Worthwhile to see Berlin from the water
Aug 2020
Good boat trip covering the main sights. Slightly frustrating that the commentary is only live in German so need to listen to prerecorded. The tour is quite pricey but if you have a good day weatherwise its a nice way to see Berlin

Pick a sunny day and go

Great experience. Worth it to see the city from a new angle. Fun fact: if you choose to use the small handheld audio translator, be aware that occasional German sound bytes won’t be translated at all and you’ll just hear silence. I thought my device was broken but it wasn’t. Highly recommend this experience.

Very Informative
Sep 2020
We were lucky to have good weather. Very informative, people can disembark halfway around the tour and board a subsequent boat if they wish.

Enjoyable and relaxing
Aug 2020
The boat trip goes from the Berliner Dom to the Reichstag. Everything is socially distanced and feels safe. There is free German commentary or the option for headsets with the tour on other languages (I speak German so didn’t use it but I think they were only €2)

Relaxing
Mar 2020
This is a relaxing way to see Berlin from the river Spree. You won't see all the main sights but we didn't mind this as we were doing the walking tour the following day. You do get to see things that aren't on the usual tourist trail. They had a small bar serving beer and wine and it was nice to sit back and relax with a drink and enjoy the view. We were inside as it was March and it was cold outside. The overhead commentary on the boat was in German but they do have handheld audio sets in other languages, that you hold to your ear. I would recommend bringing your own earphones or buds with you as the overhead commentary on the boat makes it difficult to hear the translation on the audio sets. I saw this on a previous review so we brought our own earphones that plugged into the audio sets and we heard everything perfectly.

River Cruise
May 2019
The Spree flows through the Saxony, Brandenburg and Berlin states of Germany, and was the river on which the original city was built. Cruising across its waters is the perfect way to see the major sights of Berlin all within a few hours. Or if, like me, you’ve already visited them on foot and wish to experience an all-in-one summary. The sights I cruised by included the Reichstag Building, Berliner Dom and Museum Island. And I spotted a unique waterside bar lined with deckchairs that I went back and visited, called Capital Beach!

Relaxing Boat Trip
Mar 2020
Relaxing way to spend an hour and gives a different perspective of central Berlin.

The audio guide highlighted the main buildings and gave some additional information.

Thoroughly enjoyable!

So much history and so much variety of architecture
Feb 2020 • Family
A great trip along the river. Went with my 11 year old daughter who found it very interesting too. Such a variety of architecture and so much history. Lunch isn’t provided so we took our own but then learned that there was a bar onboard where you could order drinks and food. My little girl loved her hot chocolate. The boat was clean and the loos were too! The staff were lovely too. Well worth it.

Nice tour, interesting details, helps organizing a city-tour and getting a feeling of the distance between the several monuments.
