An excellent day, led by our supremely knowledgable, very personable and enthusiastic leader, Mike Stack. (Who even took the time to chat about my Uncle’s Bomber Command service) The chilly, wet weather added to the atmosphere of this chilling place. A must do visit, appreciating the history. A++++ all the way.

We went to Sachsenhausen with Gabi who was absolutely amazing. She was so knowledgeable about the camp, the history surrounding the war and Germany’s political history and was very friendly, inclusive and helpful. The tour itself was the perfect length of time - 10am - 2pm and the coach drive out was very comfortable. Highly highly recommend.

Our guide, Walid, was one of the best tour guides I've ever had on a group tour. He provided so much history and background that I didn't know. He invoked his personal opinions, gently and diplomatically. I was only sorry the tour with him was only 4 hours. As for Sachsenhausen - as with so many of the German memorial sites, there is more information than one can possibly take in. It has been preserved just enough to be illustrative and impactful.

An excellent tour. Maria's commentary was candid and knowledgeable and she handled the sensitive subject matter extremely well. Transport was also excellent - really appreciated the comfort of a small bus.

Throughly recommend this tour. John was our guided and took us in a small but comfortable people carrier with a driver from the Zoo pick up point to Sachsenhausen. On the way he gave us the history of German from the end of WW1 to the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. At the camp itself he walked us through the internment process and the dreadful treatment and ultimate elimination of prisoners by firing squad or the gas chamber. We were originally of two minds whether to take this tour but glad we did. “Lest we Forget”

We took a trip to this site with tour guide Pip. She was extremely knowledgeable about the politics and facts surrounding the time and place and was able to provide insights and answer questions. She addressed this somber and difficult topic with a high level of emotional intelligence. She also took care to make sure everyone's needs were accommodated throughout the day. Highly recommend.

I expected to be moved just simply because of the nature of the tour, but our guide Julian left me speechless with the detailed information and insight. One of the most knowledge filled tours I’ve taken. Would recommend bus trip over train trip.
