Cultural insights
It was our first visit to Seville and we took the combined Alcazar and Cathedral tour. Our guide Rosa was informative, paced both visits well and the time flew by. As both of these amazing Minho are crowded with visitors it was great to start at opening time. Well worth it.

Too much cost, not worth it.
Feb 2020 • Solo
The tour guide was good. He gave us the basic information of Alcazar.
However, the tour was only a little over an hour, most of which was spent with him speaking Spanish. This was a mixed tour, Spanish & English which is ok. Except that he needed to repeat the info twice. For $37 I would’ve expected a longer tour, more information & not to combine the different language tours. They obviously did not have enough people for each tour so they put them together. I could’ve bought a ticket & rented the audio guide for a lot less.

Great Visit
Dec 2019
Rosa our guide was great, enthusiastic and informative she showed us around at a nice pace happy to answer questions and engage with our small group. I felt we gained so much more with the benefit of a knowledgeable guide than others relying on the audio guide alone.
Well worth the visit and certainly worth booking a guide.

Alcazar Small Group - Great Option
Nov 2019
The Royal Alcazar is one of those places where a knowledgeable guide makes all the difference. The 10th century palace with considerable enhancements in the 14th century, incorporates Muslim and Christian elements. But to appreciate what you are viewing; it's significance, it's original purpose, and why it is still important today requires an audioguide or, better yet, a real live human being with the knowledge and enthusiasm to bring Alcazar to life. Rosa was outstanding as our expert, enthusiastic historian guiding us through the palace. She was fun, patient, and energetic. The size of our party of 6 people was great. Easy to hear her descriptions and ask questions. We began at 3 pm. After a two and a half hour tour, we were allowed to stay and explore the gardens, which are spectacular, by the way. Do take the side walkway to get some perspective on the gardens. This tour is highly recommended.

Wonderful place, fabulous guide
We went on the 17:15 tour with Rosa. It was a small group (7) so better and the place was much quieter by the end. You get to stay until about 19:45 so decent value. Rosa was a great guide- brilliant English, really interesting (certainly for me, I love history stuff) and informative about Seville in general. Definitely worth it- if I went again I would do a first tour of the day and stay as long as I could to go back around the Palace and maybe see upstairs. Thanks Rosa!

Alcazar - need to include upper quarters
May 2019 • Couples
Did Alcazar including the upstairs quarters. The upstairs quarters is limited to 20 people at a time. This is tightly controlled and admitted by ticket with timed entrance. This ticket also allows you to skip the line to enter the Alcazar. The upstairs quarters are fully furnished unlike the bottom floors. To me it far outshined the other portions of the palace. It includes the Cathedral but if you want something special do the Cathedral Roof Tour. Very interesting. Again you need to do this ahead of time because only 20 people go up on the roof with a guide for 90 minutes. Highly recommend both as stated.

Great way to see the Alcazar
We had a lovely tour and learnt lots about the history and significance of the Alcazar. A beautiful place to visit and beautiful gardens to explore at the end. Also skipping the line was great!

AMAZING TOUR
Dec 2018 • Couples
A most convenient and informative tour. Our guide was on time and easy to locate with her blue umbrella at the meeting point. She was very knowledgeable and provided insight and the historical context of the Alcazar. She was able to answer questions we had about the Alcazar and recommended other places to visit that we might be interested in. The skip-the-line entry was very, very convenient. We highly recommend this tour and would use Amigo tours again if we are lucky enough to return to Seville! The only thing I will suggest is maybe a 2pm start time in the winter (afternoon tour starts at 3pm) so there will be enough time to linger inside the gardens.
