What to expect
Make your way to the Alhambra ticket office at your selected morning, afternoon, or evening tour time. Skip the line of people waiting for entrance tickets and head straight into the palace complex to begin your private tour. As you walk through the grounds of the Alhambra, your guide will bring the site to life by sharing its legends and stories. Learn how the Alhambra became the last Muslim bastion in Spain after eight centuries of power, tour the opulent 14th-century Palacio Nazaries, and see the intricate courtyards whose fountains still run. Spend just enough time at each major attraction in the Alhambra to get a sense of its significance — you can return to your favorite areas at the end of the tour. Your guide will leave you to further explore the Alhambra at the end of your tour.

Real insight from Mohammed
Mar 2020
Fantastic way to learn about the Alhambra from an insider's perspective. He is justifiably proud of what Islamic culture offered in terms of architecture, art and culture and the place is a pinnacle of that achievement. As a fellow medievalist (though from a Western perspective) it was fascinating to see how he view the expansion of Islamic culture in the known world at that time. Wish we had more time to get into more of the detail of Islamic art and its production. Also he can recommend some interesting reading for those who want more after such an informative afternoon.

Fabulous tour with Mohammed!
Jan 2020
We had booked a private tour and were notified that the tour would start at 3. No guide showed up and after we waited about 15 minutes called the company. Problem with the guide and they were sending another. Mohammed showed up in 20 minutes and he more than made up for the delay. Fantastic knowledge of the place and its history. He expertly guided us through the complex pointing out many interesting things along the way. Incredibly energetic and excited about his subject. Highly recommend. PS, the tour company, without our asking refunded us part of the tour cost as an apology.

Amazing place- knowledgeable friendly guide
Jan 2020 • Family
We were late in planning and could not get tickets to the Nasrid palaces so I felt very fortunate to find this tour.
It was private and worth the money we got into all three areas with no delay. Apparently it was not a very busy day but still we made it through easily.
Pablo was knowledgeable and friendly and we had a good time throughout the tour. Got some pictures of the amazing views and ceramic tile work. Would not miss and was the only way to get inside being I had not planned well enough.

Worth it!
Nov 2019 • Couples
We had a 3 hour private tour with Adrianna and it was worth every penny. We saw the Generalife, the Alhambra, Charles V palace and the Nasrid palace. The whole complex is huge and the tour helped move us along. Adrianna was amazing. Very knowledgeable and super polished. Her English was perfect.

We did start the tour 20 minutes late because we couldn’t find the meeting point. Poor planning on our part. I would highly recommend coming earlier.... Adrianna managed to get all the information in and we didn’t have to skip anything.

Amazing place, amazing knowledge
The tour was well structured and our guide Gosha was so knowledgable that every turn seemed to reveal another fascinating fact. The Alhambra and the rest of the complex is stunning, and had we not had a guide we would have struggled to understand the complexity as well as to interpret the meanings of much of what we saw. The 3 hours flew past - but take a bottle of water, it's pretty much non-stop!

We very much enjoyed our private guided tour through Alhambra with Mohammed. With high engagement and strong knowledge we had a great learning experience about the ancient history, life and art that enabled us notice a lot of the awesome views and details of the palaces and gardens. Thank you!

Worth every penny (Long Review)!
Sep 2019
We forgot to purchase tickets to the Alhambra and were not staying in Granada, so we were forced to book a tour to get tickets. Based on what I had read skipping the line is a must. The price of a private tour is about double what the admission costs just to skip the line and it is worth every penny!

First of all, you can really notice the difference when skipping the line. That's worth whatever price you pay. But our guide, Mohammed, was incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell he is invested in what he is doing. He speaks at least three languages. He has an incredible command of history and the facility. He also provides different options and will tell you what to do with the time not on the tour. Most of all, we had a very young, very cranky son with us. It did not bother Mohammed at all. He worked with the situation and it was just an incredible experience. Our son was running around barefoot (the only way he would stop crying at one point) and the guards were angry about the situation. Mohammed spoke with them and cleared everything up. He was able to answer every question and really took the time to make sure we got to know the facility. He also helped carry the stroller and entertain my son -- all while giving us the tour. Just an amazing guide.

In sum, I would not hesitate to book the tour again. All of the reviews were spot on. It was worth every penny and certainly made our trip worth it. Highly recommended.
