- Maggie C0 contributionsA perfect hike to start our holiday! It was a perfect hiking on a perfect day! Started out a bit windy and chilli but it just got better and better throughout the journey. We saw so many amazing views and learnt so much about the history of the area!Written 1 December 2024
- juliasE185QD0 contributionsBeautiful hike, great guideGoing on a nice hike was definitely on our Gran Canaria bucket list, and doing this one was well worth it! Beautiful views through a variety of landscapes and a nice picknick on top of Roque Nublo itself. We were with a small group, which was nice as it meant we got to ask our guide Miguel all the questions we wanted. Miguel was amazing too: very kind and very knowledgable!!Written 15 November 2024
- 526ariend0 contributionsGreat canyoning alternativeFirst time coaststeering, but with a great guide this was equally thrilling and breathtaking (in 2 ways) as canyoning!Written 30 September 2024
- HD2006Reviews0 contributionsGhostedGhosted me. I received an email confirming my trip and the meeting location. I showed 30 min early. After waiting an hour after the meeting time, I gave up and left. Called multiple times to no response. So disappointing. If they needed to cancel, then they should have notified me. Just a waste of my time.Written 17 September 2024
- Richard B0 contributionsAmazing experienceThis was a fantastic trip. The guides were amazing from start to finish. We had the youngest in the group at 9 years old and they were able to cater for everyone. The walking over rocks was great fun, and there is an element of danger throughout that makes it special. Again I cannot praise the guides enough. They were funny, attentive and always there with a rope when someone gets stuck at sea 🤣 Would absolutely do this again, and the trip offers fantastic value for money. Bravo 👏👏Written 30 July 2024
- Cedric V0 contributionsCoastering in Gran CanariaMiguel is a great guide and very entertaining during the activity. He listened well to the groups wishes and skill level and was great at aiding the people who struggled along the way. Recommended if you like some adventure. Vamos!!Written 27 April 2024
- Malcolm W0 contributionsVia ferrata - Degollada de Las YeguasMiguel met us at the Degollada de Las Yeguas viewpoint and issued us with all the safety equipment including backpacks, food and drink. The ferrata was a short walk from there and was a mix of traverses, climbs, ladders and at the end an optional Tibetan bridge and a couple of other very enjoyable optional surprises, which I will not spoil in this review. The grade was a K3 / C. If you are new to via ferratas then this is on the harder side for a beginner, as long as you have a head for heights, a bit of upper body strength and have a good general level of fitness you'll be fine. My wife who's 5' 2" managed fine but there were a few places where her lack of height made it more difficult. This is a fairly new via ferrata, you may not find much info about it online as it was built by Mojo Picon themselves and is only available to book through them. Our group of 7, some whom were beginners, completed it in around 3 hours, but this included plenty of breaks. Although it was 30°c that day it did not feel too hot as all but the 20 minute walk back was in the shade. Miguel the instructor was excellent. He was very enthusiastic, spoke very good English and had a good knowledge of the local area. Highly recommend this activity.Written 15 November 2023
- V517YUmatthiasb0 contributionsAmazingTruly amazing costering tour! Miguel did an amazing job. He let's you be your inner child, but is always there in case you need help. Fantastic tour. In case you're not comfortable with any part of the tour, you can always skip the obstacle. Great organization - they even provide snacks and water during the tour. Real professionals.Written 17 October 2023
- 129benp0 contributionsAn Unexpected AdventureWe were planning on doing the canyoning, but due to forest fire risk we did this coasteering tour instead. We had a fantastic time, with a great guid and would definitely advise this for anyone looking for an adventure.Written 9 October 2023
- Yuval S0 contributionsIf you like adventure - this one is for you!A very unique and energetic experience. Our guide, Miguel, was awesome. Extremely experienced and managed to provide each of us (total group count was 11) the attention we required. Does require good swimming skills and willingness to attempt some 'odd' cliff climbing, nevertheless, to put things in perspective, my 12 year old daughter managed 😀. As a family of 5 with 12, 15 and 17 years old kids - we had an excellent time which we will highlight every time we'll talk about our trip to the Canary Islands.Written 27 September 2023
- J4465KBsarahh0 contributionsGreat family kayaking trip!We booked this as a family experience. So glad we did. We were originally booked on a different day but due to the weather we had to go on a different day which meant our group was larger than usual apparently. It was hard work as the sea was still a little choppy, and I did most of the paddling (I was with my 10 yr old), so we were always at the back of the group. So if you are used to kayaking on flat water be prepared to put in the extra work. But the whole experience was brilliant. Would definitely recommend. Make sure you take towels for the beach - we didn’t but it was fine we just sat on the sand. You get a waterproof bag to put all your belongings in. There is a little picnic of nuts, bananas and cookies provided for the beach stop. Water is provided too.Written 3 September 2023
- B841ODamberb0 contributionsNice experience with a nice guideWe did the coasteering experience. The guide was so energetic and nice. He made us feel very safe. There are enough challenges and if you are scared to do anything, you don’t have to. I would definitely recommend this experience!Written 4 August 2023
- 13kjetili0 contributionsSuper tripWe were a family of 5 who joined. Very good information and service all the way and very nice guide who took care of everyone. The trip was exciting and challenging and very nice scenery. It is an advantage that you don't have to do everything if you don't want to. This is recommended.Written 28 July 2023
- larsvanpelt0 contributionsAmazing experienceIt was a really nice activity. The instructor was very relaxed, friendly and experienced. We really liked the trip, he challenged us to do nice jumps, but when someone didn't feel good about is there was absolutely no pressure. He knew how to challenge everybody, also the unexperienced. We really liked it!Written 17 July 2023
- DCManchester0 contributionsNice day out.Nice nice kayaking with my girlfriend in the south of the island. Stop off at a beach and did some snorkeling which for me was the best part. Definitely take your own snorkel masks as there aren't enough for everyone and you can easily spend the full hour snorkeling. There was loads of sealife to see in the water round the cliffs and rocks. You have to make you own way to the meeting point with cost us €20 each wat in a taxi from Maspalomas, keep this in mind.Written 8 July 2023

This was a new experience for us as we have never done anything like this before. It was incredibly enjoyable with a brilliant guide. Everything was included in the price along with snacks at the end of the canyoning. Miguel was fun and thoroughly explained all the safety aspects to make us feel safe and secure when abseiling down the waterfalls. He took pictures along the way and sent these a couple of days after the tour free of charge. There is a small hike to the canyons and a steep hike back up to the car, so I would recommend a change of clothes before hiking back up which can be kept in a waterproof rucksack that is provided by the guide. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to go on an adventure and being in untouched nature.

This experience was INCREDIBLE! It was a birthday present from my girlfriend and neither one of us were ready for how fantastic it was! The whole time was great fun, pure adrenaline and laughs all around. Miguel (the guide) is a professional in every sense of the word, super charismatic, funny and knows how to make the whole group feel safe and comfortable always while encouraging those willing to be adventurous. 100% would recommend, fall short of available compliments for how amazing this was.

The people of Gran Canaria themselves should always take advantage of having something so fantastic on their doorstep!

I was really excited to take part in this but it didn't exactly go as planned. On the confirmation email at the time of booking AND the reminder email the day before, it explained to meet at Decathlon and from there it would be a 20 minute ride. We arrived early and waited but no one showed up. I eventually called the number to see what was happening and the owner's responses was "well you're not at the right meeting point"...ok well that's where you told us to be. He sent me the a new different meeting point but it was over 1 hour away. At this point, we had already drove 45 minutes to location #1 and to then be expected to drive an additional hour plus was just not what we expected to start this day. I asked him if we could cancel as I found it misleading that we booked with and he sent us incorrect info (if I had know this I would have booked the following week when I was staying very close to location #2). He refused the refund, but I think what mostly disappointed me was the lack of any ownership for the mistake of sending incorrect information to us twice. He kept calling it a "computer glitch", but it seems like they just didn't update their info in their booking software. So if you book direct, be sure to double check the location info. I am giving an extra star because he offered for us to rebook to another day, unfortunately due to other bookings we weren't able to reschedule.

What an amazing experience! Miguel our guide was filled with energy and excitement which made our adventure more fun. He was very encouraging and attentive, which made us feel comfortable, especially at times when my partner was apprehensive. The canyon itself was beautiful! Heads up, good fitness level required for the hike back to the van.

We had an amazing time canyoning! Miguel was really friendly, fun and helpful. He made sure everyone had a great time and gave us different options of how we could slide down sections of the canyon. The abseiling was really good fun, particularly abseiling down the waterfall! I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who likes a bit of adventure. Thanks, Miguel!

Ended up with big disappointment! Operator changed time and location of pick-up one day before the event by mail which I had not read until waiting for the pick-up for half an hour. Poor communication caused 140 USD spent on nothing! Operator not responding to my mails concerning more specified clarification on what happened and my request for partial refund.

We really enjoyed the day, Miguel came with bundles of energy and made the experience special. At any point when a member of the group was unsure, he was calm, reassuring and encouraging. I would highly recommend booking Mojopiconia ventura if you intend to do this excursion, you won’t be disappointed. Make sure you take sun cream, you take your wetsuits off before the hike back to the van and it is hot and exposed.

Miguel, our instructor was amazing. Very informative, made sure we were all comfortable and safe, and of course taking the necessary covid measures.
The trip started with us at the meeting point and drove up and through the mountains about 20mins. Roads were slightly windy so if you get car sick, made sure to take something!
At the top, you’re given your equipment including wetsuits, harnesses and helmets. The wetsuits were more for protection against scrapes (on rocks or branches) but my partner and I brought our short wetsuits and were comfortable.
From there we started the trek down the mountain and through the the trees, over rocks and sliding down boulders.
It was great fun abseiling down waterfalls!
After we did all the fun stuff, we stopped for some snacks and made our way back up the mountain - took about 30-40mins to hike back up.
VERY IMPORTANT to wear good shoes with good grip. The stones on the treks and as you rappel down can be quite slippery. There are also steep hikes back up. Some even on the cliff’s edge, but as long as you pay attention to your steps, you’ll be just fine!
Make sure the shoes you wear are ones you don’t mind getting dirty, wet or even ruined! My partner and I each bought cheap 20Eur pair of shoes from a beach shop that we’ll leave behind at the hotel. Decathlon (sports shop), at the meeting place, was open when we got there. If we had known we would have gotten better shoes for the same price or cheaper!
This experience is suitable for beginners. An amazing experience that we will definitely do again!
Thanks again to our guide Miguel for taking us on a fantastic adventure!

Great, fun and adventurous trip. I can't praise the guide enough; he really was so knowledgeable, patient, caring and very funny.
The activity is quite strenuous and at times hazardous, within reason, so bare in mind it's not a walk in the park. The hike out of the canyon was one of the hardest I have done, and I've hiked all over the world. It's steep, hot, you carry a backpack of wet gear, and you have to at times climb with your hands whilsts dodging the cactis plants on very narrow paths or along cliff edges.
Overall it's all part of the adrenaline thrill and enjoying nature and the landscape. I recommend highly.
There was a bit of misunderstanding over meeting point as Get Your Guides (where I booked) instructions of where to meet was a different side of the island to where the activity instructions meeting point was. And I was anxious and disappointed that the several emails I sent and two calls that I made regarding this were not responded to. Thankfully I took the right chance of picking correct meeting point, and I had an awesome trip.

Hi, I’m planning to buy a ticket for this activity to join the trip on Friday but I have one concern, does this trip include swimming or hiking through deep water?! Cause I can’t swim so I need to know in advanced:)
Thanks

It is explained in the description i think.
But they have a different departure point for winter and summer time.
This has something to do with the availability of the water streams.
