The tour was great Haina and Smiley were great on particular Haina who was very helpful. The only problem is that the tour ad does not give you approximate times of arrival to the castles being Linderhof and Neuschwanstein, I had previously purchased admission tickets to both castles and it was quiet an adventure to change times but thankfully it was resolve and all good at the end. It would help if the operator gives estimate times of arrival to the castles that way if you buy tickets in advance you don’t go through the same problem I did or buy the tickets on the bus.

Ursula and her team were excellent from the initial start of the day! Ursula was an excellent source of German and Bavarian history and took her time to explain in detail thoroughly and passionately.

Super well organised the tour guides are super knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely a must do if you’re in Munich, I loved it.

This Neuschwanstein & Linderhof Castle Day Tour is simply amazing! Thanks to our friendly tour guide Ms Monica who enriched our minds with detailed explanation of the history behind these Castles before we entered them to explore and witness the beautiful Architectural Works. The scenic views of the country side along the way in this winter season are just so Instagramable. Highly recommended day tour!

The premium tour to Neuschwannstein was better than we had hoped! We did this with our adult children and 6 year old grandson. Our tour guide, Deyse, was great! She gave us SO much information, prepared us well for our independent time and made this tour much better than if we had done it all on our own. The driver did a great job making sure we always had refreshments and, of course, got us to and from Neuschwannstein safely. We have done many tours and this was one of the nicest, most comfortable tour busses we have been on and having the refreshment bar was an added perk!

We were at the tour on 12/06. Though a rainy and cold day, we enjoyed the tour very much. Monika was very knowledgeable and friendly. She went above and beyond answering my inquisitive adult children about history and d more. Really very impressed with Monika’s knowledge and wonderful professionalism.

This was a great day trip from Munich. The buses are clean and comfortable. We had an awesome tour guide and driver - Hannah - she provided stories about King Ludwig 2 and was super clear in her English instructions.

What a wonderful experience! Being able to have Viator provide a private coach transfer and to buy our tour tickets on the bus was such a stress reliever. We were so happy with both castle tours, and especially loved the Neuschwanstien Castle. As a bonus, Christine, our tour guide, gave a great history lesson explaining what we were about to see. We always use Viator to plan our excursions and are never disappointed. Be sure to read the fine print of your reservation - some people didn’t realize the tour tix were not included and did not have the Euros to buy them. You must have Euros for these, as other currencies and cards are not accepted! Be sure to bring food snacks, as the bus rides are 1 - 2 hours and they only have drinks available for purchase.

We had a fantastic time on our tour with Elisabeth. It was such a fun day learning the history of castles and the local history as well. Would highly recommend the tour. Elisabeth was a fantastic guide. Extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating. The drive alone out there was so peaceful and scenic. Even being extremely jet lagged we had a blast!

Our tour started with a relaxing bus ride from central Munich to Salzburg, with informative commentary along the way. Upon arrival in Salzburg, our guide took us on a guided walk around town, pointing out key sights. We were then given free time to explore to our heart's content. Our day ended with another relaxing bus ride back to Munich. Out tour guide (Melanie) and driver (Robert) were professional, helpful and accommodating; nothing was too much trouble for them.
