About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 534mirthal0 contributionsExcellent tour guideBeautiful tour of the Cathedral of Seville and the Alcázar. Ivan, our tour guide, is so knowledgeable of Spanish history and obviously loves what he does. He added details that made history come alive.Written 11 September 2024
- Unavid0 contributionsA rare miss from a TripAdvisor tourI don’t like giving negative reviews, but I see no choice here. First, it took 40 minutes just to get working earpieces for everyone, and while I understand there can be technical glitches, this was a disaster. The guide did a good job of providing information and explaining the history of the cathedral and Alcazar (the royal palace), but she had no flag or colorful umbrella or something to make it easier to find her. We were a large group and given how incredibly crowded both locations are (especially the cathedral) with multiple tour groups all wandering around at the same time, it was easy to get lost. She kept saying it was ok if we didn’t see her because she could see us, but I don’t feel as that was particularly helpful. The main reason I booked this tour was to skip the line, and while we definitely got in faster than we otherwise could have, I don’t think the time saved was worth the cost of the tour especially since both places offer audio guides that give decent information though certainly not as much depth as you’ll get from an actual guide. I’m sorry, but I just can’t recommend this one.Written 11 September 2024
- W1586WHanneh0 contributionsGreat excursion with Alberto! We had a wonderful excursion to the White Villages and Ronda. We especially appreciated and enjoyed the family owned olive oil mill in Zahara. Our guide Alberto was wonderful. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. We learned a great deal on this excursion been a while and route Alberto so much about Seville and Spain. It was quite a long day though. So you must be ready for that. May have preferred just visiting Zahara and Ronda to make the visit a little shorter.Written 11 September 2024

- joannagO8417VR0 contributionsGreat tour of ItalicaWe booked the English language of the tour. Alberto was our guide, he was friendly and very knowledgeable. I learnt a lot of things that I wouldn’t have known by visiting on my own. The pace and length of the tour was right. We were given a little bit of time to explore Italica on our own. When I booked it at the time, I didn’t realise that it included a visit to the monastery of San Isidoro so it was a pleasant surprise. It wasn’t something I knew existed and made good use of being on the outskirts of Seville as well as seeing lesser known places of interest.Written 10 September 2024

- neilbW6285DC0 contributionsInformative and education tour of the Alcazar and the Cathedral. The tour led by Christina was very informative - she gave a lot of background and history to each site we visited. It was obvious that she took great pride in the history of the city, giving detailed facts for the sites we visited. The tour was 4 hours long, on a hot day so be the end of the tour we were extremely tired but it was well worth it. The highlight for us was the Cathedral - an amazing, amazing place.Written 8 September 2024

Very knowledgeable about everything, history, farming, animals etc...we had a really relaxing day being shown around.... nice not to have to make any decisions! Olive farm, really cool. White village, again really cool, lovely lunch. Not sure about Ronda, but just a great day out. Cheers Alberto and your mate the driver. Good job.Written 6 September 2024

A great day trip if you want to explore some of the white villages of Andalucia as well as the incredible city of Ronda. We had a great tour guide (Peter) who was very knowledgeable and told us all sorts of historical information as we drove to each stop. We made three stops on our way to Ronda: a quaint, small town called Zahara, a brief tour of an olive oil factory, and then finally Grazalema, a scenic village where we had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant (very reasonable cost but not included in tour price). Peter was great about recommending local dishes to try. Our final stop was Ronda. Peter gave us a very brief overview of the town and showed us a few picturesque spots for photos, and then we had about 2 hours of free time to explore. It is a really beautiful city with so much history and incredible scenery. The whole day was very well planned and we felt quite comfortable with the timeline - never felt rushed. Highly recommend if you would like to see some of the white villages or Ronda but do not have the luxury of a car or multiple days to explore the region.

This was a very good tour. I wasn’t overwhelmed with the sites; they were nice but not amazing. What I was impressed with was the tour guide and the company providing the tour. The coach was new and comfortable. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about local and Spanish history and added a lot of value to the tour. Our 7 and 4 year old children enjoyed it as well. I recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore a bit of Andalusia outside of Sevilla.

While the White Villages were charming nothing was open to see. Perhaps it was the day of the week or the season, April. We do not think with limited time on a trip to Spain it is worth it. Ronda is quite an unusual city sitting on the cliffs. There is nothing to see in the city and it can be viewed simply by driving by. Our guide, Guido, was great however.

I was looking forward to this trip covering some of the White Villages of Andalucía (Pueblo Blancos), and it did not disappoint.
The ride was very smooth, one of the better days in the regions after a week of pouring rain. As many have mentioned, Ronda is the highlight of the trip, and I also liked Zahara where we visited a 300 year old mill that produces olive oil using the traditional handpick method and first cold pressed.
Ronda is famous for its bridge that connect the old city with the new city and the views were magnificent, so were the photos.
The views throughout the entire trip were stunning. Maybe next time I will rent a place in one of these quaint and relaxed small villages to explore the area.
Our tour guide Nieves was great. She navigated effortlessly three languages, Spanish, English and French and shared the history of the places at a pace that was comfortable for everyone.
Would definitely recommend this tour to everyone who likes nature and is interested traveling outside of the beautiful big cities of Andalucía.

I took this trip from Seville on a weekday, traveling by myself. The bus had three pickups total before we hit the road. Our guides were Maria and her trainee Carmen.
Our coach bus was fairly comfortable, the only thing it lacked were chargers for our phones, so take one of you can.
The 1st stop is about half an hour out, a simple castle ruin. Unfortunately it was locked when we arrived, but we still got a few minutes to check it out and hear some history about it.
During the ride you can appreciate how the terrain changes from flat to low hills (looking a little bit like Tuscany) and then far more rugged features as you enter into the national park and the white villages.
As you get closer to the villages the roads become a lot more narrow and curvy, the bus driver's skills were amazing.
The 2nd stop was Zahara, a small pretty village overlooking a reservoir. We had several minutes to enjoy the scenery and grab a cup of coffee before jumping back onto the bus.
Next was a quick tour of a olive farm, which provided a short overview of the machinery/ process, and then an opportunity for a small oil tasting and buy any of their goods.
Then to the last white village, Grazalema, for more good photo opportunities and lunch. It is larger than Zahara and there are some decent food options here.
Then back on the bus to Ronda, where after disembarking you walk into town and are led to the park overlooking the grand bridge. You then have time to explore. The best 2 options are to either go down into the canyon to get some great photos, and/or visit the bull ring and museum. I would recommend the canyon walk, but only if you are in decent shape, the climb down and back up requires a fair degree of dexterity and fitness.
You can actually see into the bull ring by going to the terrace restaurant in the hotel across the street
(4th floor).
The ride back was 1 3/4 hours.
Lots of fun, Maria was very good.

Very disappointing day and guide.
He didn't give us nearly enough information to make the tour interesting and worth that much money
His English was so-so and it was hard to understand him
He spent more time with some people than others, mainly the Spanish speakers.
As for the tour, be prepared to spend 70% of the time in the car. If you are expecting to see the Ronda Bridge (the advertsiment picture for the tour), you will not.
You will only be dropped in Ronda (and in the white villages) with just a few explanations.
If you want to see the Bridge, it's up to you to walk there during the imparted free time.
In the villages, the only information you will get is which café the guide likes anf where he takes his breaks.
Also the best view of the villages is from afar, but you won't be able to stop on the road to take pictures.
I definitively don't think this tour is worth that much money, and think that the pictures they are using should be considered false advertsiment.

We are two couples joined the day tour of Ronda and white village on Sep 27. We arrived the pick up point and wait. But our guide and bus is late because the traffic jam of Sevilla. First we go to the white village which is build on the high ground. There is a reservoir nearby. Our guide Christina told us there are many people would go to play water sport in summer time. Village is quiet and we have our coffees in a little cafe. Then we drive to another white village and have our lunches in a local restaurant and the foods are good with reasonable price. After lunch, we drive to Ronda. Our bus stop and park in the bus station of Ronda. We take a walk from station though new town to the new bridge and have free time to explore this place(Old town). We visited some interest places and take some great photos in Ronda. Then we drive back to Sevilla and dismiss. Our guide Christina discribe about white villages and Ronda are detail. We are satisfy this trip and good rate for our guide.

Leon and our driver were great! The tour left promptly and began with 3 collection points on the bus. While going through Leon gave some snippets of history and stuff to see. You then travel to an alive oil factory where you can taste and see how it’s made! After this you go to some white villages where Leon gives you a guided tour through them and finally onto Ronda! We recommend going to the viewing point where you can visit the waterfall below (€5pp) as well as this the old town was very nice!
Leon and our driver were both lovely people! Leon has such a wealth of knowledge and along the roads on the way to stops was never shy to give you the full experience with lots of information!
When booking we struggled to pick which tour to go with but I would highly recommend this one! Even in a restaurant he recommend he helped with recommending good food for us!

What an incredible experience this was. Thank you so much to Carlos who made the tour not only interesting but funny and well worth the time spent exploring the white cities.
In addition to the stops described in the tour itinerary we were surprised with a tour of a very old olive oil mill that is still in use today, had the opportunity to eat in an authentic restaurant in the charming town of Grazalema, and benefited off of many other small tips given to us in each of the towns.
I would highly recommend the tour, and more so our tour guide. Thank you Carlos!

One of the worst tours we went on while in Spain. Loved seeing Ronda ad that is what the 2 stars are for, otherwise it would have been -1.
The tour is so poorly organized and honestly felt kind of "sponsored". In the first village we got 20 minutes, second an hour (barely able to eat lunch) and then headed to the olive oil mill where we were stuffed into a room to watch a video about the mill, and then second village, where the tour guides promote a restaurant for lunch. we had less than on hour in the village, that was not even enough to finish lunch. and finally when we got to Ronda, we only had an hour there, not enough to see anything. Had the first village and the olive oil mill not been part of the tour, we would have actually had better timing with everything. and of course at every stop people kept coming back 15-20 minutes late because there is no way to come back on time and it kept getting more frustrating.
the tour was in English and Spanish. and the English guide, was a sweetheart but her English was as good as my Spanish. we could not understand her at all.
we went on 9 tours during our stay in Spain, some of which where all-day tours, and this was the worst experience.
I would suggest find a tour that just goes to Ronda, or Ronda and one white village. or honestly just take a bus to Ronda and back on your own. Ronda is a must see.

What time do you return to Seville? We would like to return to the cruise ship before dark, and not miss dinner.
Written 15 March 2024
We returned before 7pm, maybe a little late due to a few wayward members of the group that wandered off and didn't return promptly. The guides did a good job otherwise of corralling people to keep the group moving. Although it was dark in the winter, it will likely still be light during the summer months. Check the time of sunset to gauge.
