About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- johnlF8660KB0 contributionsGreat tour, great guide, v nice ebikes! Our ride, 13 people + our guide Katerina Sept 9 @ 10 am, was terrific. The guide was knowledgeable, articulate and funny, mindful of her riders and kept us orderly and safe as we wove through dense traffic and people. At each stop she gave us excellent information in an engaging manner. Bike was great, staff at shop were efficient and patient. The only difficulty was finding the location - there was a delivery truck parked in front of the entry, and no prominent sign.Written 29 September 2023
- Imme d0 contributionsGreat way to explore the cityExcellent way to discover the city, nice tips and nice facts and not too much talking. The route was very nice and beautiful, guide was kind and knew to answer all our questions.Written 8 February 2023
- Chris V0 contributionsExcellent tour and super guideWe had a most enjoyable tour with our excellent Czech guide (ziti?). She gave excellent and detailed descriptions and the history of all the many places where we stopped. She was patient, needed give the number of red lights on the route, and came back if there was a possibility of people being lost. We had been to Barcelona many time before, but we visited many places that we did not know about and learnt more about the places that we visited. A great way to see BarcelonaWritten 15 November 2022
- Maugie F0 contributionsCycle tour in Barcelona, a mustSacha was a really nice guide. It would have been easier for us to meet in office...and it would help if guides wore red cyclotour tee shirts to identify them. I would prefer a stop at cafe/bar...not in PARC.Written 19 October 2022
- Marc S0 contributionsPerfect introduction to Barcelona! This is a great way to see different places of interest in Barcelona and to be introduced to the city. The balance between biking and stops with information is just perfect. My guide provided me with a great overview of the history of the city together with information about the most important and interesting places. His English was very good and it was clear that he knows the history of Barcelona very well. I absolutely recommend this tour if you like to bike a bit and are interested in a bit of history!Written 14 November 2021
- SokiTravellerAustria0 contributionsHighly recommended tour with extremely friendly and keen guideToday we went on this tour with a very friendly and well english-speaking guide. It was our first day in Barcelona and during this tour we saw all the important sights (gothic district, raval, different squares, Barceloneta, arc de triomph, Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila, Casa Batllo,...) and gained an overview of the city. Our guide had a huge knowledge about the city and told us about its history, its districts, the sights and even where to get the best paella and tapas. The tour lasted about three hours and you really don‘t have to be very fit because there is only one little hill up to Sagrada Familia. The guide was extremely keen and answered all the questions we had. All in all I really recommend the tour because you get a lot of informations about Barcelona which you wouldn’t get if you drove on your own.Written 17 June 2021
- Laine Č0 contributionsExcelnt bike tourIt was realy good tour. We realy liked it. Guide was very entusiastic. He wanted to show best places in Barcelona.Written 16 October 2019
- Damien H0 contributionsAwesome way to tour Barcelona, ask for BouBou was a great tour guide. He was very patient and very knowledgable about Barcelona and the many attractions. We had a great time seeing all the sights and the bikes were awesome. This is the way I will do tours from now on...electric bikes. You get to a lot more a lot faster rather than walking!!!Written 26 August 2019
- 0BethB00 contributionsAn gentle, enjoyable way to see the cityI really enjoyed my tour of Barcelona. The meeting point was easy to find (you can also ask the Hard Rock Cafe staff) and it's helpful that no reservation is necessary. I was very lucky because I was the only person on the tour; I was grateful that they did not cancel the tour and instead I got a private tour for 22 euro - great value! The tour takes in parts of the old and new city, including the Sagrada Familia and other Gaudi architecture. I particularly enjoyed seeing the city park and fountain. My guide, Bou, was very good - what he lacked in English he made up for in enthusiasm. My bike worked fine and the pace of the tour was very gentle - while you should be capable of balancing on a bike, you don't need to be fit to participate. The relaxed speed gave me time to take in the streets and the architecture as we cycled, and I appreciated that Bau chose places to stop that gave the best views of attractions. Overall I'm really glad I chose this tour and I'd recommend that you choose it too!Written 22 August 2019
- McDubsons0 contributionsGreat way to see BarcelonaMy partner and I did the 3hour bicycle tour around Barcelona and it was definitely worth it. We met at The Hard Rock Cafe and covered a lot of ground on the bicycles. We saw Gaudi buildings, Sagrada Familia, the beach, the old town and through the park, in additon to little plazas and everything else along the way. Simon was our tour guide, who was full of local knowledge and history, telling us everything we needed to know about the Barcelona sights along the way. The bicycles were easy to ride and we were given a small bottle of complimentary water. It was a very hot day when we did the tour and would recommend taking extra water and a hat. We would definitely recommend this tour of Barcelona.Written 20 August 2019
- wendywrites0 contributionsFantastic tour, good for kidsOur guide, Moritz, was excellent! We learned more from him than any other tour so far. Saw a great variety of sights and the kids enjoyed it, too. Good pace for all ages. Highly recommended!Written 4 August 2019
- 35ted0 contributionsFun dayOur family of five (kids ages 11,13,15) had an amazing tour with our guide Maurice(sp?). He was very passionate about the city and its history. It was a perfect overview of the city. I would highly recommend this tourWritten 10 July 2019
- 485mojo570 contributionsCity Bike TourHighly recommend this tour as a great way to have an overview of the sights of Barcelona, some of the history and points of interest. Our guide, Moritz, was delightful. Very knowledgeable, passionate and engaging. A 3 hour tour that was value for money.Written 2 July 2019
- johnsA1424FO0 contributionsGreat tour of the cityWe had a great time on our tour with Moritz. He took us to some great sights around the city including a number of Gaudi buildings, the beach, the Gothic Quarter and the Sagrada Familia. Biking really is the ideal way to see Barcelona. There are a lot of streets that you simply can’t see from the bus. But on a bike you can easily go down the narrow streets and maneuver around the tourists at a fantastic pace. Our guide was very good at explaining the different types of bike lanes that we were on so that we were always safe. The bikes we rode wear traditional Dutch flights that are very upright and comfortable.Written 27 June 2019
- Sian F0 contributionsExcellent way to see the cityThis bike tour is a great way to see the city- it's easy to follow the guide and much of the tour is in bike lanes. Bou was well informed about the city's history and we stopped about a dozen times at various sites. I wouldn't arrempt to ride around the city without a guide - some areas are very busy- and we wouldn't have seen on foot in days what we saw in about 3 hours. Good value for 22 euros.Written 12 May 2019

We loved our tour. Pau Martrat was our guide and he went above and beyond to make the tour special for us. As a local Catalonian, his understanding of the city’s cultural and historical significance was just what we were looking for to gain a better understanding of the area. We love sports too so he brought us to the top of Montjuïch to see the Olympic stadium and surrounding area. We will recommend his tour to friends.

I highly recommend this bike tour. We did the Highlights of Barcelona three hour tour. Pay the extra and get an ebike! Our tour guide Lilly was very knowledgeable and safety conscious. And, biking in Barcelona is easy with their very bike friendly bike lanes. We enjoyed the tour and got a real taste of the city. I recommend doing this so you can see what might be interesting to go back and visit.

My wife and I really enjoyed the tour. The cycle pace was fine and Alejandro was a friendly and well informed guide. We had a number of short stops where he told us details about local sites including practical information like where the nearest public toilet was. His recommendation to visit Casa Vicens Gaudi was great, we walked there afterwards and loved it. Happy to recommend the tour to others.

Not as good as expected. Barcelona is meant to be a cycle-friendly city, but it really isn’t, it’s crowded and traffic is a nightmare. The bikes weren’t a good standard, and mine didn’t adjust properly making it uncomfortable. Our guide was ok, but our group was too big as we had up to 15 people making stopping difficult, and didn’t have many chances to take good photos or learn about the city.

The tour was a highlight of our trip! Our guide, Katharina, was fabulous. It's a great way to explore Barcelona. We recommend going on a tour early during your stay so you can decide what you want to go back to later.

A great way to explore the sites in Barcelona (especially if you're just beginning your trip). We managed to cover a lot of the city and was a nice balance of cycling and stopping to look at the attractions. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Water was provided which we weren't expecting which was a nice touch! Would definitely recommend.

Just finished a wonderful cycle tour with our amazing guide, Bou. If you are in Barcelona you must do this! In 3 hours we saw the whole city; from the famous Guadi House to the port; from La Sagarada Familia to the beach and plenty of stops in between including the gothic quarter, parks and squares and sites of historical interest. Bou was a very friendly, informative guide giving us detailed and insightful information and answering all our questions! Thank-you Bou!

Katrina our guide was so considerate, she kept an eye on us at all times. Katrina shared her knowledge, passion and recommendations for the city. We were the only ones on the tour which led to a very personalised informative morning. Thank you for a great time, will definitely recommend to friends and family. This was the only tour we did, it was great value for the price and gave us an insight into Barcelona history.

For a start the bikes were very worn. Lacking proper gear and bell coverings. Brakes not all working on each bike properly. A couple of our bikes had only two gears. It’s like the good ones are on display but they bring out the old worn bikes for the tours. Description mentions helmets provided, didn’t even see one. Felt very unorganized and almost like we had to ensure we were all still together as group.
Our tour guide was lovely, however it was very hard to hear him as he spoke softly. We set off with a group of 8. By the time we reached the second stop we’d lost two of the others. Luckily they found us after about 10 minutes.
Ordinary experience, would not do this again.

My family and I really enjoyed our bike tour of Barcelona! Catarina did an amazing job navigating around the city in a kid-friendly way and showing us the highlights. She explained things well for my boys and was happy to stop for a beach break! It was wonderful!

Hello!
I do not work for Barce Ciclo Tour, however I note that they appear to offer tours at 11AM, 4:30PM and 7:30PM. Do pick up the 2 for 1 coupon that should be in your hotels lobby as was at mine. Also request "Aga" as your guide! You'll be happy with her!
Kind regards,
Otto Werlin
