About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 264kh0 contributionsPerfect on a cruise day in portA fabulous experience. We had a small group of 5 and our guide, Amanda, was very informative and attentive. The walk is not too difficult and doesn’t need any special equipment, if you can easily manage a 3 mile walk across fields and a couple of gentle hills you’ll be fine. Be prepared to get dusty and sand in your shoes though. We did it as a self-organised excursion on a cruise ship stop in s/c de la Palma. Very easy to get the 300 bus from right outside the port to El Paso - €1.35 each way and it takes about 40 minutes. Much better than any cruise ship tour!Written 13 July 2024
- lombokmike0 contributionsAmazing Volcano TourExcellent tour, our guide was knowledgable, friendly and passionate about the area. We would happily go again with these guys on another tourWritten 15 March 2024
- iaino20170 contributionsNew year new experienceWe took this trip today & itvwss great. Saw pilot whales & dolphins & it was nice to see where the new lava flow from the recent eruption enters the sea, creating new land on the island. Very informative and friendly staff, we were the only two English on this trip but the guide was fluent and only too happy to ensure we were informed. Many thanks Iain & Anne.Written 2 January 2024
- JDTripAdv0 contributionsDolphtasticVery friendly staff. Perfect boat. We had lovely weather. We saw 10 Bottlenose dolphins in 2 sightings. Our captain did a great job getting us close to these beautiful creatures. We could not dwell with them for more than 10 minutes each time according to the excellent contact rules. Sadly, no whales. If we had seen whales, then 5 stars ... this is a little nitpicking though. All in all a lovely day. The port too is fab. And a very nice beach for swimming. Cheers.Written 4 March 2023
- sabinan8080 contributionsPoor customer service with no sightseeing of any animalsTerrible experience! On our trip we had very big big waves, which made half of the boat to be sick, and in the end we haven’t seen any animals (even if on the website says 100% guaranteed). Even the staff on the boat admitted the fact that there were very big waves and usually no one is sailing on a day like that for pleasure. The only reason why I don’t give 1 star is because we have seen the volcano and some house caves which were interesting (that’s when they admitted the sailors won’t go out in the sea on a day like that). We have been promised to receive an email on the same day with a link to rebook the trip, not even today, 5 days later after our trip, we haven’t received it (the email has been checked and confirmed from the beginning by a staff member). When I explained to the staff member, and also emailed the manager, that we won’t be able to come again, as we had a flight back on the following day, they only thing they said is “sorry, we can’t give you any money back, you should have booked the trip at the beginning of the holiday”, an explanation that doesn’t make sense to me because I’m not from la palma to know when I should book trips and what trips to book, I was a first time tourist in la palma, I would have been happy with at least a partial refund, as we haven’t received the service we’ve been promised. So, good customer service doesn’t mean anything to them. Not only we paid €115 for the trip , for 2 adults and a child (to make us all sick), but we also had to hire a car to travel from south of the island, fuencaliente, to them. I understand that we’ve been very unlucky on that day to see the animals, but for the customer service we received on the boat and after the trip I wouldn’t recommend it.Written 6 June 2022
- happyhollyno10 contributionsA great way to see some hidden parts of the islandWe really enjoyed this trip. It was fun and extremely informative and we learnt a lot about the island. All the other buggies where driven by Spainish but we had a lovely Dutch translator called Rhianna who explained lots of things to us at each stop. Highly recommendedWritten 7 October 2020
- 999agnesp0 contributionsNice excursionLovely trip, with very competent crew. Liked the way they took care of/respected the life of the whales (witch we saw a lot of - and dolphins) Very nice that the crew served drinks (non alcoholic) Can only recommend - VERY MUCH.Written 28 January 2020
- Laurian K0 contributionsWas a little bit dissapointingThe boat is nice, the lady is kind. The trip and looks at the islands and caves were great. But we didn't see any animal. At the short swimstop you can also leave your snorkeling mask at home. The lunch was fine, but we had to pay for the wine and coffee during the lunch?Written 20 November 2019
- boyanap4450 contributionsMany dolphins, nice swimWe saw many different kinds of dolphins and could go for a refreshing swim. It's a great activity with small kids. The crew is very nice and speaks good English. Only downside is the transfer bus. Many turns and rapid acceleration for 1 hour... Our son had to puke. We would highly recommend to get a rental car instead. There is also not much price difference so definitely worth it.Written 4 August 2019
- Ann-Kathrin B0 contributionsBook it!!!Its worth every cent.We saw a lot of dolphins and even different kinds of them. The guide spoke spanish, english and german and was in the best mood ever.He was well informed about the dolphins and gave us interesting informations. You can even go for a short swim in the ocean (10 min).So dont forget to bring your badingsuits/shorts. We saw the cueva candelaria and went into the cueva bonita.Just an amazing trip.Loved it.Written 4 August 2019
- royanddiane20170 contributionsA Great Day OutEvery Holiday we go on we like to take a boat trip and this was one of the best we have been on. A lovely traditional comfortable boat, efficient crew, small number of passengers so never felt overcrowded, a simple but nice lunch and Dolphins as well, a good day out. Picked up at our hotel bang on time, taken to the port no fuss and started trip on the” Bussard” with a nice glass of Cava. Plenty of soft drinks and water available throughout the day and reasonable priced beer as well. Crew spoken good English and provide a good interesting commentary of where we were and what was going on and a bit of history as well. Stopped to have a swim off the boat if you wanted too, followed by lunch, then a hunt for sea life. And we did see Dolphins which was great. A good day out and a full 4 hours at sea, no problems at all fully recommended.Written 8 July 2019
- Marjolein v0 contributionsNice excursionsVery friendly crew. We took this trip with our one year old and could bring the stroller on board. Plenty space in the shadow. A short stop to swim in the ocean (for us not for the little kids ;) ) We saw a group of Dolphins very close to the boat and the crew took the time to stay nearby so everyone could take a good look. Do take a pill if you get Seasick often because the boat is not that big :) good price for a 3 hour trip.Written 4 June 2019
- jandido0 contributionsVery friendly crew, spacious boat, very well explained. At the correct time we sailed out and on our way we were explained what we could expect. Last week they saw some special species of Whales and lots of dolphins. Every member of the crew had their task. Spotters were from the start looking through their binos to find wildlife on sea. Very quickly we were surprised by a big school of dolphins. We had our time to spend around it and nothing disturbing-very well done. After about 20 minutes we set off to another place. Unfortunately we didn't see any whales but another large group of other species of dolphins. Some coming out of the water by welcoming us or probably protecting their homespot. After awhile we sailed to the cave where on the program it says we could spend some time swimming. Unfortunately the crew didn't ;let us swim. After visiting the cave we just sailed back to harbour and were there a half hour earlier than expected. The tour should last 3 hours but we spend just about 2,5 hours. In my opinion the crew could do some more extra work to spot wildlife like whales but nothing of this. Some easy swimming or sailing around for another half hour would have been appreciated. Altogether okay because we some two different kins of dolphins and two big sea turtles.Written 1 June 2019
- davidecA898UF0 contributionsGreat way to visit la Palma! We booked online, all very fast and transparent. It’s really a great tour; we and our kids where thrilled for what they’ve seen, and also the interesting information that the guides tough us! It’s not a dangerous tour, nevertheless it’s fun to drive and great to see all volcanoes and lava flow! It’s a must do!Written 23 April 2019
- Bernard W0 contributionsExcellent hike down into the calderaWe took the guided walk down into the caldera de taburiente. It was a very well-organised walk and on a beautiful sunny day the experience was fabulous. The walk is 16 km, mostly downhill on gravelly tracks, so concentration is required. That said, one of our group with 2 artificial hips was able to finish the walk. I recommend strong hiking boots although younger members of the group managed with trainers.Written 11 February 2019

I booked this trip through trip advisor. This review isn’t about the winery.
I was supposed to of been collected from the village at 12:30 for the tour and nobody turned up.
I tried calling the local office and left a voicemail and no one has contacted me back.

The guide was knowledgeable and kind. He answered the questions that we had and it was a great way to spend a little over an hour. Enjoyed by all in our party. I had heard of malmsey wine from old english; it was good to learn about it and taste it.

The winery is good, the exhibition too, visit to the volcano, explanation of types of grapes, etc., it took a little longer than normal, a rather poor tasting, a little bit of wine, quite little and a very quick visit to the winery, We almost don't even see it, in short we have to make it more commercial, taste more wines and explain its nuances.
