Warmly recommended! I had an amazing time on this wine tour in the south of France! The vineyards were gorgeous, and each stop felt so personal and unique. The wines were incredible—especially the local rosé—and learning about the winemaking process was such a treat. The hosts were warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience unforgettable. If you’re in the area, this is a must-do!

We had the full day Vangogh tour with Remi! He picked us up on time in a nice comfortable Mercedes van. He was so pleasant and knowledgeable. We enjoyed his company and the tour! We had a wonderful day visiting Aix en Provence and Cassis with Remy. He is personable, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable about the history of the area, and was happy to answer all of our questions. He took us for a wine tasting at a beautiful winery, and he suggested an excellent place for lunch in Cassis. We are very glad we had the opportunity to do this tour.

Worst company ever. We had the All Day Rose tour booked and days before our planned holiday, Gentle Provence cancelled and all other tours are now fully booked. Avoid at all costs. They don't answer the phone and text with excuses when they should have at least helped find a solution.

My husband and I just spent a week in AIX en Provence and two of those days were with Remi. This was our second time touring with Remi who we found so knowledgeable on the history and wines of the region. Our first day was custom wine tasting day with a stop at the medieval village of Les Baux. The vineyards ranged from very small family operations to large exporters. Le Mas de la Dame was our favorite (Van Gogh did a painting of the house in 1889.) The second day we went to Gordes and Remi surprised us with a beautiful tour of the Luberon Valley. We could only imagine how beautiful it must be when the lavender is blooming. Besides being a delightful guide and excellent driver, Remi is a very interesting and entertaining companion. We can’t wait to return to spend more time learning about Provence, his home.

Remi of Gentle Provence is a fantastic tour guide. We spent two days with him, one a day in the Rhône Valley, including Chateauneuf du Pape and Avignon; the day also included two private wine tastings and the history of the area. The other day was a customized tour to Aix-en-Provence which included seeing the wonderful outdoor farmers and other goods market, a visit to a farm that produces cheese and is also a vineyard, and another vineyard where we had a wonderful lunch and wine tasting, the day progressed with a visit to a lavender field and the area that inspired painter Paul Cezanne. Remi created great memories for us. He’s very knowledgeable, we enjoyed learning the history of the areas we visited. He’s also professional, a great driver, excellent at keeping us open task on on schedule, and most of all a joy to spend time with. We love his sense of humor and he’s someone I’ll always remember. So grateful for his expertise and kindness. I suggest if TA review readers want to spend a day with him, that reserving several months in advance is wise. He was outstanding at answering my (probably too many) questions, he was very communicative every step of the way, and months in advance of our south France vacation. Thanks again to Remi for the great memories you provided to our family!

Experience was totally prepaid and we had a confirmation number. When we got off our ship, the driver was not on the dock. When we called him, he stated that he had been trying to "confrim" with us on a number I had never heard. I said why do we have to confirm something that is prepaid? He then stated he would come but only if I paid him again then he would "refund" the original payment. I said this is a scam and hung up. And now Viator is refusing a refund because he did not show up. Total scam.

Remy was the most wonderful guide and took us to some amazing wineries, art tour, and general tour of Provence. He is charismatic, personable, and very knowledgeable about wines and the region. I highly recommend using his services!
