Nothing much exciting to see in Frankfurt!

Took the 1-hour Express Tour from the forecourt of the Hauptbahnhof at 15 mins past the hour, for 13 euros. The bus itself was ok, although only six of us on it; commentary in several different languages, but most of the "commentary" was music as, unfortunately, Frankfurt is a modern city with very little in the way of impressive buildings - mainly bland glass skyscrapers, so very little to talk about. We used the tour to get our bearings, as a means of "killing" the 10-hours between our train arriving and our flight home departing, and partly to try to keep cool in the heat and humidity..

I always take this for 1 day and ride it around to figure out what I want to see

When I go to a new city, I always take a 1 day and ride around to figure out what I want to see and where they are. On the same day I go back to the ones I am interested in that are farthest away from where I am staying. I then go to the others over the next day or 2. This trip was average for hop on hop offs.

Blue bus!

Hop-on Hop-off buses are a must for me when I only have a day. Hubby and me took this as we had a 15 hour transit in Frankfurt and this was perfect for us to get familiar with the key sights in the first round. We earmarked areas to get off - shopping area (Zeil), the churches and river bank for a short break.

Great Tour to Pass an Afternoon in Frankfurt
Had hesitations with this at first after reading bad reviews for the hop on hop off bus in Frankfurt. Either way we were greeted by a friendly driver who exchanged our vouchers for tickets and off we went. The tour was nice and took in all the main attractions. This tour will not blow you away as it is not like other major cities you may have used a similar service. In saying that, it accomplishes what it sets out to do and that is to provide an informative and fun experience of Frankfurt. Recommend it to anyone who has some spare time in Frankfurt.

1 Day Visit to Frankfurt

We spent one day in Frankfurt. It wasn't the tour that was "average" but what to see. Frankfurt doesn't have a lot to see in comparison to other cities in Germany. It was worth a 1 day hop on/hop off to see the sites of Frankfurt. I wouldn't recommend a longer stay. One thing about the tour...one bus trip we just listened to the headphone but another bus trip actually had someone talking about the sites. We preferred a more personalized guide. I wonder why this didn't happen on each bus all the time?

Nice way to spend a few hours in the cold

It was cold when we arrived in Frankfurt, so the bus was a welcome option to spend the few hours becoming acquainted with the city. They bus only accepted cash, but the bus driver was so kind to stop at an ATM. It was basically a bus ride around the city with headphones describing what we were passing. Not great, but not bad. A good activity if you have a little time to spend. My husband would give it about 2 to 2.5 stars.

Great wat to see things

We enjoyed the hop on hop off bus as you see the important highlights of the city with commentary. We decided to do a full loop first and the the next circuit we knew where we would like to hop off. We found a freshfood market with very friendly workers. The apricots were full of flavour.

The audio is not informative

The audio portion of the tour lacks any substance. Lots of music played and sometimes goes off on a tangent about a building while passing other sites. It missed some main attractions. ???

Too short the route area., but we enjoy this trip with my family and friends.
The tour guide news to extend more in the area of the Frankfurt so that people can explore more places and need to learn more culture in the city .
