Our guide Xavier was very personable and is a font of knowledge when it comes to Catalan history. The trip to Montserrat was very nice but it was unstructured by the tour company and we had 2 hrs on our own. Given the cost, would have expected the guide be with us for much of the time. The Parc Güell was great and Sagrada De Familia was visited from the outside only by our group.

A great way to see Barcelona when you have a limited amount of time. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and we felt the we saw everything we wanted to see.

Just returned from an excellent cruise and disembarked in Barcelona @ 8.15 am our flight out of Barcelona wasn't until 21.00 therefore I was looking for an enjoyable way to spend our last day. I booked a city tour with SPAIN DAY TOURS and it was the best ever Barcelona guided tour I've ever taken. (I've visited the city a few times). We were met at disembarkation by a lovely friendly tour guide and our two rather heavy pieces of luggage was loaded into the hold of a comfortable minibus by our driver and it was safely there throughout the tour as the driver stayed with the coach. We had a couple of pickups at another cruise ship and then the small group of us set off on a guided tour of Montserrat and Barcelona City. I cannot fault this tour, We learned so much more about the city and Montserrat than I had previously. Our guide was faultless, kept us together and her knowledge boundless. Communication and booking before the tour was easy, I was confident before we took the tour that we had booked with a reputable company and this was proved to be the case. We were a bit early for our flight but that wasn't a problem, we had time to change and organise our cases for the flight home and have dinner and a drink at the airport. We booked a tour through Barcelona Day Tours for a half day, communication was excellent throughout, our guide was waiting at the port for us on time, he was excellent, we saw so much and of course he gave us the history of all the places we visited, we had plenty of time at all the stops to see what we wanted, we did not feel rushed at all, this tour also included tickets to Parc which was fabulous (this is optional and an extra 9 Euros but worth every penny), we had an hour there then the guide was waiting for us when we came out, we saw all the major sights and at the end of the tour we asked about going for Tapas, so the guide (I am very sorry I cannot remember your name) took us to a lovely restaurant which we would never have found on our own, great Tapas and very reasonable, all in all a great morning, thank you Barcelona Day Tours we not hesitate to recommend you :-)

Wonderful excursion for my group of 7! Van was large, clean, air conditioned and the driver was great. Our tour guide, Marta, was so warm and friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about Spain, Barcelona, Catalán culture and really, every aspect of our tour in Figuerés and Girona. We learned about Dalí at the Dalí Museum; we learned the history of Girona and visited the Jewish Museum which was unlike any other museum we’d ever been in. Marta was the perfect tour guide - not only was she incredibly knowledgeable but she seemed to really enjoy the topics and sharing her knowledge. Truly a memorable day and a highlight light of a fantastic trip to Spain. Easy to put together with Aurelio’s assistance. Great communication. Highly recommend!

We were picked up at our hotel and had a pleasurable day with our driver / guide Hugo. We could not have asked for a nicer, kinder, more informative guide. Hugo gave us background on the city as we were headed to Montserrat. He answered all of our questions about the area, the culture and was simply a wonderful conversationalist. He dropped us off for the tour of Montserrat and provided us with a meeting time and place. Montserrat Monastery, its long history and beautiful surroundings was well worth the visit. We had a brief lunch then it was on to ArtCava winery. Santi was very gracious and helped us understand the challenges and processes of a small winery. We were then delivered back to our hotel. Before and after our tour, Barcelona Day Tours professionals were prompt and thorough with their information and follow-up. Our Barcelona Day Tour experience convinced us that a private tour company of this caliber is the best way to experience a new destination.

We had a group of 8 to do this tour and it was informative, fun, and I felt very safe in a city that we did not know. We opted to do the skip. The line tour for the sagreta familia church. We set up a private tour for the day and extended it two hours so that we could go into Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. Our guide Joah was extremely flexible, very knowledgeable and a whole lot of fun! We didn’t feel hurried at all. It was the perfect pace for the mid 50’s crowd! My friend and I went on a four-hour trip from the train station to our hotel in August with João. It was fantastic trip and our best tour during our 7-day trip to Spain. Booked the monster at and cava vineyard trip with post pick up and hotel drop off. This was an excellent tour with a friendly and informative guide. Pick up time was as arranged. Could not recommend this tour and company enough. If you book you will not be disappointed

We booked 3 tours with Barcelona Day Tours upon the recommendation of friends who had used their services. Favio took us on a shared city tour and a private winery tour on 2 separate days. He went out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. Christian took us to Girona and Costa Brava for full day private tour. His knowledge of the area we visited enriched our experience. The coastline is very spectacular. Girona has medieval architecture with a walled old quarter that we found very interesting. These tours were recommendation of Barcelona Day Tours which we enjoyed very much . It is apparent that this is a customer oriented company with the goal to please their clients.

Loved our tour! Our tour group was the perfect size group of people, Christine was super knowledgeable and helpful throughout the day and we got to see so much of Barcelona (without suffering too much in the heat!). Would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to book a tour :)
