About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- F5619JNjohns0 contributionsA good time and a good tour!!!A really good tour with a great tour guide. It was more than I expected but I wished we had more time to see the church next to the Gaudi houseWritten 20 November 2024
- Q4795PUjenniferh0 contributionsFantastic trip and guide!!The Picos de Europa and Potes trip from Santander was fantastic. I was initially hesitant to book as I had never done anything like this, but it was one of the best things we did while in Spain. The whole trip was so easy and enjoyable. The guide was great, and gave us lots of information about all the places we saw along the way (in Spanish and English). He was also easy to get along, funny, and kept us on schedule. After the trip was over, I realized I left a bag at one of the locations and they contacted the cafe and picked the bag up for me on their next trip. Truly above and beyond, and it meant so much to me to get the bag back. We really recommend the trip and the guide!Written 4 November 2024
- Bonnie B0 contributionsGreat itinerary, great guideI signed up for a tour in English and only discovered, at the moment I was picked up, that the rest of the group was monolingual Spanish so the whole tour would be in Spanish. My Spanish was not good enough to follow most of the narrative and there was no possible way for the guide to convey all the information in both languages. She was very obliging but the tour operator had put her in an impossible position. That being said, the itinerary was excellent (though an hour free time in Santillana was too much for a very rainy day). The Altamira “neocave” is well worth seeing and the guide had a lot to show and tell about it. She was obviously well informed and enthusiastic.Written 28 October 2024
- J9163JOkatiew0 contributionsGreat tour to see a stunning view and the cavesHave seen a recent review which noted a bad experience, I’m glad to say our experience was entirely different and found it all very positive and a good way to see the caves . Good trip and lovely guide Gabriella who had a wealth of knowledge. We had a minibus to the caves and they added in a quick viewing stop on the way which was great( added a picture below). No pictures in the cave as this is not allowed . Lovely group and smooth transition. The tour guides speak amazing English, which we are grateful for as we cannot speak Spanish. But be mindful that the guides do not come into the caves as it says the tour in the cave is in Spanish. This is stated in the information so we should have brushed up on some Spanish before . However despite this, the guide made every effort to give us all the information beforehand and were able to enjoy the caves. We did multiple trips with this company and have had a great experience each time , so mucho grasias again!Written 25 October 2024
- rosselaine0 contributionsAmazing cavesPaid for this as a tour so that we got an English translation. Great to see the cave formations and hear some of the history discovered. Went to see both caves both have cave drawings dating back to 40k years ago.(various stages) Can be slippery as ground is wet. Amazing to see it. No photos allowed and you may not get to see it in a few years time as it’s a UNESCO site and we are contaminating the site by our visits.Written 25 October 2024
- J9163JOkatiew0 contributionsGreat tour and lovely guideThe tour was great and got to see lots of sights. The guide was able to discuss in Spanish and English and gave us details to everything happening that day. Lots of driving so be mindful of this, but that is needed to get out to the sights ! ThankyouWritten 25 October 2024
- J9163JOkatiew0 contributionsWell organised, great tour and tour guideThe tour was easy to book , well organised and the tour guide Pepe was great. The day started off as we were informed about our transport , we were out of the main area so had to pay a surcharge - however we were well informed of this before the day. Pepe picked us up and was great , the other members of the group were all Spanish and we were the only British. Throughout the whole tour however Pepe would translate for us and ensure we had just as good of a time. The tour around the park was lovely, ensuring we had an opportunity to see all the animals and a quick visit to the reptiles at the end. We also got to go on the cable car which was lovely. Pepe was very accommodating and even gave us some restaurant recomendations on the way around. It was good fun and the other members of the group were lovely aswell - despite us not being able to speak a word of Spanish! Thank you for the tour, it was great or what I should say is mucho gracias!Written 23 October 2024
- 490grants0 contributionsLovely SceneryThe trip is fantastically scenic, and the cable car trip is exceptional. Potes was a great place for lunch and to explore. The only downside is the driver did not have a microphone, so hearing him from the rear of the van did not happen.Written 15 October 2024
- pc0ughlan0 contributionsVery enjoyable not too longGreat trip, really enjoyed The guide was very knowledgeable Exactly the right amount of time Pick-up point in the morning was only 5 mins from our accommodationWritten 19 September 2024
- L4120XAricharda0 contributionsAwfulThe customer service was appalling, rude and unhelpful. The whole thing is a rip-off, save your money and don't bother going.Written 30 August 2024
- michelle_borley0 contributionsAwesome mountain trip!Excellent tour guide Jairo spoke brilliant English and gave a great insight into the area & tour. We were a small friendly group of 8 in a comfortable people carrier. We first visited a remote beautiful monastery. Next stop was Potes, a beautiful old village with quaint cafes plus a river to dip your feet in & cobbled streets to wander around for a couple of hours. Picos de Europa are amazing mountains. Breath taking views with the cleanest of air. This is a must see whilst in Santander. A full day trip. Go up the cable car and see the beautiful views & walk around to take it all in but make sure you leave plenty of time to get back on the cable car down the mountain as we had to wait 30 minutes & we felt so bad for keeping everyone waiting !!! We had no idea we would be waiting so long & initially we thought the queue was for the bathroom!!Written 18 August 2024
- slavaec0 contributionsFully horrible imitation of WildLifeBadly badly managed imitation of Wildlife. Absolutely ridiculous funicular routes- you spent twice of 3 times at least 20-40 min in the queue when change from Blue line to Pink one- be careful its mostly stupido managerial non-explainable trick in this place. Not seen animals- just hidden on distance. Not clean toilets- lines in poor kiosks. Absolutely useless Map - even not scheme- can’t read it properly. Overpriced - more €70 for two!!😳 never moreWritten 27 July 2024
- 304bradd0 contributionsWonderful experienceMy daughter and I loved this tour. Our guide, Jairo, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in cave art!Written 13 July 2024
- YeyiCanovas0 contributionsComillas, Gaudi and the Marquis of Comillas.Rafael picked us up exactly on time and reviewed the places we were going to visit in Comillas. He reviewed the history of the towns we passed by as well as their industries past and present. We love these kind of tours because that is what makes it richer. Comillas is a town not to be missed if in Cantabrias.Written 7 July 2024
- D4548CKclaireb0 contributionsFabGreat trip lead by Pepe with Carlos as our chauffeur. I learnt a lot from them about this part of Spain and the places that we went to were beautiful. I’d highly recommend!!Written 23 June 2024
