We had the most amazing experience. Fanny, our tour guide was a beautiful story teller with such rich insight into the history of Basque Country. She took us through all the local favourite Pintox places and left us with a list of places to visit, eat and drink. Overall Fanny set us up for an awesome time in San Sebastián and an appreciation for its history and culture.

Fanny was a fantastic guide as we toured the old town. She was a great communicator and her knowledge of the history was excellent! She was able to weave her stories and the history in a very entertaining way! The walk itself is mostly on flat terrain so easy for most people. We particularly appreciated Fanny’s suggestions for her favourite places for particular pintxo. She sent them to us via WhatsApp- so useful! We started with Adamo in Gos with the delicious tortilla de potato, cider while watching the waves break. It was worth the stroll along the waterfront and they were open already. Later we returned to the old town to savour more of her fabulous suggestions. It is just as well we have more time left in San Sebastián to try even more! We really did like the warm and directly prepared dishes Fanny suggested! You have to follow her suggestions!

We had a lovely morning with Fanny, who told us about the interesting history of San Sebastian. She was engaging and had a perfect command of english. We also got good recommendations of specific pinxtos which to try in specific places. We already tried a few and they were a delight! Highly recommend instead of a larger group.

We had an amazing private tour with our guide Fanny who shared so much wonderful history about San Sebastian and took us to so many amazing spots around Old Town. History, art and architecture and of course info about pintxos were all included on the tour! We originally had our tour scheduled for an earlier day but we were feeling under the weather and Fanny graciously rescheduled our tour for a couple days later.
