Then, head deeper into the countryside toward the French border. Next, stop at the ancient spa town of Ax-Les-Thermes. Discover some natural fountains, soak your feet in the healing waters, and enjoy the free time to browse local artisan shops and explore this traditional French village. Meet your guide back at the bus, climb aboard, and travel to Andorra. Travel through the scenic Pyrenees Alps on route to Andorra la Vella. Along the route, cross the Pas de la Casa, a high mountain pass with some ample photo opportunities. Descend into Andorra, stopping off at a mountain valley to explore tiny stone huts that dot the mountainside and an ancient Roman church stands. From here you head down the valleys into Andorra de la Vella. This will be your last stop of the day, but you have enough time to do a little bit of duty-free shopping and grab a quick bargain. Begin the return to Barcelona in the late afternoon, pausing for a drink in Coll de Nargo along the way and finishing the day at a central location in Barcelona.

Very informative and entertaining. Even if you’re not a Dali fan, this trip has gorgeous views, a great lunch trip, and a trip to the coast. Nuria knows everything there is to know about Dali!

    Fantastic!
Very informative if you are interested in Dali. Our guide Nu was amazing giving us a lot of information she was also attentive and professional in every way with clear instructions. Loved having a smaller group. You won’t regret the views or the glimpse into Dali’s personal space.

    Our favorite tour in Barcelona!
Our trip to Montserrat with Pablo was excellent. He was fun and informative. The Monestary is beautiful inside and listening to the chior was ethereal. Pablo was essential in laying out what options we could successfully accomplish in our time frame and we had a pleasant walk with breathtaking views because of his recommendations. Highly reccomend!

Was a nice experience. Took us to some great spots, mind-blowing. However free time could have been longer. David was amazing and a passionate catalunian, who went out of his way to inform us about the culture and region, cheers!

    Excellent tour!
This was an outstanding tour! David, our guide, did a great job giving interesting historical information and making suggestions for the use of our free time in each place. Each village was unique and had its own significant points of interest. Besalu was really charming, with a beautifully preserved bridge and buildings. David gave us excellent explanations about the history of the village, the Jewish quarter, and other details of the buildings. He also got us there early so we could enjoy it without the crowds. Rupit was much smaller and was beautiful and unique. It is much more “off the beaten path” and had a scenic path with lots of birds singing and pretty flowers. Travertet and the cliffs offered spectacular views. David’s driving was very skilled on the roads, which were narrow and curvy. It was a really enjoyable day. I highly recommend this tour!

    Great tour of medieval villages
David was a great guide! He's very knowledgeable and helpful. In addition to the normal planned tour highlights, he quickly picked up on interests of the people in our group and pointed out special aspects and details for each individual. His passion for Catylan history and playful attitude were infectious to our whole group! I highly recommend this tour with David

    Beautiful Catalonia Scenery
This day trip was absolutely gorgeous and really was a wonderful way to see the countryside and medieval villages of a beautiful part of Catalonia. David is an awesome tour guide with keen insights into the best sights. He is also quite entertaining with excellent historical knowledge and sense of humor. This will be one of our best days on this trip.

Good tour but needs some tweaks
Enrica was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide and the driver was very safe. Although it was a very long day, the tour was most enjoyable. I would suggest that they offer bottled water on the tour. My only complaint was that it was a somewhat long walk to the bus from the office and, even worse, they let us off (because of traffic?) early instead of delivering us back to the Plaza Catalunya. We needed GPS to find our hotel.

    Amazing!
Our tour guide Rod, was amazing! Very friendly, helpful and he made the tour fun! His knowledge of the history and architecture of Sagrada Familla and the history of Catalonia was beyond exceptional. Definitely would tour with them again. The one downfall was the unexpected charge for entrance to the Sagrada Famillia when I assumed the price I paid for the original booking included the entrance.

First let me say that Arnau was a great tour guide. He was very informative and great to engage with.
The reason for 3 stars was that my expectations and reality was totally different.
First we went to Baga to grab some food. We didn’t do really any exploring, just food/drink if you want it and then a quick walk around town and then back on the bus. The town was cute but nothing blew my mind away.
Next was Ax le Themes. Again, a typical small town but nothing that was amazing. I dipped my feet into the outdoor hot spring, which was the highlight of this town. We had one hour to explore/get lunch, but it was too early to get lunch (we got there at 11am to leave at 12pm). So you just walk around in a circle endlessly, as there was really nothing to look at.
Then we went to Andorra. The pull over bus stops were great and the highlight of the whole trip. Yes, the 2 quick pullover stops to look at the beautiful scenery was the highlight. Once you got to Andorra, you again had an hour, but all Andorra is, is a shopping haven. If you wanna shop for name brand clothes and luxury items then this is the place for you. But I’m not a shopper, so again o walked around aimlessly for an hour. We were told we can get food there but every restaurant had lines out the door so 1hr was not enough time to get food. Luckily I brought a sandwich on this trip so I was able to eat.
Again Arnau was great but don’t be fooled by the pics. The pics represented are mostly the bus pull over stops. If you want to shop for name brand stuff then I highly recommend this, otherwise it’s not worth it.

Hello, Thank you fo taking the time to send us this review. It looks like the day was not what you hoped for, and to be honest it doesn't sound like you got the best out of it. I will look closely at this tour again and see how we can improve the time at each stops, and to make sure that you get plenty of time for lunch. It is one of our most popular tours, and there is a massive amount to fit in to one day.To see three countries all in a single day is quite a feat, and we will continue to see how we can make the day even better. Best regards, Robert

We spent 275 Euros to drive all the way to the French city for the guide to say it was snowing and we could not enter the city. There was no fore warning that if it was snowing we would not be able to enter the city. When booking the agency actually said “great choice of day it will be snowing and will add so much charm to the French city when you visit there..it will be a highlight!” We ended taking pictures in front of a bathroom before we crossed back over into Spain. No alternate cities were offered to visit so basically we were on the bus for hours until we arrived to Andorra where we saw one street. Total scam and extremely boring…unless you like staying on a cramped bus for five hours straight this is the tour for you! Do not recommend. WASTE of MONEY!

Hello, I am really sorry about your day. However, I don't think it's very fair or accurate. The amount of snow took us by surprise, and so we could not drive all the way to the original planned town in France. Instead, we went to a closer town just across the border. I'm not sure why you took a picture outside of some public toilets. There are plenty of pretty place in the town, and a variety of local cafes. You also forgot to mention the first stop in the charming medieval village of Baga. It's a great pity that you didn't mention your disappointment on the day, so we could have found a solution or partially refunded you. I am so sorry about the day, but we honestly did not try to trick you. Regards, Robert

The views were amazing, even from the bus. We had a few stops along the way for photos. All three places we visited were nice but there was not much time for exploring.

The tour was 12 hours long and, as others stated, it was mostly driving around. We were barely able to go to the toilet and have a bite to eat at each of the locations. This tour should either be longer or something needs to be dropped.
The guide was not actually guiding, he talked a bit in the bus and when we’d get out, everyone would go their separate way.

The driver lacked focused and it wasn’t very safe to be in the bus.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me. I will look carefully at how long we spend at each stop and to check with all of our customers if they think the same as you. There is a lot of driving, but you should definitely have enough time at each stop to make it worth it. I am sorry if you did not get enough time at each place to really enjoy it. I had high hopes for this tour. It started with a meeting place that was extremely difficult to find (especially at 6:45am in the dark). There is no obvious signage or flag or sign board. I’m a savvy traveler and was using google maps and walked by it twice in feb pitch dark.

Due to snow in the mountains, the itinerary needed to be changed. The company bought us all coffee and pastry at the alternate stop which was nice.

But the stops themselves? Not worth the hours and hours in the bus. The small towns had zero to recommend them - no shops, no history, nothing picturesque.

And Andorra? I had in my mind a shopping Mecca. What a huge disappointment. I have more variety and quality at my local outlet mall.

The tour bus? So small and crowded. I felt like we were packed in like sardines. The heat was faulty and it was like we were in a sauna. Many people were complaining and all that could be done was to crank the A/C to overpower the heat

Net-net: longest 12 hours I’ve spent on a long time. We all were joking that it was the tour from hell.

Save your $150 unless you want to spend the longest 12 hours of your life crammed in a bus with about only 4 of them for some mediocre scenery and shopping.

Do the Girona /Costa Brava tour instead.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand that you had high hopes for this tour and appreciate you letting us know your experience didn't quite meet them. We apologize that the meeting place was difficult to locate and thank you for noting that we provided coffee and a pastry when our itinerary was altered due to weather. We've noted your feedback about the stops being underwhelming and Andorra not living up to its expectations, as we strive to make every tour enjoyable for our customers. With any tour of this type, there will be some driving involved in order to see three countries in one day - however, we understand it can be quite uncomfortable when it's in a crowded bus with faulty heat so again, we apologize for this inconvenience. We hope you consider giving one of our other tours a try; we'd love the chance to show off all Catalonia has to offer! We hope to see you again, Robert

This was a very intimate tour (we rode in a very comfortable van as a total of 7 people, which was a nice surprise. I was expecting a tour bus). The places visited were everything you would expect: a sleepy village in Spain, a ski-resort town in France, and a 'bustling' capital of one of the smallest countries in the world in Andorra. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable (although he did drive a little too fast).

As you would expect from driving up and over mountains, the roads were filled with hills and turns, so be prepared to be in the car for long stretches of time. Overall, my family and I highly enjoyed the tour, and would recommend to anyone who wants to see something unusual while in Barcelona.

We had anticipated this being a long day and had prepared for this.

The stops in Baga, France & Andorra we’re all welcome as it’s nice to stretch your legs even if only for a short time.

Our guide Rod was a pleasant and knowledgeable man, who knew a lot about the area and was only too happy to answer any questions.

What turned the day sour for me was when we stopped on the way back. I was asked what I would like to drink, water, coffee or wine by the guide, I replied coffee and proceeded to go to the loo.

I was not made aware these drinks was bought for us at anytime and the booking states that food and drinks are not included.

I returned to the group and was invited to collect my coffee, i did so and proceeded to quickly move away from the group as I was smoking.

At this point the guide Rod, made a sarcastic comment “thank you” whilst my back was turned, and to the whole group standing around.

I returned to Rod and offered to pay for the drinks immediately (a tea and coffee for myself and my partner) as I thought we were going to be billed anyway to be refused and informed they had paid.

Please don’t make sarcastic comments behind your guest’s back, I didn’t know that Rod paid for the drinks as I was at the loo whilst they were brought out.

I left a €10 tip, but please take this as payment for the tea & coffee, not for what was a brilliant day slightly spoiled by ones attempts to embarrass a paying customer.

It is a long day and a long drive, especially for the guides, maybe too long and tiring towards the end.

Hello, I am so sorry that you felt Rod was being sarcastic. I can absolutely assure you that you must have misunderstood him. Out of all of our guides, he is probably the most polite and attentive. It is not at all in his nature to make undermining comments or to try and belittle anyone. Please believe me when I say that he is 100% genuine. However, I am still so sorry that you felt this way. Our tour guide, Gloria, and our bus driver were very knowledgeable and took great care of us on the trip. However, it was just a lot more time on a bus than my partner or I really thought about. We read reviews and details about the trip but they didnt really mention that you would be spending the majority of your time on a bus.

The little towns in Spain and France were beautiful along with the drive being beautiful, but by the time we got to Andorra I personally was very bus sick (and I'm someone who doesn't ever get motion sickness) from the extremely curving roads and we both honestly found Andorra underwhelming.

Overall, we found some moments of joy on the trip we would just really recommend thinking through if 2 hours of visiting towns if worth the 12 hours you spend on a bus.

This was my first time in Europe and I was quite hesitant about using a paid tour guide service. However, Gloria was the sweetest and most informative guide I could have asked for. She kept me laughing and gave so much great information the entire time, on top of just being adorable. She took the time to walk us through every little town that we stopped in to give us pieces of history while interjecting little funny comments on each one. The entrance into Andora is absolutely breathtaking and not an experience you should pass on. I would highly recommend this company and would highly recommend Gloria. Be one of Gloria’s people! Gracias, Gloria!

This was an excellent way to see the beautiful scenery of the Catalonian countryside and Andorra. You stop in a few historic and significant towns which now mostly depend on the skiing industry and tourists. You get to go right to the center of Andorra after seeing the beautiful peyronie's. I recommend this tour if you like to see what the countryside looks like, are interested in history or want to knock some towns/cities off of your bucket list.

Our host Arnol was knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend him as your guide.

The trip waa going well until we had to spend an hour shopping in the main shopping area of Andorra.Andorra is quite a boring place looking somewhat like a large ski village offering duty free shopping.
Sadly on a cultural tour we were left to fill in the time in an ugly noisy shopping mall. Why would I come to Spain to do what I can do at home? The usual shops selling shoes dresses shirts etc. Why mix visiting beautiful villages with a shopping mall?
We finally left and headed back to Barcelona. The traffic was almost at a stand still so our guide who had been quite ok was also very tired. The whole group was tired. She decided to talk all the time on the way home. What we needed was peace and quite but she was on a roll with a microphone that was cutting in and out. Then just to add to the commotion she linked her mobile phone to the microphone and Freddy Mercury was belting out Barcelona at about 90 decibels.
I asked if this was necessary and the guide’s response was it was compulsory. The punters obviously needed to be reeved up before leaving the bus.
The final last straw was delivering us to a location away from the original pick up point . This was not something I had been alerted to and I had no map with me. I eventually walked 6 blocks and through many wrong paths in the Gothic area when I was dead tired and arrived at my hotel at 7.30 pm having started at 6.30 am
I wouldn’t have been so tired but for the shopping mall ‘experience’ which I could well have foregone
The first thing I did on returning to my hotel was to cancel a future day trip as I didn’t want another episode like that one.

Hello, I have read your review very carefully, and I wanted to respond to you straight away. On this tour, we try to fit in as many different things as possible. You saw and did so many things that day, but you have made no mention of any of those other things, instead focusing solely on one very small part of the tour. You made no mention of the charming medieval Catalan village we visit set in the beautiful scenery of the Cerdanya mountains. You forgot to talk about the beautiful French spa town we take you to, where you enjoyed a traditional French lunch and dipped your feet in the hot natural springs. You also didn't say anything about the stunning drive over the high mountain pass with incredible views over France and Andorra. I thought you might at least have explained how we get all of your passports stamped at the border crossing. Instead, you only point out the last part of the day in the capital of Andorra. Even this is not that accurate. We take everybody to the main centre of Andorra, which is also the commercial centre of the country. Andorra is famous for its tax status, and the shopping and tax free outlets are a big part of their economy. It is only right that we take people to see another aspect of the country. We explain that there are clean toilets in the shopping centre, but we in way tell people to spend all their time there. Most people will wander down the pretty shopping street, do a little bit of shopping or just relax. We have an hour here, which I think is not too much out of the day. Not everybody likes to just see villages. On the way home, the guide tries to keep everybody entertained and informed. I am sorry if they talked too much. Finally, I think the playing of the Fredie Mercury song is a nice little touch, as it is a very emblematic song about Barcelona. I mean, who doesn't love Freddie! The last thing is that we dropped you off near the post office, which is about 5-10 minutes from where you started. We are restricted to where we can go depending on the traffic of the day, but the guide always tells people where to go to get back to the starting point. It's actually down the very same road. I'm sorry that a very small couple of things spoiled your day, but I don't think it's fair to rate the whole tour so badly because of it. Thanks, Robert
