On this tour we will explore one of my favorite parts of Zaragoza, we will walk through its ancient streets to discover in them the heritage that Roman, Muslim, Jewish and Christian bequeathed us. In each place we will taste a wine of the four denominations of origin of Aragon, which are Cariñena, Campo de Borja, Calatayud and Somontano, accompanied by local products, from its best vegetables, to its best cheeses and Teruel hams. We will understand the importation of winemaking in the region.

Our experience was fabulous. Our guide was fun and informative. I wish we had been able to do this tour earlier in our stay but I’m so happy we did it any way. Would highly recommend it.

Jorge was a fabulous guide. He tailored everything to our interests. Took us through the amazing Pilar basilica. Then four great tapas restaurants and 4 excellent wines. Five star, especially as an introduction to Zaragoza

Had a fantastic evening with Jorge! Jorge is a great guide who knows both the city of Zaragoza and its history very well. He is flexible and can adjust the tour to your (dietary) wishes. The tapas were delicious and the bars we visited were local and had a great atmosphere. At the end of the evening we knew more about Zaragoza, had full bellies and made a new friend in Jorge. Would definitely recommend!

Jorge knows his stuff - not only about wines and foods of the area - but also the history of Zaragoza. I learned many facts about the city; its start; its evolution over time; and the current state of Zaragoza's culture and government! Then we walked around the "Old Town", tasting selected wines from the zones around Zaragoza - Aragon, Campo Broja, Carinena and Somontano (hope I spelled them correctly) and Jorge paired them with a tapa from the bar that we visited. We had four stops - each of the wines were nice and the tapas were local and tasty! Fun time as we walked thru the "tube" region of the Old Town. It is well worth the visit - Jorge made the trip educational and enjoyable!

Thank you very much for your review Terry, your comments help me a lot. It was a pleasure to be on Saturday afternoon walking in the old town of Zaragoza and talking about wines, I also learned about the Oregon wine region, one day I would like to go and discover Oregon and and taste its Wines!!!! Good trip in Europe and I hope to see you again Cheers Jorge
