The day of our tour there was a blizzard in the Hamburg area. Despite that, our guide Eugene took us to Lübeck where we had a lovely visit to the Christmas Market. He was also extremely knowledgeable of the history of the area. First class tour!

the tour guide is very knowledgable and very kind. He brings us to several off beaten road. very friendly guy. I am so sorry that he get scolded by the hotel staff because we borrow the bathrooms. very recommended tour service.

Heiko showed up in his big Landrover and took us for an short insight tour of Hamburg before we headed out to Bremen and Luneberg. We would never have seen so much or enjoyed local culture and cuisine in the short day that we had if not for Heiko ! One day we will be back for a longer visit and will be looking for Heiko again.

Did the 6 hrs tour around the surrounding areas of Hamburg. Went to many interesting villages and towns with the town of Stade being the one that sticks in our memory. Lunch in an old windmill was definitely an experience. Heiko was a superb guide an driver and really enjoys his work. He is not cheap but he is definitely quality and value.

This is a MUST DO tour. Heiko being a native Hamburger was able to offer an exceptional experience of the city. He knows all the ins and outs and combines delightful surprises throughout the tour. Heiko was fabulous and was a great tour guide. He showed us all the sights of Hamburg city plus many things that are not included on the regular city tours. He was very pleasant and friendly and went out of his way to see that we saw the city of Hamburg and enjoyed our visit in Hamburg. He was so good that we made arrangement with him for the next day to be driven to York and Steinkirchen and see the sights of those towns.. Again, he was an excellent tour guide. I recommend him for anyone requesting a private tour of Hamburg.

Our tour guide was Heiko. He's a local and a tour guide for Big Black Car Tours Our tour was of all the nooks in Hamburg and the small town of Luneburg which is 45 minutes outside of Hamburg. Heiko met us at the cruise terminal in a black Lincoln Navigator, the only one in Hamburg. He took us past the Red light district, the St. Pauli district, the original town center, St. Michael's and a few other churches. One church that was bombed in WWII has been left as a tribute to those lost in war. We also stopped at a city park where Heiko treated us to sparkling wine and cheese. Next he took us to a little hole in the wall for an authentic German lunch (Imbiss) It was a spicy sausage in a homemade tomato sauce and potato salad. My first time eating this and it was very good. After lunch we went to the small village of Luneburg via the autobahn. We walked around the village and saw a very picturesque village. There is a small stream running through town, a foot bridge with 'love locks'. It was well worth the time it took to get there. We did not go to Lubeck so we could spend more time in Hamburg and Luneburg. At our request we were dropped off at Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg. This is a whole warehouse full of miniature railroads, scenes, and so much more. Worth every penny for the tour. It took us about an hour to walk back to the ship along the waterfront.

My husband and I only had six hours in Hamburg, and we are so glad we were able to take this tour! We met Heiko across the street from the train station, stored our luggage in the SUV, had a lovely, stress-free tour, and were dropped off at the train station. He was very friendly and personable, and he showed us many sites. He had snacks and drinks for us, and he gave us a lock to leave on the "love lock bridge." We had a great time, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see beautiful Hamburg!

Perfect way to visit Hamburg. My driver Sven was extremely help and knowledgeable. The quality of the car was great and I was able to bring my dog along. Snacks and champagne were offered :-) Would definitely recommend this tour.

Everyone visiting the area should experience a tour with Heiko in his Lincoln Navigator. A drink and snacks at your side as you take in Hamburg and surrounds in absolute comfort. We had the best day with Heiko - he loves Hamburg and is very proud to show off this lovely city. The free time in Lubeck was also enjoyable, plus other special touches that we have not found in any other tour. Couldn't be happier with the day, thanks Heiko.

We enjoyed our private tour with Heiko in grand style and luxury. He picked us up at the cruise port in a Lincoln Navigator in front of our ship on time and off we go on a great adventure and tour of the key areas of Hamburg with many pleasant surprises along the way not to miss. This definitely beats doing a bus excursion with the masses at a great value. 4 hours was just the right amount of time for us. We would highly recommend this tour and you need to pre book in order to get your desired date and time as they book out weeks or even months in advance especially in summertime with cruises coming in regularly.

We spent the day with Heiko, touring several cities in the countryside and then Hamburg, itself. After a very disappointing walking tour and then a bummer bus tour, Heiko was sooo welcome.
