If you're there for one day only, the Frankfurt card is extremely beneficial as it includes Airport transportation, unlimited rides of Frankfurt city public transit and discounts on some attractions upto 50%. check their website site.

We were 5 min late for the tour today. We were trying to call number from the ticket to let let them know, but line was too busy. We came to Tourist office were grumpy lady with orange hair was scolding us for being so late. She went to ''help'' us to find the group but only took us behind the building and said she can't do anything to help us. She told us that guide apparently is not allowed to have a phone with him during the tour. Waste of money.

Compared with many other tourist information centers I've been, this one is definitely not customer-friendly. The staff is polite and helpful, yet the absence of wi-fi, toilets and a very restricted assortment of goods should not be a case in the center of such a city as Frankfurt.

The Frankfurt Card is good if you buy it at the airport and start using it from the airport. I bought it at Tripadvisor and had to take the ticket at the train station. It meant that I had to pay an extra of €4.95 from the airport to the Hbf train station. Afterwards I realized that I could have bought it in other site that allow to print the ticket at home. There are some misconceptions about the travel time this covers. Copying/pasting from the Frankfurt website, "No, Frankfurt Card is not valid for 24 hours or 48 hours. The one-day Frankfurt Card is valid until the end of operating hours on the day of date inscription, while the two-day version is valid on the day of date inscription and until the end of operations on the following day. Operation hours ends at 5 a.m. Example: The 1-day card is valid for the 01.01 and 02.01 until 5 am. The 2-day card is valid on 01.01. and 02.01. and 03.01. until 5 am." I wont terribly knock this, as it is a very good deal for those wishing to hop on and off for a full day or two. The following is a minor criticism, that it is a little bit of a bummer that these are not in fact 24 hours. Having personal matters to handle in the city that requires me to be there for only a couple hours on one day and only few hours on the following. Considering it is for me and my daughter, it is a shame that I have to fork over for two consecutive days, when our total time in Frankfurt comes to less than 24 hours. It's not that we cannot afford it, it's simply based on principle.

Good ticket to take when having 5people, otherwise, I think it's not worth it. The discounts for the museums and other stuff is great. easy to pick up, nice stuff, explained all the things about the card.

Start your trip around the Römer and the new ancient quarter from here. You will get a good impression. Enjoy it!

A small office at the corner of the Romer, in the building that faces the tramline. Somehow I find that the entrance to the information centre inconspicuous, drowned by the beautiful view surrounding it. The information centre provides information and brochures/maps for tourists and sells tours, Frankfurt Cards and souvenirs. The souvenir stock isn't large but if you are in a hurry, you can pick up few fridge magnets or beer mugs here. The staff manning the counter are not the chirpiest people around but would help you with info if asked.

We bought it for 1 one and used it to see the entire city. It was good for 24hrs so it worked great for our schedule.

You can buy this online before you go. Just print the ticket and you're good to go when you arrive. The two day card for 15.5 euros gives you 2 return journeys from the airport (usually 4.90 each), unlimited journeys by bus, tram, U Bahn and S Bahn and decent reductions on many museum entry fees. Note that the validity of the ticket is until 5am each way - and all the trains run all night. Great transport system, Frankfurt

Stopped by this location to obtain local information and tickets. We were able to purchase a museum pass for two days. Since only a few museums are open on Monday, and we brought the ticket on Sunday, we were able to use it in Tuesday as well. So, we got three days of Museums. Very helpful staff.

Purchased 2 day train pass on advice to travel to Mainz to get the “many” hop on hop off KD line cruises on the Rhine. After travelling to Mainz and walking to the pier found out only depart 8.30 and 9.30 and around 4 and 5. We arrived 10.00. Very disappointed as changed our plans based on advice from this tourist office and wasted a morning. Later backtracked and went to Rudesheim where we had a very enjoyable afternoon. Won’t trust advice in future unless I independently verify it first.

They gave us great information on city walks. But we're not informed about local bike rental companies. Very little information about the city.

Visited on Friday 13th October. Called in to get a map and asked what there was to see close by. They told me about some must see locations and where they were, very helpful.
