was thorough and was about an hour of content over the house and gardens. We had enough time to visit Monet's House and Gardens at a leisurely pace while having time to visit the neighborhood.

Thank you Hendricks! We would recommend this to others looking to make a half-day trip out to Giverny to visit Monet's house and gardens.

Paris is a beautiful city and taking this tour I got to see the lovely countryside too. The home and gardens of Paul Monet it did not disappoint. It rained the day I went, a steady light pour just enough to get you went but not drenched. Yet, it made the experience romantic. Not in the boy meets girl romantic, the romance of walking through beautifully maintained flower gardens the air wet, clean and scented, droplets hitting the canvas ready lily ponds - it was nice. If you're a Monet fan and/or a flower lover you will love this. The visit inside the home was interesting but that kithchen - my goodness. The tour guide (Marie) was knowledgeable and clear in instructions about allowable time to visit and departure time. It was a excellent tour could have stayed there longer. To top it off when we go back to Paris Marie gave me excellent suggestion of where to go off the tourist path to eat and indulge myself with french pastries and that did not disappoint either. I had a good day but I think I said that already.

The gardens are spectacular, a beautiful walk and inspiring views. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had interesting info on the life of Monet while travelling to and from the exhibit.
The length of the tour is maybe a tad too short to cover everything, especially taking the queues into consideration.
Overall a lovely day trip.

This guided tour was amazing. I loved how easy it was to find the spot and how detailed the itinerary and what to expect from the tour was written. The gardens itself was amazing and so beautiful, definitely recommend going and experiencing this. My tour guide Hendrics was lovely, he was very bubbly and insightful when providing us with information about the site and Monet. The included bus trip made the experience stress-free and I am glad i chose to go on this tour. 100% Recommend.

A beautiful destination and well worth the visit. Lovely gardens and well managed souvenir experiences with affordable options.

The bus tour departs Paris and takes around one hour each way. I was on the afternoon tour. They share some information on the way but I fell asleep (was poorly) so missed the detail.

The experience involved a comfortable amount of walking and could accommodate all fitness levels.

The fee DID NOT include a ticket to the museum / gallery in the main street.

Monet's house and gardens are incredible. We were lucky to visit Paris right after the gardens opened post-winter and they are definitely worth a visit. However, this tour was very disappointing. Our tour guide, Lis, was very nice and informative but everything else about the tour was not accurate to the description. Our bus driver managed to hit two separate things en route to Giverny. Due to these two accidents that caused major delays and the ridiculous 25-minute mandatory bathroom break once we arrived just steps away from the entrance to Monet's home (where more bathrooms were available to those that needed it), we were left with only one hour (when we were told we'd have 3 hours) to explore the house, gardens and the Giverny village. Most people had to choose to either see the house OR the gardens and we all missed Giverny entirely. We were pretty upset that we paid extra money to have the logistics taken care, only to be left with no time to enjoy where we were. So while the destination is extraordinary, I would not sign up for another tour with City Wonders.

My advice to those considering this tour: Take the train and arrive early (or very late) to avoid some of the crowds.

Our guide Hendricks took the time to individually go through Monet’s life and art with each person or couple on the bus on the way to Giverny. He was interesting, informative and passionate about his subject.
Monet’s house and garden are spectacular. I was worried that high season would find it too crowded, and and it was crowded, but seeing the gardens when the water lily’s were out more than compensated for the inconvenience. I took so many photos that my phone twice told me the camera was too hot and I could not use it until it had cooled down. Each time I retreated to a shady area, waited for the phone to cool down and just bathed in the beauty of it all. If you have been to l’Orangerie why not go to Giverny and see it in real life?
Thoroughly recommended.

An excellent adventure with pickup at a designated spot in Paris. There were 3 of us, all women, and one had a walker for stability. We arrived early at a very large, clean, nice Greyhound-type bus, (no restroom ), where we immediately saw a lovely young woman holding a 'wonders' sign so easy to spot. After she confirmed we were on the list, she directed us to the bus, the driver loaded my sister's walker under the bus/storage and off we went on the 1+ hour ride to the French countryside. Our guide was James, a friendly, knowledgeable and lighthearted fellow-very pleasant and helpful. The whole tour process to Monet's garden was very organized and not rushed. We exited the bus and had 90 minutes to tour the home, garden, and the beautifully quaint village of Giverny where Monet's tomb is located. We spent a little too much time in the fantastic gift shop so we had lunch nearby without enough time to see the tomb. Our tour guide was very clear about the return time and that anyone not present would be faced with an Uber ride back to Paris. This did happen to some participants even after the bus delayed departure for a generous 15 minutes-shame on them! On the return trip, James gave us tips on sights to see in Paris, club and restaurant recommendations and made his way down the bus aisle to answer questions which was very helpful. We felt safe the entire time and the driver was excellent, no surprises! Overall, it was a fantastic excursion for us and worth the price.

Monet's gardens and cottage are beautiful and worth the trip. It felt a bit rushed especially because there were so many people visiting the grounds that it was hard to move around. The bus was nice but we only had about a 5 minute talk about Monet then had the option to download an app for the grounds. It would have been helpful to download this ahead of time because you need wifi (bus had spotty wifi) but then you also needed wifi to actually download the map--which we didn't have in Giverny. You're paying for the convenience of the bus transportation with this tour, not much else. We still felt it was worth it!
