My husband loves history and requested a private tour of Heidelberg (our new home) for his birthday. Henry was knowledgeable, kind, and happy to answer any questions. He took us to all the hot spots and helped me execute a memorable and customized gift. We ended at a local brewery for beer and lunch- overall tour exceeded my expectations.

My parents and I were on a quick trip to Frankfurt and wanted a day trip to Heidelberg. We have visited that city before but I wanted to dig a little deeper. To save time/energy, I decided to research for a local guide and found Henry. He was very accommodating and was able to communicate very efficiently thru WhatsApp. Being in a foreign environment, there’s always an element of chaos and stress, but Henry eased my mind even before meeting him by being super understanding. Tour itself was informative and exciting. We booked the 2 hour tour and were craving for more. You can tell he was passionate about the history and also respectful for our inquires about Heidelberg (even the most random things like the birds in the area) made great food recommendations. We had local German food at a place he recommended and it was fantastic! Overall, it felt like strolling with an old friend. (Oh! And he’s a great photographer!) Exploring a city with a guide was a first experience for my parents and Henry exceeded their expectations as well. I especially appreciated his demeanor towards my parents as English/German is not their first language. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, even if you have visited the city before. Henry is AWESOME!! We are a family of 7 and he was amazing to help us with all the logistics and directions to ride from Heidelberg to Ladenburg on a self-guided tour. He gave us all the instructions, pointed out important turns, and saved us a ton of trouble in finding our way to the sweet spot of Ladenburg! Use Henry's advice! Even if there's not room on the guided tour, or if the timing doesn't work for him or you to be in person, take the initiative and ask him to send you the details. We had a fantastic day!

This was a great and amazing trip. Henry picked us up on time at our hotel, and drove us to the Black Forest region. The tour was truly spectacular. Henry provided us with really good information as to the region, history of the places we visited, stopped for photo opportunities and took us to great places for hiking and food. Henry is a great guide, very knowledgeable and I will work with him again for future trips.
