Oz was amazing! The tour was very informative and we saw so much but more importantly learned so much… about EVERYTHING! First class, I wish there was an Oz in every country!!

We highly recommend Oz tour. He’s full of knowledge and enthusiasm! We enjoyed every minute of the tour even though we were frozen half way through the tour.

Our only regret was that we didn’t contact Oz for a tour the minute the plane landed! He is articulate, warm and energetic and left us with a much better understanding of the history and culture of Bavaria. Most importantly, we laughed the whole way through the tour. (What’s the point of a somber tour guide when you’re on vaca?) We sampled food and drink and genuinely had a blast trotting all around the historic Munich. (Warning: his legs are long 😂)

He is an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and tons of fun!!! You won't be sorry if you take one of his tours. He is a true Bavarian, lederhosen and all.

I did this tour 2 years ago with a friend and I enjoyed it so much that I did it again with another friend. Highly recommended.

We used to do the DIY thing when travelling, however we got switched onto the idea of doing walking tours with locals after a positive experience in Canada. While organising a group trip, one of our travelling companions sent me a link to Ozzie’s tour. I knew he was unique in his level of service as within an hour of the booking enquiry he rang me to chat (we live in Australia). Even though no money had changed hands at this point, we had a wealth of info on Munich and what sights we could do on our own. I won’t spoil the content of the tour, but Ozzie’s knowledge about Munich and Bavarian history is second to none and it’s an impressive insight into today’s political climate. It’s not all history and politics however, as we had the opportunity to sample some amazing local beer and food that only someone known around Munich could provide. A private four hour tour, turned into a late night hang out at a beer hall we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. You must do this tour when in Munich. If you are a traveller and wish to get a broader and deeper understanding of Bavarian people and their culture then do this tour. Ozzie gives you much more than just pointing out locations and artefacts. You’re likely to be introduced to locals and will certainly grasp what it means to be Bavarian.

Having only two short days to visit Munich, we decided to tour one of those days with Oz. Best decision we could have made! Oz is the best tour guide I have ever experienced, no question. He was so informative, fun, knowledgeable and overall spectacular guy. I have told so many people about the walking tour with Oz, and how incredible it was. Highly recommend! He won't disappoint.

Oz gave an amazing tour. His history was just at the right level so you feel you understand the region. The beer and the food enhance your experience. Best day I have had in a long time and hands down best tour I have ever been on.

Oz gave us an understanding of Bavarian and German history while we were doing a walking tour of Munich. He educated us about the culture, food, beverage and landmarks of Munich. Hearing about the culture of Bavaria helped us to understand the history. My daughter and I were the only folks on the tour. We learned, ate, drank, talked and laughed as we walked. Oz made the tour fun! He is so very likeable while also being an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. His tour was great, if only more were like it! A great person an essential when in town. His knowledge of the area is not to be compared, and always smiling, he catered the tour to suit us, dealt with us in a manner that was neither boring nor informal.
