About
Our first stop will take place at the imposing cathedral of Astorga. Free visit to the temple following the explanations of an audio guide in Spanish, included in the excursion. The Cathedral of Astorga is one of the main monuments of the Leonese path of the Jacobean Route. Inside the temple you will find artistic jewels such as the choir stalls or the main altarpiece, a Renaissance-style masterpiece. Next to the cathedral is the Episcopal Palace of Astorga. Wait a minute, haven't we taken the wrong bus and traveled to Barcelona? It's just that the forms of the palace remind us so much of Catalan modernism... Don't worry, there has been no confusion. we are in the province of León, the only thing that happens is that the Astorgano Palace is designed by Antonio Gaudí himself. After your tour of the modernist building, we will return to León. (Does not have an accompanying guide from León)

Good tour but it’s in Spanish!
This tour is in SPANISH!! This isn’t clear from the details provided and when I questioned it I was told I should have booked another tour. I would suggest the operator updates the wording to make clear it’s a ‘Spanish speaking tour’. The driver spoke no English but luckily another passenger could translate the information he was providing on León as we drove. The wine tour itself was handled very well as the leader did her best to speak in English where she could. It was interesting to try the different wines and tapas, and driving the golf buggy adds a fun dimension.

      Extraordinary experience
Natalia was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. She was able to translate enough information into English for us to understand what we were looking at. We went on the 90 minute tour and found the whole experience awesome inspiring. We visited on a quiet day with only 4 visitors on the tour.

      Out of this world!
The most extraordinary stalactites and stalactites I have ever seen! Do not miss this! The 7 rooms are all astounding and the lighting that they have done, makes it pure theatre.

      Out of this world!
Great driver, he drove really well and was very kind, even though we spoke no Spanish! Definitely worth someone else doing the drive because the views are amazing so it’s great to look around. The caves are out of this world, I have never seen anything like it before, in other caves around the world! A definite Must-See, if you are visiting Leon!

Beautiful monuments, especially the cathedral complex and home of the Bishop of Dali. City very careful and culinary, the baked maragato, spectacular.
