Small-Group Barcelona Tapas Tour with a Local
From US$82.92
Overview
Barcelona’s tourist trails don’t always give the best insight into typical Spanish dining. Enjoy a true tapas experience with a local guide, who leads you to bodegas off the beaten track for a taste of authentic Barcelona. Wander through El Raval and Poble Sec, enjoying 4 complimentary wines or aperitifs along the way. Benefit from the small group size to receive personalized recommendations for the rest of your trip.
What to Expect

Begin your tour at a central location in Barcelona. Meet your local guide and small group, then head to a nearby terrace bar off the beaten track, deciding between botifarra and salmorejo for your first sample of traditional tapas.

When you’re finished, wander on through the quieter streets, soon arriving at another bodega. Sample its cured meats and cheeses, and choose between a glass of red or white wine. Then, continue on a ‘vermuteria’, and savor a typical Spanish omelette, along with a glass of vermouth or tinto de verano, a simpler version of the sangria.

As you stroll to your next stop in the neighboring Poble Sec, immerse yourself in its lively, authentic atmosphere, away from the tourist trails. Arrive to your last stop, and select a Basque pintxo to enjoy with a final class of cava. Finish your tour by the nearby Parallel Street metro station.
