Easy trip from Munich train station.
Easy to navigate, plenty of time to enjoy. Kevin made the experience seamless. We got to take the train. The scenery leading to the town is beautiful.

Great tour and guide to Neuschwanstein Castle
Oct 2021
Great trip to see the Neuschwanstein Castle. Definitely ask for Jeff to be your tour guide if he's available. He went the extra mile to make the trip that much more enjoyable.

Our tour was on a Sunday so we lucked out so we lucked out on the crowds and we were able to hit the express trains perfectly. Jeff filled us in on what to expect during the tour, the history of the castle location, the occupants and a brief history of events that lead up to current day. He made it a point to take care of his group and to ensure that we could maximize our time on site and that we were safe and comfortable during the tour.

A few pointers:
-There is a bit of a hike up to the castle so bring your walking shoes and dress for the occassion. Buses are available for those that cannot and should not hike.
- Bring some cash. Don't be the tourist without money. There are ATM's.
- Take it all in and Enjoy yourself!!!

Excellent trip
Oct 2021 • Family
The meeting point was difficult to find, strongly recommend they review the current online description. Otherwise it was a lovely trip, our guide Mat was perfect, knowledgeable, had good humor and didn’t over talk like those guides that keep on going the whole 9 hours ( our trip was that long). We all met infront of the travel agent then walked to the train station, stopped for a quick coffee. Took the 2 hour train ride where Mat did his spiel since we were not all ( 19 in the group) sitting together he stopped and chatted and informed each group about the destination and gave fun facts. When we arrived at Fussen, took a 10 minute private bus ride then did the hike uphill ( 45 minutes) to the castle where Mat was with us patiently stopped for others to catch up and also have us more information about the site. And also showed us great locations for taking photos of the castle. We had a different tour guide inside the castle which was also a good one. All in all it was a lovely trip, fantastic October weather, sunshine, no rain, awesome guide and money well spent.

Great experience!
Oct 2021 • Friends
Jeff was a great tour guide. I’ve traveled to 23 different countries and have experienced many different tours. This is the first tour that I’ve ever had any consideration on writing a review on. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable about the content of the tour. He learned the names of all 20 of us in our group what seemed to be instantly. He was very funny and kept everyone’s attention throughout the tour. As far as the castle itself, expect to do a lot of steep walking. It’s about a 40 min climb from where the bus drops you off to get to the castle at the top of the mountain. The climb is well worth it and the sights that you get along the way are great! Do not expect to take pictures once inside the castle. It is not allowed.

5* Tour Guide Jeff
Sep 2021 • Solo
Jeff, our guide was simply fantastic! He is an excellent ice breaker to bring a group of strangers on a tour. He is also a great story teller who brought to life the history of the place we were visiting. Made sure there was light hearted humour throughout the tour. Overall, well-paced tour of the beautiful castle and surroundings! Highly recommend Radius Tours for their other day trips too
