Great way to see the island
We are a family of 4 with two teenage boys. We were picked up from our hotel at 7.30am and the taken to a central rendezvous point to meet with other jeeps. From there, we headed off to the mountains and were taken down some very bumpy roads but with fantastic views. Our driver, Elias, pointed out all the interesting sights on the way and was very entertaining and friendly, the boys loved this part of the trip. We stopped at a cafe for a coffee and then onto Fataga for lunch. We didn’t fancy the buffet, so instead went into the main restaurant and ordered pizzas, which were very good! The Aloe Vera factory was really interesting, but the product were all quite pricey. However, we did splash out and bought some miracle creams 😊 Really good day out and a great way to see the beautiful island of Gran Canaria. Dropped off back at hotel by 3pm, so managed to get a couple of hours by the pool before dinner.

      Great Day out
Had a really good day on this tour. Picked up from hotel, party size only 6 per car so comfortable not like others with 8 in the car. Interesting points and information provided on route. Plenty of stop off points for photos. Lunch stop provided but not included in the cost. Safe and well managed

      This is a must
We had a fantastic guide with Jan, I hope that’s how you spell his name, originally swedish, but very much a man who’s educated himself in the history of Gran Canaria. He made the day very interesting and educational, his attention to detail of the island was very impressive. I’d highly recommend this tour and if so highly recommend jan as a tour guide. Thank you for a great day out.

Unsafe, Incompetent, and Disgraceful: This Company Left Me Stranded as a Solo Female Traveler – AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
If you value your safety, well-being, and the quality of your holiday, steer clear of this abysmal company. They left me—a solo female traveler—stranded with no concern for my safety, well-being, or even basic customer service. This is not just an oversight; it’s a gross display of incompetence and negligence that could have ended disastrously. After being picked up for the tour, we waited over 30 minutes for other tourists to join, making it clear the company was more interested in maximizing their schedule than keeping to the itinerary. We were instructed to be back at the bus for the next leg of the tour at 12:20. However, when I arrived on time, the bus was gone. Yes, you read that correctly—GONE! They didn’t wait until the stated time, didn’t do a headcount, and made no effort whatsoever to ensure every single passenger was accounted for. This company simply abandoned me. I waited 5 minuets after the pick up time thinking that the tour bus was maybe late or stuck in traffic, but became worried as I couldn't see other passengers waiting. Frantic, I called their customer service at 12:25 (just five minutes past the supposed pick-up time). No answer. Called again at 12:26. No answer. When I finally managed to speak to someone, they outright refused to come back and pick me up, even though there was still plenty of time to rectify their mistake. They also refused to arrange any other form of transportation for me to return to my hotel, leaving me completely stranded an hour away from where I was staying. The so-called "resolution" offered by customer service? Wait four hours for them to complete the tour and swing by to get me on their way back. This was not an option, as their utter disregard for my safety had already shattered any trust I had left in this company. To make matters worse, they had the audacity to try to blame ME for being left behind, claiming that everyone else was there and that I called only at 12:40. Well, guess what? I have the evidence: call logs, timestamps, and photos proving I was present on time. Their refusal to take responsibility shows how little they value their customers or even basic human decency. Thanks to this company’s total lack of organization and compassion, I was left vulnerable, panicking, and at the mercy of strangers. Fortunately, a kind tourist guide at an information desk helped me get to a bus station, where I eventually made my own way back to the hotel—something this company refused to assist with. I lost an entire afternoon of my holiday and missed one of the highlights of my trip. This was my last day, and I had waited two weeks for this tour, only for it to end in disaster. I have since read other reviews and found this is not an isolated incident. This company has a history of leaving people behind and then blaming the victims. Their responses to negative reviews only add insult to injury, showing no willingness to learn or improve. The fact that they continue to advertise on platforms like TripAdvisor is shameful and reflects poorly on those platforms for endorsing such a dreadful business. Bottom line: AVOID this company at all costs. Their complete disregard for customer safety, refusal to take accountability, and dismal customer service will not only ruin your holiday but could potentially put you in danger. This company should not be allowed to operate any tours, let alone serve customers who trust them with their time and safety.

      Amazing day
Had a great day our guide was Gabriel and very good speaking all languages and very informative telling us us about everything. Buffet lunch wasn't worth 15 euros and it was cold not sure how long it had been put out before we arrived. Would definitely recommend this trip for seeing all the different sights.

Wow just look at that scenery..
Exchange lounging by the poolside for a day of breathtaking scenery. If you’re in this part of the world on holiday you’d be mad to miss this. Our guide, Jan, was a great driver and a super tour guide, full of fun facts and details of the islands history along with its fauna.

      not for children under 0.90cm
we came with our 1yr old thinking she would be able to get on the kids rides, unfortunately she isn’t able to get on a single ride which of course left us feeling awful. minimum height 0.90cm for the small rides she was allowed into the baby section of the soft play for 20 minutes. we paid extra when we booked our hotel stay at HD parque cristóbal so please if you have children under 0.90cm don’t waste your money!

Great, but accept bumps, cliffs and dustyness
Overall a great trip, with some amazing views included, i would recommend it though take water, suncream and a hat. Also note this is a 4x4 canyon trip so expect it to get bumpy, dusty and pretty hairy in places. Some shapperoning for lunch and places to buy, but not too excessive or forced on you.

Avoid at all cost, dangerous and non English speakinh guides.
Worst trip ever. Guide doesn't speak any English at all. Got left behind, jeeps broke down, parts fell off the jeep, down right unsafe.

      It's dusty but amazingly beautiful.
We wanted so that bit different and weren't unhappy. We were picked up from our hotel and traveled to a meeting point where all the jeeps assembled. A quick briefing and a photo (which you can purchase and we did), then it was off. Up twisty roads (you get used to them here) with some photo stops. Then it's off road for a bit... Its dusty. Personally we didn't find it too bad but you do need to be prepared for it and perhaps think about finding a bandana or bringing out a covid mask (as someone did in our group). Once back on the road it's a stop in Fataga for a meal (extra cost) but we didn't feel pressured so just got soft drinks and sat outside for 1 hour which we enjoyed. A quick drive to an aloe vera plantation and a few testers before heading back. All in all a great time and experience.

      Very disapointed
Honest opinion : - no crocodile show (with no explanation why the arena was closed) - too many people - people working in the restaurant were not very kind ...

Wear clothes that you don't want to wear again during the holiday as you will get dusty. Also take bottled water.
We booked this tour via an agent based down near the beach in Playa des Ingles. I think it may have been cheaper booking direct - but we were happy due to the convenience of using the agent and the process was easy and we were given all the relevant information. We were picked up in a jeep direct from our hotel at the agreed time then drove to the main rendezvous point with all the other jeeps. Note that the drivers all speak a variety of languages - so you may end up with a driver who doesn't speak your language. On our trip there was a mixture of tourists from UK - Germany - Spain and Netherlands. So at each stop you just meet up with the guide who speaks your language. For us that meant our driver didn't give any extra commentary during the drive because she only spoke Spanish - but she was friendly enough so we didn't see this a problem. The trip itself take you up into the mountains of the island with a few stops along the way for either toilet break or a photo opportunity. The English speaking guide was really fun - engaging and informative. Our favourite bit of the trip was where we went off road and it gets a bit bumpy - really fun but unfortunately for us this is actually only a very short section of the trip. The views were really spectacular and for me totally unexpected for the Canary Islands. You stop at an Aloe Vera farm which is OK - Yes they do try and sell you their products but I think that's to be expected after all that's how they make a living - and you can always say no. The lunch stop was OK - nothing special. The dinner is an optional extra - but realistically we didn't really have time to find an alternative place to eat. The offered buffet wasn't too expensive and included drinks so we were happy to pay. Overall I would recommend this trip as something a bit different to do while on holiday and you do get to see a little of the sland beyond your hotel walls.

Our guide, Ana answered all our questions, made the tour fun & interesting and didn’t rush us when taking photos. This was great value for money with 4 rum tasters at the end of the tour and the discount at the on-site shop a real bargain. Would definitely recommend 👍

Guided tour of the distillery with tasting of excellent rum at a low price (we paid 5 euros each on the hotel website). Brian, our guide, was very kind, knowledgeable and professional. The barrels signed or painted by famous people tell the story of a resilient company, capable of innovating and investing. The only advice is to include water in the cost of the tasting so you can appreciate the differences between one tasting and the next. It would be useful to be able to purchase extra tastings (of prestigious rums aged 30 years or limited editions) directly at the counter or at a dedicated cash register so that you can enjoy the experience without queuing in the souvenir shop and product sales. Highly recommended especially if you go as a couple, you can share 8 different tastings using the 4 tastings each. The prices of rum offered in the shop are also good. Definitely recommended experience

Nice, entertaining tour! Our guide spoke very good German, the distillery is easy to get to and has a visitor parking space. You should think carefully about whether you want to drive yourself, as you can try up to 4 types of rum per person at the tasting afterwards! The prices in the shop for the types of rum we tried were either the same as the supermarket or even up to 5 euros cheaper. We took 4 bottles with us.

Highly recommended for a small activity!

An excellent trip around the Rum Factory. Full of god information given to us by an excellent tour guide. To see barrels of rum purchased by the stars some time ago still in the aging process. The tasting was magnificent as you were allowed 4 glasses to try 4 different Rums. They all tasted very good. A superb experience.

Interesting tour - showing and explaining all the stages of the process. This includes some films taken as some processes only take place at certain times of the year. Final part is the opportunity to choose 4 drinks from a selection of rums and rum liquers.
Shop is good and reasonably priced, for example the rum we bought here was cheaper here than in duty free.

We had booked the tour in German and were the only ones, which means we got a "private tour" :) everything was explained in great detail, from the history to the production, everything was included. The tasting afterwards tops everything. You can also buy everything on site in the shop if you want. Very nice tour, highly recommended!

We had read about this and since I am a rum lover, we drove from the south, Mogán, to Arucas. It was an educational tour. And the final tasting was delicious. You were allowed to taste 8 different types of rum. If you wanted to taste the most expensive rums, you pay €7.00 per glass (keep in mind that you still have to drive after this 😂😉)
Afterwards we bought some rum in the shop for ourselves and for the children at home.
    It was all worth it!
