- Torontasha0 contributionsExcellentWe had a great time with Naiara. She was knowledgeable about the history of Madrid and passionate about Spanish food. She took us to several authentic spots and the food was excellent. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Madrid.Written 13 May 2024
- stevenpL6658WH0 contributionsTops in Tapas!!Great tour full of unique and helpful insights into Madrid as well aa some great food and drink. Our guide, Naiara was outstanding - simply a pleasure to spend time with. Must do if you are a first time visitor to Madrid, or simply want to learn more about this great city.Written 19 March 2024
- joonseongk20240 contributionsAmazing experienceNaiara was an amazing guide with great energy. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and the local food. The places she took us offered local delicacies and drinks. We would not have been able to experience such a wide range of tapas and drink if not her as tourists. Definitely recommending this tour. She even sent us a list of recommended places to go afterward.Written 2 February 2024
- bsruedy0 contributionsDine With the LocalsTouring the Gothic quarter was a highlight of our visit to Barcelona. Loved walking through the medieval streets and learning about the Roman settlement and walled city. The highlight of the tour was the lunch we had at the Can Culleretes restaurant which is the oldest in Barcelona and still owned by the same family. The 3-course lunch was amazing and we loved dining among the locals for a leisurely lunch and having a great conversation with our guide. The coastal boat tour was beautiful. Depending on the weather, you may encounter waves and could be an issue if you are seasick. I would definitely recommend sitting on the top level of the boat.Written 26 November 2023
- Q131ZDkevins0 contributionsSpecial Tour- Not to miss!!!This tour was so special. NAIARA took us to several hidden gems of Madrid that we would not have seen on our own. We tasted several tapas in several locations. She had a great knowledge of the city history as well. She was so pleasant and you could tell loved what she did. I think this is a great way to really immerse yourself in Madrid’s culture! Highly recommend. Beth and Kevin Skinner, Nov 23Written 8 November 2023

- Spotspot220 contributionsHistory and heaps of foodNaiara was fantastic. We were given interesting history along our tour. The food provided was delicious and ample. We were shown a great tip for eating mushrooms and will try at home. We were never rushed and encouraged to ask as many questions as we wanted to and could take as many photos as we liked. Couldnt recommend. More highly. Many thanks Naiara for a great tourWritten 20 September 2023
- Sanaz S0 contributionsGreat experienceAdrian was great. He was knowledgeable and knew so much about the history of the places we visited. So happy we took this tour on our first day. So many good information that was shared with us. Thanks again!Written 21 March 2023
- Norman F0 contributionsTake This Tour 1stAdrian took us on a great tour that we wish we would've done FIRST THING. Unfortunately, our schedules and tour availability didn't align and we ended up taking it on our last full day in Barcelona. But, that was ok because he showed all sorts of nooks and crannies we hadn't seen yet and places to eat we hadn't been to. He provided us with a list of recommendations for our next visit. And, we loved how he incorporated history of the city which we had not heard before despite having 3 other tours. He also pointed us to a great museum which we enjoyed later that day. Adrian seemed to know everyone and every hidden gem. Take the tour....and take it early in your visit!Written 26 July 2022
- Z8086IUkurts0 contributionsSips, tapas and history!!Adrian was an host as we walked from tapas to drinks to desserts to churches to kings steps! I highly recommended this if you like food neighborhood walking tours!!Written 11 October 2019
- Kimberly H0 contributionsMust do activityOur family of 6 had a fabulous time with Adrian. He was fun, energetic and full of fun knowledge about Barcelona. We had food and drinks at 4 local spots, which were all very different and interesting. People were very nice and friendly. We brought our 3 year old along and Adrian was very accommodating. I wouldn't bring multiple children on this tour, simply because you are in very small (typical Barcelona) restaurants, but one kid was fine. Highly recommend.Written 25 October 2018
- nicole V0 contributionsGreat timeI really enjoyed the food tour! Adrian is fun, and knows some great local spots. He is full of fun facts about the city and it’s history. The group of people were amazing and we made fast friends!Written 24 August 2018
- WildHorizons0 contributionsA must do in BarcelonaAdrian is a great friendly guy with an extensive knowledge of Barcelona and wonderful local eating spots! Each stop provides you with a delicious variety of local food and drink. We finished the tour feeling like we had really got to know Barcelona!Written 10 July 2018
- Carlos d0 contributionsWow what a great discovery! My wife and I had been to Barcelona before, we enjoyed the beaches, the historic sites, and just the sheer beauty of the place. We thought we had experienced it all, that was until we discovered 'Eye On Food Tours'. We opted for the 4.5 hour tour and what an experience that was. Our guide Adrian walked us around various parts of the city stopping to taste the vast array of Spanish and Catalonian cuisine and drinks along the way. He explained each exquisite dish as we indulged in the culinary delights one-by-one. The Spanish cuisine inspired by local ingredients paired with wine from nearby vineyards was an experience everyone should try when in Barcelona. All I can say is Wow! 'Eye On Food Tours' in Barcelona is a hidden GEM everyone should book a tour with — you'll never see Spain the same again, and your taste buds will thank you!Written 31 May 2018

My daughter had this tour scheduled for months. It was confirmed in March then less than a week before the owner messaged her to tell her that he was going out of town and that we needed to reschedule. Our itinerary doesn’t allow us to do the tour on any other day and when she told him that, he told her to cancel the tour instead of cancelling it from the company’s end. Trip advisor’s rules and regulations specifically state “if the owner needs to cancel your booking, they should do so themselves via our platform.” Very unprofessional, and regardless of how good the tour is, I wouldn’t recommend this company to anybody based on his business practices.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening exploring different Barcelona neighborhoods and cuisines on this tour. Our guide Marina did a fantastic job coordinating the outing for our multi-generational group of 9 from four countries. She curated a series of authentic Catalan food and drink experiences that were truly off the beaten path. Marina also shared the history of Barcelona as we walked through the Barceloneta, Born and Gothic districts of the city. A memorable outing and a great introduction to Barcelona!

This tour is fantastic for new-to-Barcelona visitors and returners alike. Adrian has a pulse on the city and took us to a wide variety of local gems with amazing food and generous drinks. He’s really knowledgeable about the history of the city, and we learned a lot of new things even though we had all spent time here before. Highly recommend!

Had an awesome afternoon. Generous offering at each restaurant and our guide Marina was outstanding and made the afternoon fun and informative. A good thing to do when you first arrive in Barcelona to get great restaurant and bar recommendations from a local and have a great afternoon at the same time.

4 hour trip around districts of Barcelona. Friendly guide and in the most part interesting.
Some pleasant food and drink stops thrown in the mix too.
On a personal note, we were expecting or hoping for a few more stops experiencing local cuisine rather than being teased by Adrian about specific shops we passed being the "best of" or "you should try this" which is what we had hoped the tour would give us!
Nevertheless I would recommend doing it.

I booked this for my first night in Barcelona as I thought this would be a great introduction to the city. Met up with fellow travellers from across the world, we had plenty of delicious food to eat and plenty to drink whilst learning about the history and culture of 3 areas of Barcelona. Adrian is a great host. He has lived here for many years a d took us to the places he5 been going to since even before he moved there. This experience was enjoyable and well worth it

I booked this tapas tour because I am a foodie and because I was visiting Barcelona on my own and thought it would be a great way to spend an evening. It was!! We went to places l would never have visited on my own and got a lot of yummy tapas, all explained to me. Very entertaining and tasty and perfect with the stroll around the old neighborhood where Adrian told snippets of the history to make it extra interesting. I walked in the same area the next day and it made such a difference in my perception of the whole thing as I was finally able to find my way around in those narrow little streets. I would highly recommend taking this tour. I am already familiar with Spanish food but I still got new info and more importantly it was a super cozy way to spend an evening and it really felt like you were out with friends, showing you around in their neighborhood and sharing all the treasures. Go for it!

I booked this for me and my 21 yo son for the 1st night of our 4 day visit to Barcelona as I thought we'd be tired from travelling and would need an easy and fun evening. We met the group at 5 and were thoroughly entertained by our host, Adrian. He knew the city inside out and was a real foodie. No shortage of delicious food on this tour, the patatas bravas were historic! We were a bit worried there were *too many* alcoholic drinks scheduled but over 3 hours of eating and walking it was just right. Highly recommended.

Marina was our wonderful host for this Tapas and Wine tour. It was a group of 8.....6 USA students on a high school graduation trip and a senior age couple ( us). It worked out wonderfully, as Marina bridged the generation gap and we could not have asked for better companions!! All 4 restaurants were local places with the BEST food and drinks! Even with my vegan diet, I was easily accommodated. Easily walkable between locations. Highly recommend!
