Our trip to Gibraltar was fabulous, mostly due to our tour guide Petra. She was so loud and so funny and could easily translate between English and Spanish quickly. In fact, one of the other passengers laughed at her jokes both times she told them in different languages! We started off with a quick pit stop for folks to get some food or use the restroom. Before getting to Gibraltar, Petra was very clear how things would work, where we would meet, and what we should if we had a problem getting from the Spanish side to the British side. Everything went smoothly and it was easy to follow her loud voice and tall frame around the city-no microphone even necessary!

We had a little time to enjoy the city and grab something to eat before getting in another bus to take us to the top of the mountain. We had some terrific views of the coast, the caves were stunning with the light show, and the monkeys kept us laughing and "oohing" for quite some time. It was a very memorable trip and it was clear that Petra had done the same trip numerous times because she was always organized, very clear, and a very enjoyable tour guide.

Firstly the positives: Petra, our guide, was absolutely wonderful and kept things going at a fair clip. The coach was comfortable and one good thing was that she tried to make the drop off as close to our hotels as paapi ke. That was lovely and certainly going the extra mile.
In terms of the negatives, there are primarily 2 of them. Firstly as the title of the trip suggests it’s ONLY a trip to Gibraltar and not really to the rock of Gibraltar. You don’t go higher than Point Europa and even that is a 10 min stop (which is not enough). All the stops are very rushed, possibly because of the backlog of tourist buses.
Secondly, you don’t get to use the cable cars or go to the top of The Rock. You don’t get enough time to do it in the 90min lunch break given.
All in all a good day trip to Gibraltar but necessarily the The Rock!
My suggestion would be to use them at a discounted price to get to Gibraltar and back. Once there , take the local tour operator who are just outside the UK side. In summary, book carefully!

A very good trip and I loved seeing Gibraltar, but the tour felt a little disorganized at times. I had wished that the guides would have recommendations for us during our free time, as I wasn't really sure what to do or see. The tour description also said that there'd be a headset to hear the tour guide, but we didn't receive one. At times it was slightly difficult to hear them. However, the tour guides were very friendly, and if you're wanting to see Gibraltar while in Seville, this tour is much easier than renting your own vehicle to drive there.

This review is going to give the entire picture of the trip.

There was a small mishap and that a few of us that booked the trip weren't on the agenda and so at first the guide didn't pick us up. I reached out to the agency and they promptly told me where to meet the guide in Seville. Perhaps not ideal but communication was excellent and I walked about a half a mile to meet the guide as my hotel was on a street that didn't permit cars and it was a nice day.

Once the guide picked us all up we were off to Gibraltar and the guide was very informative while we were driving down there giving us lots of facts. He (Guido) was Italian but his English was perfect. Once we parked by the border, we had to walk to Gibraltar which as I am writing this am laughing as despite it was only about two blocks, it's just a funny story to tell. We crossed the border and then met the local driver for tour group in Gibraltar where they brought us to The Rock which was actually pretty much all of Gibraltar and we went to the caves where we also saw monkeys which were really cute. The caves were nice, but it was also highly appreciated that on the tour they drove around all of Gibraltar so we could see the southern point of the country as well where we could also see Africa. Once the tour in Gibraltar was done we had about an hour to explore the town which was great because I already had an agenda and saw everything I wanted to see. I gave it four stars as I was under the impression that the guide was going to pick me up from my hotel, but it was a nice day and I didn't mind walking. The tour was very informative and I saw more of Gibraltar than if I were to have taken the train there myself and walked around. I'd recommend this tour for anyone that wants a taste of Gibraltar and would also recommend getting fish and chips down there as it was really fresh. A great tip from Guido. Once back in Seville he dropped me off close to my hotel and the day was complete.

We took the Andalsur 1 day excursion to Gibraltar from Sevilla. Roman was an excellent guide and the day progressed without a hitch. David, our guide while in Gibraltar, was witty and informative. If you've already visited Cordoba, Ronda, and Italica, then British Gibraltar offers something different.

Great trip. Well worth the bus ride. Lots of interesting history and geography. Monkeys were a hoot. Could have used a little more time at Europa Point. I recommend this trip.

We headed out on time with a small group of 6 from Seville with Petra. She was lovely and gave us a lot of information along the way. Good sense of humor. Arrived and walked across the border which was fine, no problems. We had to wait for a plane to take off before we could continue and that was pretty cool to see. Had some free time in the square before we headed to another coach for our tour of the rock with a local guide from the Blands tour company. That's where it all went horribly wrong. Phil, the driver/guide was incredibly offensive, homophobic and misogynistic with his comments which he clearly thought were humorous. Not so, many of us were deeply offended by his rude comments. Caves decent to see. Be aware that there is a fair bit of walking on this tour including ups and downs. We didn't mind it at all, but others might. The whole experience would have been 5 stars except for that local guide who ruined the experience for us. I emailed Andalsur, the tour company in Seville and have yet to hear back.
