About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Georgette S0 contributionsA perfect guided tourWe felt our tour was the best we’ve had throughout the whole of Europe. Alberto was very knowledgeable and conducted his tour extremely professionally. However, we also enjoyed the humour and fun facts he injected into his tour. He is certainly an invaluable asset to your company and the perfect ambassador for Granada!Written 5 December 2024
- Passport5492480 contributionsBest tour of our tripThat was one of the highlights of our Andalusia trip. Our guid was knowledgeable. His English was excellent. The value for money and time spended was exceptionally good to compare with other tours we had in Andalusia.Written 3 December 2024
- Cruiser108548742360 contributionsAlhambra is awesome!Gustavo A. Was the best guide ever! He told us the great history of the Alhambra and he was easy to understand. Promote the guy!Written 19 November 2024
- V9526OYpaulh0 contributionsAlhambra is a must-visit location in Andalusia. The place is amazing. The tour feels rushed because it's a huge complex and there's a LOT to see - but you will miss out on a lot if you try to explore without a guide.Written 7 November 2024
- Adhi12340 contributionsAmazing Tour!Just went to Alhambra and I highly recommend the tour! Gustavo was amazing, pace was perfect, and the Alhambra is a sight to behold!Written 4 November 2024
- MartiR2050 contributionsNot what we paid for!!The tour was supposed to be in English. The tour guide Frances said it was English and German but he spoke mostly German ( probably because of the attractive women from Austria) We all used our phones to take photos and I overheard him speaking with another guide in Spanish saying this was the worst tour he had ever done because we weren’t paying attention and were using our phones. He also berated me for saying I was asking a question he had already answered! A good tour guide never treats his clients so poorly!!Written 27 October 2024
- Roriga550 contributionsExcellent Tour GuideOur guide:Carlos Moreno Fuentes. Had a great experience.Carlos was very knowledgeable and informative. Answered all questions easily. Nice personality. Seems to love what he does.Written 25 October 2024
- tedl1880 contributionsGreat guide. Wonderful experience. Our tour gyide, Gustavo A., was very experienced and professional. He answered all our questions and I learned so much more about the Alhambra and Granada. Beyond my expectations.Written 23 October 2024
- ANNIE C0 contributionsTour of the Alhambra and GardensOur tour guide, Andy, was excellent! Being a history major, he had a wealth of knowledge of the history of the Alhambra and the culture of the people of Granada. He was interesting, considerate, and courteous to the small group.Andy spoke English well and guided us at a pace that was comfortable for all. Highly recommend him for a tour.Written 21 October 2024
- Alial110 contributionsExcellent guided tour AlhambraMarilla was a wonderful guide. Her historical knowledge helped place the Alhambra in its context. She was very kind to the group - we lost some! And she managed to make it feel like we were her first group. Thank you so muchWritten 20 October 2024
- 879cindyt0 contributionsA great day out from Granada exploring the coast!Michael was a terrific guide, and we explored a variety of places along the coast and the caves at Nerja. He sprinked some history and personal experiences into the tour that made a nice connection to our trip in Spain.Written 19 October 2024
- Laura S0 contributionsAlhambra tourThe guide was very very good and knowledgeable. The Alhambra itself was fascinating… a cornerstone of history for all to enjoy.Written 17 October 2024
- 273geoffg0 contributionsVery enjoyable visit. We had a great three hours with Consuela taking us around the Alhambra, feeding us interesting information, both historical and anecdotal, pointing out great photo opportunities, and generally looking after the group really well. She was very personable and clearly knew her stuff, making it a very enjoyable visit.Written 15 October 2024
- OtisandMarc0 contributionsBest tour in Spain. Ask for Vanessa!Wow!!! Astonishing! If you have the chance, see this tour with VANESSA, who was our best tour guide all week (we saw 6 tours). She is engaging, passionate, and a great storyteller who doesn’t fill every minute with historical specifics, which can be exhausting over a 3 hour tour. This is THE TOUR that you need to experience in Spain, topping even La Sagrada Familia.Written 13 October 2024
- sjgrice0 contributionsGreat day trip with an awesome guideHighly recommend this tour! It was a full day of many activities - you’ll wander small mountain towns, taste local goods, shop, see some nature, and have a traditional lunch. Ask for tour guide Michael - he’s the best!Written 12 October 2024

We visited Alhambra during Easter when the Spaniards celebrate their catholic faith with traditional pageants marching through streets, alleys, and city squares. What better way to start our stay than taking a private, guided tour through the last stronghold of the Moors on the Iberian peninsula?
Felipe, our guide, was the perfect companion for our tour of the vast complex, sharing his wealth of knowledge about the site's rich architecture and history. He led us deftly past the long queues of ordinary visitors, providing VIP access to the Nasrid Palaces.
What most impressed us was how he managed to conjure, not only an understanding of the subtle symbolism running through every aspect of the structure, but the supernatural awe it was designed to inspire in supplicants coming to plead their cases before the Sultan's throne.
It was also fascinating to learn, among a lot of other things, that this very throne room is the very spot where Queen Isabella held court just months after evicting the last Sultan in the momentous year of 1492 when they received and decided to fund Christopher Columbus' expedition to what he later named the Americas.
I'm convinced that the sole reason we had such a great time visiting the Alhambra, is the fact that we decided to use Granavisons services. We highly recommend them to future visitors.

We have visited the Alhambra many times before but this experience was really superior as Guillermo Lopez Capelli was an outstanding guide who made the trip alive and memorable. He had an excellent knowledge of the Alhambra but his learning went way beyond with a deep understanding of Spanish and European history. Thank you so. much for making our day. We will hope to have him as our guide on our next visit.

Gustavo, our guide, presented a huge amount of information in a dynamic, attractive and interactive way, with a strong voice and a good English, he combined the historical details with funny stories, he managed to optimise the time and to treat every tourist from our group as he was a special one. He was able to capture and maintain our interest for every minute of the 3 hours, we even didn't realize how the time was gone. Congratulations, we would to recommand you for sure!

Alba was our guide of Alhambra. She is extremely knowledgeable about the history, culture, religion, and philosophies of the palaces. She understands them holistically and with great reverence, and provided a very interesting and informative tour. We learned a lot from her!

Our guide Francesc gave our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) and another German couple a very interesting, very competent, funny and original 3-hour tour of the Alhambra. Every minute was interesting and he was able to answer all of our questions. He also knows the corners away from the tourist crowds.

I find it scandalous that 21 hours before the start time of our visit to the Alhambra, an email shows that there is no room. This means that we came especially for the Alhambra, four days in Granada, so we came for nothing. Costs for the tickets and the hotel were thrown away. I booked months ago and now cancel 21 hours before departure, never been treated so badly. Lousy service. Never again.

Wonderful day, with the excellent and very knowledgeable guide Antonio Villajos, who told us about everyday life as it was 800 years ago. The work of the staff in the palace and the gardeners in the gardens. Antonio was very benevolent in his guidance throughout the trip. You were very inspired to listen to him. It meant that we borrowed books from the library and read about Alhambra after we came to Denmark.
We saw most of the fantastic views where there was plenty of opportunity to take pictures for memory.

Tak for dine ord!
Tak skal du have!

We love our private tour of the Alhambra with our tour guide, Antonio. Antonio was very knowledgeable and very attentive to the needs of our family, especially with our 5 year old daughter who gets tired and bored easily. The Alhambra is truly something everyone must experience at some point in their lives. I highly recommend this tour!

On June 8, we visited Alhambra and Nasrid Palaces with our guide Antonio. It was the second time for my husband and I, and the first for our daughters, 24 and 29 years old, visiting the Alhambra and Nasrid. We decided on a private tour, because the first time we were a large group, on a fast track, and you need time to appreciate these places. Antonio was wonderful. He has a Master in History and it shows. The visual part was accomplished via a tablet. There he showed us photos of how things were during the Alhambra splendor years, as we were in the different rooms of the palace. He gave us oil samples to touch and smell, as the ones prepared in that time. Then gave us an “ empanada” to eat, as the ones prepared at that time. Certainly it was a wonderful experience through the senses, without skipping any information and with a very good guide. Highly recommended.
