This was a great way to tour the island! It’s a little two seater electric car (the back seat is a little tight, but not horribly uncomfortable). We stopped at a banana plantation, a small town where we got some delicious coffee drink, and a place where they make pottery the original way they did back in the day (without a wheel). Our guide Dani communicated with us via CB radio throughout our trip and was very knowledgeable on all things Tenerife. I love that he talked a lot about the history of Tenerife prior to the Spanish arriving. I would recommend this tour for everyone big and small. The only thing I would recommend is including transportation to and from hotels, as the meeting place is not easy to access with public transportation (bus). We had to get a taxi, but other than that, a wonderful tour indeed!

This was such an amazing experience. We really got to see some amazing parts of this area and completely off the tourist trap. So much wonderful information and great sites. Our guide was fabulous - really informative and friendly - Dani. We highly recommend this for something a little different and good fun.

A real must if you are visiting Tenerife. As a group missed their booking, we had a private tour. Dani is a great and fun guide; honestly, he cannot be better. We really enjoyed the whole tour!

Amazing experience, I recommend anyone who is visiting Tenerife to do it at the beginning, as the advice and recommendations of Daniel for the rest of the trip will be extremely useful. First, we were surprised to find out that we were having a private tour, as Daniel chose to reserve one day for each couple, to personalize the experience and speak the preferred language of each. Second, we felt no rush at all during the whole tour, and Daniel gladly let us enjoy and take our time at every step coupled with lots of explanations in perfect English and French, and very nice stories about the history of the island. Riding these twizies is a very fun and enjoyable (and safe) adventure, and Daniel had always some interesting fact or story to tell while we were on the road, in the restaurant, or pausing to do literally anything, it was a learning experience from beginning to end. I could easily compare this experience with visiting a country with a very close friend that has been living there for many years. We could feel the passion and the love for this beautiful island. Forget about Segways, ATVs or all the other tours.. this was literally the best part of our stay in Tenerife!! Daniel is a great guide and knows the Island very well. Also we learned so many new things and discovered places far off the typical tourist things. Thanks a lot Daniel! We enjoyed this tour and the Twizys super much!!:)

We are just back from a fabulous tour with Daniel. Worth every penny, and the personal touch that you won't find on a tour bus. Excellent knowlege of history and local culture and stops along the way to meet people that share the same passion and enthusiasm for Tenerife and ecology not to mention fun in the sun in the Twizy! Just returned from my Twizy safari and had a great day. The guide Daniel was very knowledgable about Tenerife and showed great passion for the island. Driving a Twizy was very easy and great fun! The tour lasted around 4 hours and was a great way to see the island. I only went out with one other couple who like me really enjoyed the trip. Good on Daniel for setting up this venture and I hope he will be successful in these difficult times. 👍

Myself and my wife went on the Twizy Safari today ( Nov 2nd 2020) What a great experience, we really enjoyed the various places we stopped at along the way, and learned so much, not only about some of Tenerife history but also about the humble banana. Daniel who owns and operates the tours is very knowledgeable, polite and professional and a really nice guy. Definitely recommend anyone to give this tour a go.

And not just the superb karting-like driving experience these 2-meter-long battery powered fully ECO friendly little gems can offer on the flat-as-pancake crooked serpentine roads above Puerto de Santiago with astonishing view to the southwest part of the island. Daniel, the tour guide will also enrich your knowledge with very interesting stories about the history of Tenerife (don’t expect the dry prosaical gibberish we get used to in mid-class sightseeing tours, this is something different) while you enjoy your local coffee speciality -Barraquito- resting your eyes on the ocean thousand meters below you. And while I was already satisfied, the real fun was just about to begin: visiting local banana planting sight, checking the oldest places of Tenerife, get familiar with local manufactures, eating tapas, venturing through solidified rivers of lava and learning and tasting and experiencing many hours long the very nature of Tenerife while doing so -all included-. Thanks Daniel and Niki for this unforgettable memory. Ps: I would advise to book this trip to the beginning of your holiday, as you learn so much about the island and the culture, you will understand much better everything in Tenerife.
