    What to Expect
Visit: El Caminito del Rey, Ma-5403, 29550 El Chorro Spain

An exceptional natural environment that has been a mute witness of the history of industrialization in Málaga in the XIX-XX centuries, where you will be able to learn, apart from fauna interesting facts, the local flora and geology, curious facts about railroad pioneers and the electricity production.
The entrance is through the northern access and starts next to the parking Zone 4, through a long and narrow tunnel carved in the mountain which leads to a forest track that ends up in the Checkpoint at the entrance of Caminito del Rey.
The pathway has a total length of between 6 and 7 km depending on the chosen access. It is a linear pathway, so the return from the exit, located in the southern access, must be traversed by bus. There is also the option of parking in the southern access and taking the bus to the entrance.
It´s forbidden to come with children younger than eight and to come with shoes no appropiate to have a walk, specially flip-flops and helled shoes.
We recommend that you read before the rules of use published in the additional information.

Firstly, this is a brilliant experience. You must book to avoid disappointment. It is a one way jouney so we would recommend parking at the end, getting the bus around to the start (as when you finish you will be knackered!) If you are very...More

The Caminito Del Rey was once the most dangerous hike in the world. However, a complete renovation and construction of a walkway along the canyon a few tears ago made this hike a much less dangerous hike. Suitable for most people in fairly good shape...More

Great way to get out of the city and back to nature. Guide was excellent explaining in good english the history of the area (we also stopped in a white village on the way there) and brought snacks along for the 3 hour hike. If...More

Hello. I agree with the other comments. There are a few steps, but it is doable. Just take your time; there are a few places where you can sit and enjoy the stunning scenery. Just be sure to take water and a small snack... More

I have the same question, does anyone know how it works? Tickets via tripadvisor are legitimate? What time of entry?
