About
This is the ideal tour for first-time visitors and for those with limited time to explore Malaga. You will visit the main attractions and learn about the history of this ancient city. And of course, there's no better way to delve into a new culture than by tasting the local cuisine - world-famous tapas, traditionally served with beer or wine.
Meet your guide at the exit of Cruise Ship Port of Malaga or in the lobby of your centrally located hotel in Malaga.
The tour route will depend on where you meet with the guide.
You will wander around the central area of Malaga and pass by the historical monuments including the Cathedral, Gibralfaro Castle Roman Amphitheatre, Alcazaba, the Picasso Museum, and his place of Birth and many other main sights.
During the tour, you will have time to enjoy traditional Spanish tapas and some Spanish wine in the city center.
At the end of the tour you and your guide will return to the place where the tour starts or to another place that you need.

The City of Arts and Sciences is breathtaking, and we learned so much about its architecture and purpose. Highly recommended if you want to discover a different side of Valencia.Written 2 March 2025

- julian19470 contributionsBrilliant ExperienceEight of us went along the canyon in 1992 before the new walk ways where built.you started at the local railway station walked through the railway tunnel (hoped no train came) and you were in the canyon only one bridge fit to cross then you walked the rotting walk ways roped together for safety , to get back near the end of the canyon onto the railway you had to jump across the broken bridge about 4ft gap. Also did you know they filmed part of Von Ryans Express here with Frank Sinatra, where he chases the train near the end.Written 13 October 2024

- shepden0 contributionsSpectacular! We did this tour with Pedro/Pablo from La Garganta Activa (he said we’d forget his name!). A great guide, very welcoming, informative & entertaining. He ensured that my 83 year old father in law made it around the 8km hike with no drama. A spectacular hike, worth every cent, fully recommended.Written 5 February 2024

- soniamF5494YJ0 contributionsWell worth visiting - we had a great experienceExcellent trip to Camino Del Rey with friends. Great experience walking the pathways on this guided walk, which took about two and a half hours. It was a worthwhile, interesting, and exhilarating day, walking pathways around the sides of mouthtains, enjoying views down into valleys, and crossing a foot bridge across a high canyon. We enjoyed looking at nature. We saw interesting plants and wildlife and were told stories about the area by our guide. I would highly recommend this worthwhile visit. We drove from Nerja in our hire car, which took an hour and 20 minutes. Make sure you bring water and wear sturdy trainers.Written 29 July 2023
- BernardBury0 contributionsWonderful experienceWe booked the excursion from Toromolinos that had several pick up points and our pick up point was just outside our accommodation. The walk through the gorge is absolutely amazing. We were a little concerned about the severity and safety, but to no avail as the walk was at most light to moderate and very safe for sensible people. At the end of the walk there were a number of shack style shops selling pies, sandwiches, wine and beer at very reasonable prices.Written 7 April 2023

- GPhillipsMBE0 contributionsGood to visitGood temple to visit but you have to pay extras for the museum etc You must get a ticket to hear the choir boys but this was most disappointing as they only sang for 15 minutes!Written 3 October 2022
- Hannroge0 contributionsWine, walking and dad jokes - FIVE STARSThis was the highlight of our trip. Despite it being an unexpected heat wave Lucas knowledge of the island his amazing recounts of gran Canarian history and his awful jokes were a winning combination. Such a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend.Written 12 July 2022
