      Good choise 😁
The Alhambra is too big and complex to visit alone. Traveling with a tour is a better choice. Petra was very cheerful and knowledgeable. It is recommended.

Great trip to see two continents and three countries.
We had a great time on this tour. We would have liked to have a little more free time to allow for visit to the Top of the Rock. Manuel was great and made the trip more fun. He did a very good job of explaining everything to us and cared about everyone on the trip, especially those who might have had difficulty crossing the border and returning. We did take the cable car to the top of the rock. Unfortunately we took too long and we were not able to get a taxi back to the meeting point to continue our tour. We were able to make meet up with the bus at the next stop. He was in contact with us during this time. Note that taxi drivers are not very accommodating because they want to book tours instead of rides. We were told by our driver that they are supposed to take you back to the center, which would have been nice to know that we could push back. Overall a five star experience.

      Wonderful and fun day trip
The trip to Gibraltar was well organized and fun. They took us to see good views of the city and of the monkeys. Our tour guide, Manuel, was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend taking this day trip.

      Perfect Day trip
Maria's tour of Cordoba was exceptional! The tour was perfectly timed, allowing us to see all the major sights without feeling rushed. We even had spare time to explore the charming streets and alleys of the old town, which was a lovely bonus. The mosque/cathedral guide was knowledgeable and passionate which brought the history and culture of Cordoba to life. Highly recommended!

Very long day but I overall was glad I went! The Alhambra is super cool, as is the Albaicin neighborhood. The tour made the day conveinent by dropping us at each place and picking us up from each place. Beautiful scenery on the drive there and back. However, I would say that besides the entry ticket the only thing you're really paying for on this tour is the coach to get to Granada from Seville. There is a short walking tour given by the Andalsur tours guide that is free and included for everyone of the Albaicin neighborhood in the afternoon, but you have an official Alhambra tour guide for three hours during the morning. Then you have free time for lunch here and in the Albaicin. The first and last hours of the day are driving around various places in Seville to pick people up and drop people off. There were at least 7 pick up points. Cut that, save people time and just have everyone meet at the office. It turned what could've been an 11 hour day into a 13 hour day. Also, masks should be enforced on the coach - it made me uncomfortable that they weren't.

What a fantastic time I had on this lovely trip. Tickets for the Alhambra usually sell out in advance, but I booked this the day before travelling. I won't go into details on the Alhambra as it sells itself and if you're reading reviews about it then you already know that you have to go, but needless to say, it is sublime. I really enjoyed the entire trip, but what really made the experience so wonderful was our guide Petra, who has an infections enthusiasm that was unwaivering for the whole excursion. She was lovely, approachable, knowledgeable, and really well organised, and worked diligently to ensure everyone got the experience they wanted. She really was fantastic!

Appalling customer service. I arrived on time for the pick up having received a confirmation message from Andalsur for my day trip to the Alhambra from Seville. This was booked as a 13 hour full day due to the 3 hour + coach journey each way. I was therefore extremely frustrated to receive a text from Andalsur after we had stopped for lunch in Granada telling me that due to a “human fault” I would not be visiting the Alhambra as they didn’t have a ticket for me. Had they told me the day before or even on the morning before I got on the coach I would not have wasted a whole day. They claim they didn’t find out there was a problem with the tickets until 12pm on the day when we were already in Granada. I paid €139.90 for the ticket only to waste a whole day because of their incompetence. When I complained and asked for a full refund as they failed to deliver the tour I paid for they claimed it wasn’t their fault but the fault of the ticket company they use. It made for a very bad experience as some of the 50 people on the coach did have tickets and the tour guide had to explain that more than half of us couldn’t go in.
I am having to raise a disputed payment claim with my credit card company as Andalsur are refusing to move on the refund amount and are only offering a 50% refund so they are expecting me to pay for the privilege of sitting on a coach for 6 hours and visiting 2 service stations and a restaurant in Granada. Terrible company. Bad communication and rubbish customer service. Avoid!

We were being picked up successfully and the tour was smooth Petra which was our guide for Albacin was very friendly and welcoming.

For the Alhambra itself, we were being handled by another operator called Granadavision. The Alhambra tour was around 2 hours and 45 minutes and we were able to browse the entire Alhambra at ease. Andy was our tour guide who was a history major. He was able to guide us through the Alhambra and gave us a brief intro of a specific period of Granada for us which was crucial in understanding the architecture of the landmark. Not only is he knowledgeable in history, he is also well versed in Arabic. Being friendly and attentive he can be the best if not already the best guide we have encounter during this trip.

If I really wanted to complaint or if I was demanded to give out an area of improvement, I would say a little bit of guidance or tips on how to take the best picture for people joining the group will be especially tempting to Asian tourist.

4/5 definitely recommend but really the ticket office and agent office can be hard to reach before the trip starts which can give guest a sense of paranoia.

Booked the Alhambra from Sevilla trip well in advance of the excursion date. Paid a solid 200 per person. After 3 hours of driving, we pull into the Alhambra parking lot and we are told we can’t get inside the palace due to “human error”. So we are stuck looking at the outside of the palace for 4 hours. On top of that, they didn’t even offer a 100% refund, they only offered 50%. And no matter who I email, I am left with no response. I have emailed info@andalsurexcursiones.com as they told me, and then got redirected and still have no response.

It is a scam. Sometimes they let you in, sometimes they don’t. If it wasn’t a scam they would be apologetic and offer you 100% refund. Also how convenient that our outdoor tour ended at the exact same time as the indoor tour. It was too well-rehearsed. Shame on them for taking advantage of innocent tourists and then not even offering 100% refunds after wasting their whole day.

Dear customer, We are very sorry that your experience with Andalsur Excursiones was not as you expected. We would have liked nothing more than to provide excellent service like the one we are used to, but due to the type of product we sell, there are times when this type of inconvenience occurs that is beyond our control. Andalsur Excursiones is not a scam company. As you can see in the rest of the comments we go to Granada and the Alhambra every day of the year and our clients can always enter the Palaces and all their rooms. And all our clients are more than delighted with this excursion. Yes, we wrote to you to apologize on the same day of the tour, just as we have done with the rest of the clients who this day, due to human error, could not obtain their ticket to the Alhambra. And believe me if we tell you that we have suffered a lot because we do not like to play with people's illusions and we like to do magnificent work like the one we have been doing until now. We understand your frustration, but we would not like to lose the good reputation that we have established after long, hard years of work, because we have failed our clients on one excursion due to human error. I reiterate our apologies and we will do our best to make sure it doesn't happen again. Best regards. Andalsur Excursiones

Our group of three went on this all day trip from Seville. We all agreed that the guide who worked for the tour company was very good. However, he was not our guide for the actual visit to the Alhambra. That guide was quite hard to understand and did not present information in a thorough or well-organized way. In addition, the audio devices did not work well.
The Alhambra is beautiful, interesting and definitely a highlight of a trip to Seville. The Albaicin visit was great as well. Better audio and Alhambra guiding would have justified the expense.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Carlos, picked us up from our hotel and drove us in a nice van, along with five other guests, from our hotel in Seville to the Alhambra in Granada. Carlos was very knowledgeable (spoke at least 3-4 languages) and knew the history of the area well. Once we arrived at the Alhambra, we were assigned a new guide, Alberto. He was an amazing guide in the sense that he knew so much about the Alhambra and the rich history around it. We learned so much and really enjoyed the tour. After flying 16 hours to visit Spain, I’m so glad we decided to pay a little bit more and have a professional guide show us around and tell us the rich meaning and history behind it all. Very glad we did this tour and thank you to our tour guides, who were both wonderful!

We visited today as a couple. The last time I visited the area from the UK in 2020 I couldn't fit a castle visit in .We made a special visit back this year and paid a lot of money in fuel and parking our camper van over night on the site carpark. We booked our tickets the day before and I am disabled so find the walking difficult and impossible really without a walking stick.
We are both mature and upon our arrival today we could not acces The scan digital tour guide on the QR app.We informed various staff including customer services and were treated with indifference. The only interest they had was our tickets and passports. We felt like convicts !.
There was no offer of an English written tour guide even though they new we were struggling.
We left within an hour , there was no information and the palace alone without this was left wanting!
When we exited we told customer services of our complaint and we're told to write it down
.We had spent 10 minutes discussing the fact I was informed I could not use my stick in the palace and the poor staff response at the lack of poor information in English.
Finally we were challenged again for our passports on leaving by a member of staff who's behaviour and attitude was vile to say the least.
So disappointed and really upset that we had such an awful experience when we were so excited to visit and had made so much effort.

We heard that Alhambra is an essential experience if you’re in Andalusia, and I now agree! The Alhambra is a breathtaking world wonder that stimulates your imagination of the past.

This tour was a good experience. The guide for the bus ride and the afternoon Albaycin portion is Roman, who is personable and organized. The bus ride is about 3hr each way, with a 10-15 minute stop halfway. We were able to sleep on the trip out.

As soon as we arrived in Granada, we went to the Alhambra on a tour led by a local guide who was knowledgeable about the history, architecture, etc. The tours are split by language (en, es, fr, de). We started with the surrounding structures then made our way inside the palace.

After a 2-3hr tour of Alhambra, we reconvened with Roman and took the bus to Albaycin. There, we had lunch. You can go anywhere you like during this free time, but we chose to eat at the recommended restaurant, Casa Gabriel, which had delicious lamb chops.

Lastly, there was the brief walking tour of Albaycin, which led us to a great view of Alhambra for pictures. After this, we travelled back to Sevilla, and the day concluded around 7pm.

The Alhambra walking tour, which is a standard tour from the Alhambra, is 5 stars. The Albaicin walking tour was fine but felt like it occupied way too much of the day. It’s probably because they switched up the itinerary and did the Alhambra tour in the late afternoon instead of the morning. As a result, the 2nd half of the day felt very rushed. They won’t even let us visit the gift shop despite multiple members asking because they had to rush back to Saville right after the Alhambra tour. Meanwhile, we spent the 1st half of the day not doing much and spent like 2 hours on lunch.

Dear Bryan, We are glad you liked visiting the Alhambra!. The Albaicin is the oldest arab quarter of the city, a spectacular place in the shadow of the Alhambra that has been declared a -World Heritage Site- by UNESCO. The neighborhood is known for its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and maze-like layout. In fact, it is a good place to enjoy its views of Alhambra. There, you can purchase some souvenirs and enjoy a True Spanish meal. The availability of the tickets/times does not depend on us only, it also depends on the availablity of the monument. Thank you for sharing your experience.
