Awful experience
Sep 2021 • Friends
When we booked this trip we were expecting a chilled out cruise watching the sunset and hoped for the best when it came to dolphin spotting. However, this is the opposite of the experience! The boat is controlled by a group of lads who seem to enjoy showing off how fast and wild they can drive the boat for a couple of hours. As someone who gets sea sick, this was an awful experience! I assumed others were enjoying the experience, however everyone seems dissatisfied with the trip! We never saw any dolphins. Prosecco was served in a paper cup and cake was average. I think this trip is a tourist trap!

Amazing evening
We did this trip on our last evening and so glad I did.

The boat was full but not overcrowded at all. We all sat together easily.

We were very lucky and saw loads of Dolphins it was just amazing.
We then had to zip off quickly to see the sunset which was stunning.

Cava and cake was lovely
Only downside was the transfer as the driver was awful and we were hanging on

All in all a spectacular evening would reccomend

Amazing trip, helped by calm seas and an abundance of dolphins
Having read a few of the negative reviews we booked this trip with a sense of trepidation. However, we had an amazing trip, with the exception of the coach journey to and from Puerto del Carmen.

The crew on the boat could not have been more helpful and informative and we set off with a full boat- but it was not overcrowded.

The boat is designed for speed so be prepared for a few bumps especially if the sea is choppy.

We were fortunate to see pods of Atlantic and Common dolphins and this took up a good 90 minutes of the trip.

The captain was knowledgeable and the other members of the crew always prepared to help out.

An amazing trip capped off with a beautiful sunset. Highly recommend but if you are expecting a sedate romantic sunset cruise this is not for you.

Lovely trip! We were lucky to see dolphins. The crew were great, they had a fish finder and contact with other boats to track sea life down. The transfers seamless. It was cold so take extra layers but well worth it.

Don’t Believe The Lack Of Hype
Dec 2019 • Couples
My wife and I were really apprehensive about the trip due to a number of very negative reviews that we had read. We needn’t have worried.

We were collected on time, we were able to sit together on the boat, although some of the passengers tried to make it difficult for late arrivals.

Although we didn’t see any dolphins, we did see Manta Rays mating. The crew travelled a long way looking for sea life, but without success. Such is nature!

The cava was drinkable and the cake seemed popular too.

The crew, especially the multi-lingual guide were excellent and even handed out blankets to those feeling the cold.

My only slight gripe was regarding the coaches, as they needed signs on them saying where they were going. We nearly ended up on the wrong coach!!

Nice boat ride
Booked this trip as my Wife wanted to see dolphins in their natural environment and not in a swimming pool! As others have mentioned the boat is quite fast and the sea conditions make for a bumpy ride. That said my kids (11/15) and I enjoyed this element of the trip and never once felt in danger or that the boat was being captained by a "mad man". Unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins but you pay your money and you take a chance with nature! The sunset is viewed from just outside the harbour in calmer waters and whilst there you are given a glass of Cava and a couple of small slices of local cake. The crew are very friendly and offered my Wife a blanket during the trip as she was getting a bit cold. I would have rated this trip higher had we seen some dolphins but it wasn't for the lack of trying.

Hard to explain
I am not usually negative when writing reviews. I have been on many boat trips and this was the worst experience I have ever had. We arrived later so myself and wife couldn't sit together, has we left the harbour the wind started to increase which made the boat very unstable has in other reviews the captain didn't seem to care and just speeded the boat up a concern was there was about 50 people on board with a captain and 1 crew the further we went the rough the sea got.
We didn't see any dolphins which I understand is not a certain. At this point myself and wife stopped to feel ill the crew member just passed me a sick bag she never asked if I was ok for the entire trip. My wife was also very ill.
If you are booking this trip and you have back and neck problems please do not go also if you have young children I would advise another trip. Hopefully the company that owes the boat will read the reviews and act on people's concerns.

Nightmare
Sep 2019
This was, and without sounding too dramatic, one of the worst things I've experienced.
First off, we didn't see any dolphins although this was absolutely not the company or crews fault.
The skipper drove the boat like an absolute mad man. We were soaked by waves coming overboard and hit the waves with such force that people were screaming. One of the crew members actually went flying and fell over, causing the boat engine to be cut out whilst the skipper checked his crew member was ok.I don't know his name but one member of the crew was very kind and caring to me, offering a blanket and sick bag which came in handy.
We had a drink in a plastic cup and 2 tiny mouthful sized cakes right at the end of the trip, but by that time I couldn't wait to get off that boat! Also, sunset was viewed from the harbour and not out to sea as we expected.
We may have just had a bad one off experience, but I for one will never ever do this trip again.
Just for reference, we were on the boat on 17th September 2019.
