I booked this tour as we thought it made sense to do these main tourist spots in one hit, especially as we were only in Seville for a few days. Our tour guide Montse was excellent, so knowledgeable and her English was fantastic. We met in Calle Francos in a tourist office type outlet, where we were given our audio equipment. We then were able to walk to the front of the queue (more or less) to be admitted to the stunning Alcazar. On our way Montse gave us the history of the area.

After the Alcazar we went to the Cathedral and for those that wanted to, climbed up the Giralda (bell tower, formerly a minaret). The views are amazing and the climb, whilst 10 minutes long, is made easier by the fact that it is ramp style rather than steps. There are 35 levels with a few steps at the top. The Cathedral itself is a feast for the eyes…our photos do not do it justice, it is just stunning.

We did manage to have two short breaks during the tour of around 15 minutes which were most welcome as it was a very hot day.

Overall a great experience, and at a price of just over 40 pounds each, we thought this was good value. Doing it yourself is possible but I feel you would not see everything in the right order and there is so much, you may miss something.

This was a good tour of the Cathedral, tower and Alcazar, lasting about 4 hours. We were a group of 4 which made it very easy to ask questions and stay engaged. Our guide was very passionate and clearly knowledgable. Overall I would recommend - it felt good value for money and I certainly got more out of my trip having a guide than if I had toured the monuments on my own. It was also far better than those large group tours using headsets, and felt much more personal.

Great tour of the Cathedral and the Alcazar with Christina the tour guide. Christina did a great job of explaining the historical events with enthusiasm and keeping the tour group engaged with a lot of trivia questions and giving out a prize for the person who had the most answers. That was a great way to make the event interesting. Highly recommend this tour which takes 3 1/2 hours

The tour was poorly planned and executed. Our guide was unsure of our schedule and we had to backtrack and/or wait more than twice. the tour advertises 'skipping the line' but we seemed to wait at every juncture while the guide got on her phone to call the office about the itinerary, or argue with the attendants at entry points. She was pleasant enough but the guide's English left much to be desired and used incorrect words or phrases.
Finally, just as we got to the Alcazar, her electronic device used to speak to our large group on cheap, little ear-pieces failed and we could not hear her. After another, long wait while guide was on the phone to headquarters, she told us she would attempt to speak loud enough for us to hear her. That was a bad joke in a crowded area with awful acoustics, as much of the Alcazar is, and other guides are talking at the same time in various languages. We finally gave up and left the group in disgust. I don't recommend this tour at all and got no response when I requested at least partial refund. Very unprofessional!

We did this tour with Cristina from Naturanda. We had an amazing experience during the tour. She was very knowledgeable, polite, punctual, covered all key details and above all had cute ways to keep the audience engaged. We were fully engaged for the 3+ hours of the tour and would highly recommend. You will miss out fascinating details about the Alcazar and Cathedral without a guided tour.

This tour ended up running over 4 hours. Manuel was excellent as a source of knowledge but he didn't do as well with keeping up a proper pace so the tour ended up going way too long. Everyone seemed exhausted by the end.

These guided tours should be treated like a nice overview for a first time visitor and not an exhausting detailed guided tour. I would have liked this to be 2.5 hours tops. It's doable as long as the tour guide keeps up the pace and only covers the most relevant interesting topics and not go off track.

This particular tour spent a lot of time at the Cathedral so by the time we got to the Alcazar, we couldn't enjoy it as much because we were already tired.

For the first time visitor, either consider just one tour not covering both so that you can do one on your own or just go self guided for both. That way you can enjoy it at the pace you like.

Took this tour as we had never been to Seville before and these historical places looked a bit overwhelming. Veronica did a great job taking us to both the Cathedral and the Alcazar. She shared alot of good information, knew her way expertly around the areas, and was able to facilitate any conversations with the security and staff. The tour lasted about 3.5 hours. And I know, she had to herd cats with many in the group. :-) But she did a great job and we enjoyed the tour.

Cristina was a fantastic guide. First of all I was a bit late trying to find the location in all of the medieval streets of Sevilla. I think I would have missed a lot if I had had just gone to the cathedral and palace alone without any guide. Cristina knew so much about everything that the time flew by and I wish actually we had more time to learn even more. I think what I liked the most was the extra personal attention. There was one particular painting of the Madonna which I loved and Cristina knew a lot about it and its history, I looked later on the internet and could find next to nothing about it so the extra knowledge she had was really value added. In addition, there were some ceramic tiles which I really enjoyed and Cristina told me about another location in Sevilla where I could see more of the same. She also gave me other advice (not all of which I could follow due to lack of time). Another big plus was that she reminded us about other discounts and entrances at other sites. I went to two of these on a subsequent day and it saved me the entrance fees. In other words, the price of the tour was well worth it and Cristina is the greatest! Her English is quite good and she's really knowledgeable about what she's talking about. As someone interested in history I really felt like I got a good idea of Sevilla's history in a short period of time which I enjoyed a lot. Otra vez muchas gracias Cristina y hasta la proxmia vez! :) Edwin

Late starting, headphones for a number of the group not working, far too many people booked on the trip (30 I assume all paying £40 plus to one guide) ….lost the guide twice and the second this had to abandon the trip and take the headphones back to the office as we and 3 others couldn’t find where the guide had gone. Previously other group members had not rejoined the group for the same reason. The guide made a couple of comments making it obvious how fed up she was too. We missed the second half of the trip as we couldn’t locate the guide and when I emailed to complain and ask for half our money back, was told that as the trip ‘concluded’ we were not entitled. I wouldn’t book this trip with this company

We were with Christina- My favorite part aside from seeing the unique aspects of each site was seeing the overlap of cultures displayed in the historical buildings. Christina did a great job of pointing out the details that could be easily overlooked and helping us have a great picture of how everything came together. It was a great tour.
