          Lanzorote grand tour
Our tour guide Paul was fantastic translating between Spanish and English all day long and his English was fantastic, couple of funny jokes along the way aswell. The driver was very good too (especially through the single track volcanos) we was given times to return to the bus on stop offs I felt they were a bit rushed (15,20,25 mins) i would have liked a few mins longer because if there was a que in the shops u had to rush back to the bus. Also if your a tall guy 6ft or more you will have no legroom when sitting it’s not to bad though as you are on and off all day long so get to stretch your legs at the stops. Overall 5 star trip from me

          Very expensive tatt
Tour guide nice and Friendly. But the place itself nothing special. Very hot up in the mountains 34 that day. Expensive cafes €4 for a can of coke. The market is just tatt in my opinion. The same stuff you see all over the island. Fake bags fake wallets awful toys. Rude sellers mainly Indian and they weren't happy with bartering. Prices ridiculous. Friend picked up a bag you would get in primark for £10 he said €55!!! Then was angry when i asked if he was joking!!! Wish I'd known the same market would have been 15 minutes from our hotel in maspolamas Saturday would of saved on the coach fayre.

          Lovely trip!
Harbour beautiful. Lots of market stalls, just look around as prices vary! Plenty of choice for souvenirs. Guide was brilliant, obviously loves the island and had lots of interesting information to give.

          Nice experience and stress free
Very nice experience as we don't have to worry about transport at all. The tour guide and driver were very nice. I recommend this tour if you don't want to drive and if you want to visit a lot of attractions in one day.

          We all liked it
Lots of things to do, the extra fee for the camel ride was worth it. Great sights, got quite a few photos. The guide was very knowledgeable and informative. The driver was very smooth as well.

          Friendly guide , good experience
We were greeted with a pleasant and cheerful manner by the guide. He made us feel very welcome and told us the itinerary for the day. He was full of knowledge about the island and spoke in several languages to suit all passengers. It did not take long to get to the market and the place was an absolute gem. We walked around the harbour side and stopped in a cafe for a coffee admiring the views. The market it self was very busy but had lots of variety. We got picked up after just over three hours and had a lovely ride along the scenic old road passing through some of the coasts.Thank-you very much for providing us with a good experience :) Definitely recommend

          Great excursion
We had a really great time, there was lots of information provided by the tour guide, and value for money. Be prepared for a long day we were picked up at 08:30 and dropped off at 17:00. Only negative was lunch stop, we didn’t enjoy however this is optional.

          Great locations a bit rushed
The National park was great however the geo thermal experience was almost torture as you’re only there 20 minutes, they cook food from the heat of the earth and you don’t get a chance to eat it. Jameos Del Agua lava tube cave is amazing and would have liked to spend more time here. Could have been structured better to have lunch at these points of interest instead of a restaurant at a bus meeting point.

          Market day in MOGAN
The coach was on time and communication from the tour guide was spot on.He gave a travel guide in several languages and was very knowledgeable about the area.He was very helpful and pleasant to everyone. We got slightly lost on our way back to the coach(2 older ladies 🤪) and he was very calm and told us not to worry via phones.Would definitely recommend and Mogán is very pretty with lots of market stalls. They’re quite expensive but they do take some hard bartering.

          Great way to see Lanzarote
What a great way to see the island of Lanzarote by going on the grand tour with Travelonworld I highly recommend it. You get the breath taking scenery and also the option to do the camel ride for an extra 11 euros.

Great way to see the island
We booked the Grand Tour through First Minute Transfers and was picked up a short 2 minute walk away from our hotel by coach. As we travelled up and down the island the tour guide gave us lots of information about the sights and where we intended to stop. The driver was fantastic at navigating through the tricky, narrow, steep roads and put us at ease. We were picked up at 8.45am and arrived back at our hotel for 5.30pm, so it was a long day. You do spend most of your time on the coach as you travel from one end of the island to the other, but that is to be expected. We first stopped at the National Park of Timanfaya for a little while. The views were amazing and we watched 3 experiments to show just how hot it was a few inches under the stones. It felt like we could have been here a little longer and seen a little more but after that, we were back on the road. The next stop was the camel rides, which I have written a separate review for so will not go on too much. However, I would not recommend this, the camels are not cared for, the men did not care for them and just want to take your money - to put it bluntly, it is just cruelty. We then went on for a lunch break, which was in a secluded area with only the buffet as an option which had been chosen by the vendor, and a very small cafe that served only ham and cheese sandwiches. We opted for the sandwiches which were quite nice and as there was no other option. We then moved onto the lagoon which was amazing. Such incredible views and so much to take in, from the green pool of water, to the amazing different rocks and cliff looking volcanoes - it was a shame we were only here for 20 minutes. We then went on to a vineyard where we were given a small tester of wine. I think it could have been a better experience if there was someone there to explain more about the vineyard, the grapes, the way they bottle the wine etc. Otherwise it just felt like a quick toilet break and we were off again. The last stop was by far the best - Jameos del Agua. What a beautiful place, like a paradise island. It was peaceful, relaxing and I was stunned by the beauty. We were there for about 45 minutes, which did seem like long enough to walk through the caves, enjoy the views and stop by the gift shop. Overall I would recommend this excursion but a few little tweaks could make it better!

          A must tour in Lanzarote
Highlight of my holiday to Lanzarote. There were so many excursion available but glad we chose this and it was the best experience ever. Never thought volcanic mountain would be this great, and the thermal experiment was so amazing. Camel ride and lunch was extra and it was mentioned on the details. For the price i did expected lunch would be included but €12 pp was well worth it as the food was very delicious. It was buffet and drinks were included. Camel ride was €11pp, again good experience but it was not good value for the price. If you’re visiting Lanzarote then this trip is a must.

          Would highly recommend!
I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone of any ages, also if you want to get to know the history of Lanzarote. Our tour guide Thomas was absolutely brilliant and very knowledgeable about everything to tour had to offer. It is a full day of travelling around the island, but, in my opinion, it is very much worth it! You get to see the true beauty of the island and the landscapes it has as well as facts and history of the volcanos that make up the island, the history of Lanzarote, the vineyards, the lagoons, Timanfaya and the fire mountains! Your lunch is included which consists of a buffet style lunch at a restaurant you are taken to. This trip is worth every penny, we were however a little disappointed in the vineyard as you are told you can go wine tasting when in reality you are only given the smallest amount of either a sweet or dry wine and in the first place we went to to see the green lagoon you had to pay 1 euro to use the toilet, so I would suggest going to the loo before you go! Everywhere else you go on the trip is free to use the loo! All in all, we had a brilliant day! Got picked up at 8:50am and was back at our hotel for around just after 4pm! Definitely go if you have the opportunity to!

Excellent trip . We left Playa Blanca at 9 am and returned at 2:30 .
Initially you spend an hour on the coach ( including swapping coaches) before arriving at the Timanfaya national park .
The camel ride was interesting (€11euros each) followed by 3 experiments outside the restaurant. Very entertaining.
We then had a journey through the landscape with supporting pre recorded commentary which was excellent .
Finally we stopped for wine tasting which was ok and gave time for an ice cream before setting off back to the resort
        Highly recommended

        Tips
Don’t take very small children as a long time is spent on the coach so they get restless
No time for purchase of food or snacks
Sitting upstairs on the double decker bus gives great views but difficult to hear the commentary at times
Don’t go by car as very long queues to get into the car park

Very nice tour guide. Short stop in the café, was OK. Then camel ride for those who wanted to. The actual tour in the volcanic area was very nice, the bus driver was great, driving the giant bus along the narrow street ;)
The big advantage was that you could get past the line of waiting cars. The cars would otherwise wait 1-2 hours to get in...
The only annoying thing was collecting all the participants on the way there and then again on the way back.
All in all it was nice, but ultimately the big tour would have been better, you would have seen more.

This was a very enjoyable excursion, it was organised, with an easy and prompt pick up, and the guide was very informative and friendly.
Camel ride was well worth doing in my opinion. It cost €11 per person but it was a good laugh and the camel behind us was really cute nudging its head into my shoulders and feet.
The vineyard stop wasn't really worth it but we got some nice views and it didn't hurt to try some wine and look around the souvenir shop.
The stop at the cafeteria was quite short. By the time everyone ordered food and drink it was time to leave again so I'd recommend not ordering a full lunch- we waited until the end of the tour (2:30pm) to go back to the hotel and have lunch there.
At the national park, the geizer demonstrations were very impressive. It was very windy at the top of the mountain so hold on to your hats, but the views were lovely, unlike anything I'd seen before with miles and miles of solidified lava.
The volcano tour itself was really impressive, and the driver did a great job at navigating the narrow windy roads safely. We stopped along the way for some nice views and photo opportunities. One review recommended sitting on the right hand side of the bus for best views, but I thought that views on both sides were very good.
Overall a nice break from the beating sun at the beach and it was lovely to learn more about the history and culture of Lanzarote while seeing some incredible sights. Well worth doing.

We went with a 6 year old on this tour and was maybe a little long on the bus for her but she loved the camel ride (11 euro each extra) and generally has the attention span of a goldfish anyway.
Picked up at a agreed bus stop we went first for the 20 minute or so camel ride. There was a bar alternative! Then went back on the coach to the demonstration area. I had seen some online advice that we would be better taking a car but glad we ignored that as the coaches bypassed an enormous queue of cars. The demonstrations were short but interesting and then back on the coach through some tight mountain roads to see craters while there was a recording giving an explanation of the volcanoes with some dodgy music.
The final part was wine tasting which was little more than a toilet stop.
I have this a 5 star review mainly for Michael the tour guide and Melvig the driver. Michael presumably does this a lot but was informative and funny throughout without making it seem like a chore. Very impressive. Also Melvig didn’t crash.

Thank you for sharing your experience! 🌋 We're happy to hear that despite the bus ride being a bit long for your 6-year-old, you all enjoyed the camel ride and the tour overall. It’s great that you appreciated the interesting demonstrations and stunning crater views. We’re especially pleased that you enjoyed Michael's informative and funny commentary, and that Melvin's driving skills made you feel comfortable throughout the tour. We’re proud to have such a great team! Thanks for the 5-star review, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon! 😊Kind regards,First Minute Travel

A wonderful experience and highly recommended. Our guide, Paul, was excellent, and our driver, Roberto, navigated the challenging route with impressive skill.

Paul provided a range of relevant and interesting information about each part of the trip and he gave us clear timings for each stop.

We were picked up on time. It is about an hour from Costa Teguise to the National Park. The coach was comfortable, air-conditioned and pleasant, with spectacular views, so hardly a chore.

We enjoyed the camel ride. It's short but surprisingly comfortable as the saddles mean you are seated on either side of the camel. The camels are seemingly well cared for. You can pay cash or card for the camel ride but need cash if you want the photo.

The medium dry white wine at the winery was much enjoyed by many people on the coach. There is limited time at each stop for food, which is useful to be aware of.

All in all, worth every penny and a very enjoyable 5.5 hour excursion (we were one of the first stops so early on the route to be collected and virtually last to be dropped off). Highly recommended and really glad we purchased the tour.

The tour itself was great. Micheal our guide was funny, informative and friendly. We went for the camel ride add on for €11 each, they take you up around the base of a volcano, leading to great pictures and the camels seem well cared for and looked healthy.
The demonstrations onto of the volcano were great, and the way they cooked the food over the heat from the mountain was impressive.
The wine tasting was a tiny serving but very yummy, we bought a bottle for €12, and I believe there was also beer and cheese available, and a nice gift shop to browse.
My only slight criticism was the large amount of travelling before and after the actual tour stops due to the amount of pick ups and drop offs and the distances between, for over 150 people. We spent over 2.5 hours of the 5 hour tour just driving, so be prepared for this.

My only feedback for the tour guys would be to maybe have smaller coaches with less pick up/drop offs, but other than that we have a great time and we are glad we did this tour, just be prepared for the amount of time spent travelling all over the South of the island before and after the tour.

This is a great option if you want to see a lot of sights. The tour takes you to the top of the Timanfaya volcano where you can see really cool demonstrations of how hot the volcano is. In a tour bus, you get to skip the huge queue of unmoving cars waiting to get a parking spot and go straight in, and you also get to travel the roads around the national park to see the volcanoes up close, which members of the general public in cars can't do. For these reasons, it's well worth booking a tour for this attraction rather than going on your own. There isn't a whole lot to do at the volcano other than visit the gift shop and get a meal, so i didn't feel like we missed out by only having around 20 minutes to explore, but if you want to eat at the restaurant, you won't be able to do that with this tour.
Before you get to the top of the volcano, you also stop off for an optional camel ride which we really enjoyed.
We also got to visit a winery on the way back and sample and buy Lanzarote wine.
Across the whole journey, we had an amazing tour guide giving us fascinating information.
We felt that the half day tour was more than enough time to learn about the volanic landscape and take in the views.

Comfy coach, prompt pickup and convenient drop-off.
Our guide 'Tony' was excellent, blending history, geology, agriculture and humour with the occasional existential question.
Coaches get priority over cars at Timanfaya, meaning minimal queues. The journey itself is fantastic and the stopoffs worthwhile. I was travelling with my 11 year old son and the duration was ideal for him. We both said we'd have liked a little more time to take in the destinations, but understand the fast turnaround in the national park itself.
Camel ride is an extra at a reasonable enough 11Euro per person at the time of writing.

If you want the volcano fired barbecue at Timanfaya, you'll want to go independently.

Happy with the value and service throughout.

this trip was super fun! our tour guide antonio was hilarious! we went to visit the camels, went through the national park and get some free wine to taste. i would defo recommend - top top is to make sure you get a seat next to whoever you are going with as the bus can get quite busy and to make sure you stick to it! 10/10 exactly experience, thank you!

Easy to book - picked up at hotel in Playa Blanca - double decker bus was full and had multiple stops - had a mix of tours on the bus so had to stop to let off people going on other excursions so they could swap buses. After that we started our tour which was really interesting. Enjoyed the dynamic Volcano tour (can’t do it in your car you have to be on a tour bus) the road cut through the lava fields and up to the craters of volcanos giving you a panoramic view of the material park - informative commentary throughout. Camel rides optional extra, wine tasting at another spot. Because this was half day no stop was more than 30mins which sounds hurried but the pace was fine. Got back to hotel 2pm. Worth the time to see and learn about the Island holds attention of teens better than a full day…
