Very well organized and excellent host/guide Esmeralda
Are you planning a daytrip, decide to go with Pareja tours! Today we went to the Caminito del Rey. The pick up was perfect on time and very close to our appartment. We had a warm welcome by Esmeralda the host/guide. The caminito was amazing! Everything was organized in detail. Esmeralda is an enthousiastic and very friendly host/guide with great language skills in englisch, german and spanish. She was well prepared and had an eye on every single guest. During the walk she gave us a lot of extra information about the history of the Caminito del Rey and the region. Thanks again for the amazing day. For sure we will return traveling with Viajes Pareja Tours in future. José & Jeanine

      A brilliant day out!!!!
Get off your sunbeds guys n gals and do this trip. It’s a full day out and make sure you take some sensible shoes to do this walk. The scenery is breathtaking and awesome at the same time.Just a note to the wise,if you don’t like heights then this is probably not for you but if you’re ok with heights then it’s a must. Our guide Luis was a great guy who was very very knowledgable and told us loads of information and he spoke in loads of languages.Take a backpack with water and a few snacks as it’s quite a long trek but worth it. We’ve just back to our room now and we are tired but we have loads of memories of an amazing day out.GET IT BOOKED!!!

A one of a kind experience
Pick up was very prompt at all stops. Upon arrival at Caminito del Rey and given our compulsory safety wear, we were all given the option to walk with our tour guide (Luis) or walk it ourselves at our own pace. We decided to stay with Luis, as we do tend to walk quickly and we didn't want to finish too early or miss anything. At total of about 14 people on our coach chose to do the same and it was a good decision. We walked at a perfect pace and Luis gave us details about the history and points of interest. We even found out that the railway line is still in use today, being the Malaga to Seville route, as well as how the earth plates were so different in each gorge (three in total). There were plenty of photo opportunities and Luis offered several times to take pictures of each group. A few friends have commented that Caminito del Rey's walkways look very high. I can reassure you that I was never aware of being that high up at any stage, you were walking on solid ground between walkways. Towards to end of the walk, Luis showed us a red peppercorn tree and we could even try the peppercorns, which we would have missed otherwise. At the end of the walk we still had plenty of time of get a drink and look at the merchandise.

I highly recommend this tour. The view is breathtaking and the tour is well organized. Luis Löwenstein was my tour guide and with his sense of humor set the mood from the beginning. The other tour guide is called Esmeralda, she was so kind and helpful and told very interesting -but not overwhelming- information during the tour. :)

      Caminito del Rey
Really enjoyable trip and well worth the visit. Tour guides Luis and Esmeralda were excellent and really informative from start to finish. The walk itself was really dramatic and although we were among other walkers you could still get the image of the original path.

Great place, beautiful views. I was afraid it would be scary at some points but no, it’s all very safe and didn’t trigger my fear of heights at all. The path is mostly flat and anyone who can walk 8 km can make it. The trip was well organized, on time, and the guides provided lots of information.

      Excellent Day
Excellent and breath taking trip. Omar was our guide and our journey around Caminito del Rey was wonderful. Omar provided many insights and kept a good pace during the excursion. The views are spectacular and makes for a great walk. A degree of fitness is required ( as is being unaffraid of heights) but everyone should visit.

Wow! Simply fantastic! Everything was perfect from the moment we were collected to the moment we were dropped back off in Malaga. Lewis our guide was extremely welcoming and gave a excellent brief on route to the start point. Our guide, Victor, on the the walk was very knowledgeable and added to the experience by taking about the worker and families that built the Caminito del Rey (The Kings path). We finished the walk off in a small village where there were several stalls selling lunch, drinks and gifts. We had 2 large Sangrias from Mucho Gusto (3rd stall from the left) that cost 4 euros each and were first class.

It was an amazing trip. The weather was perfect ( blue sky, not too hot, not too cold), on the first day of March. The tour bus arrived on time at 9:35 and stopped at #11 city bus stop . The guide was humorous and explained the trip excellently. Before the walk, we were given the time to go to toilets ( because there were no toilets during the 2.5 hour walk). A free bottle of water was available for everyone. The walk started at the upstream so it would be mainly going downwards ( nice). We met at the exit point and the bus picked us up at 14:15, and back to Malaga straight away. The view of the gorge was amazing and breathtaking. The tour was organised really well. Highly recommended!

Absolutely Phenomenal trip and would HIGHLY recommend to everyone. We considered cancelling this trip a few days before hand but decided what the hell, and I'm delighted we didn't as it was easily the highlight of our holiday. Buses were already there when we arrived at the pickup spot and were very cool inside which was a massive relief from the sweltering heat.

Luis, the tour guide was genuinely amazing. Perfect English, German and of course Spanish, was incredibly energetic but not to the point where you get irritated by him, especially when you're so tired that early in the day, but rather to the point everyone is in a great mood and genuinely looking forward to the trip. He provided constant information on the trip, told us all the info we'd need such as how long the trip was, how far, what to expect, the history of it, where to go, what to do etc etc, you were fully aware of everything and didn't have any questions as a result and not to mention, the free water bottles for everyone once at the destination was not just a nice touch, but a life saver!

Honestly i can't praise Luis nor the bus driver enough, the trip was spectacular, we couldn't stop praising it when we got home and if you're considering this trip I'd implore you to book it. The views were spectacular and photos genuinely cannot do it justice, would love to come back and do it again

The entire trip was well organized, including the bus ride that took us to the location. Our personal guide, Dafne, was truly exceptional. During the tour, we had various personal conversations, and she mentioned that she's one of the newest guides despite previously working mainly in the office. However, her performance was so remarkable that I would have never guessed she was new to this role. Dafne shared captivating stories throughout the journey, and her attention to everyone's safety during the hike was greatly appreciated. Give Dafne a raise ;)
She was lovely and totally made our trip the best experience we could have!

We had such a fun day with this tour! The pickup went really smoothly, the bus was on time, and the bus even had air-conditioning. The guide, Louis, was really nice, and he knew a lot of interesting information (in good English).

We chose to walk the path on our own, and this was the perfect choice for us! We could walk at out own pace, take lots of pictures, and eat our lunch on the way. The water bottle was also very welcome, but it was not too hot. The walk itself is 7km in total, and not hard.

All in all, we had a really good day! The caminito is sooo beautiful, do not miss it!

This was a great day with spectacular views. The walk way was suspended high above the valley but it was extremely safe. Our guide was very professional and have clear guidance speaking in three different languages and was easy to understand. This is a trip that I would highly recommend.

A wonderful tour with a highly informative guide who is fluent in 5 languages!! We were called 1 day before the tour to reconfirm the booking and also to inform us of the meeting place in Malaga city.

The trek itself was highly exhilarating. It seemed perilous when we looked at the pictures while booking but hardly broke a sweat while doing it. Fantastic views and an extremely safe way to experience a 'cliffhanger thrill'. Tons of opportunities to take amazing pictures and make memories for life. We would definitely recommend the tour.

Nice tour, absolutely recommend visiting Caminito del Rey if you are around Malaga. It is truly breathtaking, the walk, the landscape, nature. The walk was renovated and is very safe now, but might not be the best option if you're afraid of heights 😄

The tour is for big groups, around 50-60 people and you get transport from Malaga with a tour guide, then once there can walk by yourself. We preferred that option compared to being a big group walking together on the Caminito.

Big Kudos to our guide who was super friendly, spoke 4 languages perfectly (!!) and gave us interesting details on the way there.

Caminito del Rey is incredible! The Viajes Pareja team made everything so smooth - the pick-up and drop-off was easy and the team was very communicative throughout. They also had a lot of information and genuine excitement about the caminito so I left the tour feeling like I learned a lot (I opted for the "guided" version instead of doing the walk on my own) while having a great time walking the path and being impressed by all of the nature in the region as well as the infrastructure.
