€399.00 for a 4 km taxi ride in Barcelona City SCAMMED by BLACK & YELLOW BCN Taxi Driver. 28th October 2024 3:45-4:00 am Hailed a cab from Shoko nightclub to HelloBCN Hostel. (about 4km early morning) Driver only spoke to me in Spanish, waved the card payment machine at me, did not give me the receipt. Charged me €399.00 I never realized until i checked my banking a couple of days later. TAXI BCN "026433 155" was the identification on the transaction in my banking statement. I submitted an online complaint to "The Metropolitan institute for Barcelona Taxis", but as of now have not heard anything back. Expected Taxi Prices You can find the current Barcelona taxi rates and surcharges displayed on a yellow sticker in the rear passenger window of all the official taxis in Barcelona. In general, a short 10-minute ride within the city centre should cost around €10. T1 & T2 – Barcelona city centre Base Fare: €2.30 Rate per km (day 08:00-22:00, weekdays): €1.21 Rate per km (night 20:00-08:00, Sundays and public holidays): €1.45 Waiting time per hour: €23.40 Additional charges Extra charges apply to road tolls, travelling on New Year’s or Christmas after 20:00 (surcharge of €3.10), and for taking a taxi from the ranks (€2.10). A supplemental charge of €4.30 is added to journeys to and from Barcelona Airport and Barcelona Cruise Port, and a €2.50 charge applies for rides from Barcelona Sants Railway Station as well as an added fee of €4.30 for 5-8 passenger vehicles.

The driver was at the designated spot when we arrived. The weather was rainy so we were shuttled to a different location for the water taxi. The water taxi was supposed to take us to the hotel but said they couldn’t for some reason. As a result, we were dropped off at St. Mark’s with no directions to our hotel. Lugging baggage in the rain and dark and not knowing where to go was stressful. Not worth the money we spent.

I booked a transfer from Milan to Bellagio months in advance and on my way to the airport to leave the US, I received a cancellation from them. I was able to get a refund but needless to say, it left me scrambling the morning prior to my arrival to find another transfer. I tried reaching out to them but never received a response. Avoid this company, not dependable.

Such a poor service. We had a private transfer booked to pick us up from our hotel back to Palma airport for 7pm on the 8th October. Stood waiting for 20 minutes so contacted them on the number given. Got told they had no recollection of a booking for that time !!!. Then got told that our booking was for 3.20pm. So when I asked if the driver had turned up at the hotel and she couldn't tell me. If I had booked it for that time I would have been waiting. But no one contacted me at that time. We had to pay another 80 euros to get to the airport so we didn't miss our flight. We complained and tries to get a refund which was rejected. So we are now appealing and sseking official legal advice as they have taken our money and not provided the service for either of the times. We have all the confirmation details to.

Be warned using the yellow AMB Taxis at the Barcelona cruise terminal. As they monopolise the harbour we were unable to get a Bolt taxi that we used previously. We travelled from the cruise terminal, which is 2.5 miles away from Port Vell, approx 11 minutes, according to Google maps. After correcting the driver that we were going to Port Vell and not the airport, which apparently is a charge of €45 according to the meter, we were charged €20 despite the meter saying €7.45 and €4.50 which I think was a surcharge. As Spanish is not our first language we weren't in a position to argue. Afterwards I was so angry at blindly being robbed I wish we had challenged him.

Amazing experience and got to be the best way to arrive in Venice. We landed early evening, so were able to see the Canal in the daylight and then after sunset

We booked this service for transport from TFS to our hotel in downtown Santa Cruz. Communication was excellent since our plane was significantly delayed. We were assured that they were aware of the delays. The driver was waiting for us just outside the arrivals hall. We especially appreciated the professionalism of the driver, the short walk to the van and the cool temperatures inside since it was extremely warm that afternoon. Would definitely recommend this service if you want a reliable and professional source of transportation in Tenerife.

Great communication and easy to use service. We were a family group of 3 adults needing an early morning transfer from a private residence outside of central Barcelona. It was easy to book online. The price was the same as the taxi we took from the airport at the beginning of our trip. We received a reminder the night before by text and email and again an hour before pick up, including the phone number of our taxi driver. He phoned us when he was on his way. The driver was charming and took us on the fastest route, avoiding a traffic jam. We highly recommend using this service for private transfer to or from El Prat Airport.

Fast, efficient, classy and what a way to arrive at the hotel. Short two minute transfer by vehicle to the dock and then straight to your boat. Fast transfer from airport to the dock of our hotel across the lagoon and via the side canals was great. Tip; driver of the taxi that takes you the short distance to the dock may wait inside or outside of the arrivals area.

Here is my experience from the 4th of May ordering a bolt cab from Sitges to Barcelona Airport. The driver turns up at the wrong place and says he is here. Doesn't tell me where he is. The first scam. We are expected to find him within a ten minute time space. If we don't he drives off and pockets our fee. We drag ourselves through a crowded train station, down the underpass with our luggage (I'm a 65 year old...not to be recommended) We find him just in time. He says his phone took him to the wrong place...yeh sure. Scam two. He tells us we have to pay an 8 euro toll for the motorway to Barcelona Airport (it was included in the quoted fee.) Regarding his car....filthy, him...filthy. He was yawning all the way to the airport, half asleep...shouldn't have been driving in my opinion. Got to the airport and had no idea of where to go. Stressful situation from beginning to end. Complained to Bolt and the best they would do was give me a credit for 11 euros. I will be wiping my bolt app of my phone and I recommend you NOT use this company. Interesting to note on Trust Pilot the same scams have been used by other drives according to the experiences of people writing reviews there.

Transfer from Girona Airport to Central Girona We used B&C transfers to drive 7 of us from Girona Airport to Hotel Peninsular in Central Girona. Prompt polite helpful driver clean comfortable minibus reasonable cost.Easy to commicate with the company by email TONI BELTRÁN was very helpful

Flight was cancelled but still charged for the entire taxi transfer booking. customer service was unhelpful. I would never personally use ever again.

We booked a private transfer from the cruise port to the city centre but the taxi never arrived. We had to pay for another taxi from a taxi rank. When We complained to Viator they said that the driver claimed “you did not show up” and refused a refund. However, we were at the agreed pick-up on the pier 30 minutes early and waited until 25 minutes after the pickup time. The pickup was at the single exit from the ship and we were told not to walk away from that point. We adhered to that absolutely. The driver apparently claimed that we did not answer his calls and messages but none was received and we were unable to contact the emergency help number. The attitude of Viator has been high-handed and disappointing to say the least. It seems that if the driver says we did not show up then we must be dishonest - someone certainly is but it is not us! Viator then refused to communicate further - hmm!

We arrived at the airport and was greeted by a very nice young lady who took us to the boat dock. The driver showed us and her a crude map to our hotel. As this was the first day of our trip, we were not sure what to expect. The young lady was speaking to him in Italian and did not sound pleased. She tried to explain the map. The driver dropped us off in the rain at the dock. We wandered through the alleyways for over 20 minutes in the rain, until we contacted the hotel who guided us to their door. We looked at the reservation and learned that we were supposed to be escorted to our hotel, not left at the dock. I have been trying, unsuccessfully to deal with Viator, first through our travel agent and then through our credit card company. When I call about the issue, I am told that Viator will contact me by email. It has been months, I continue to contact them but I have not received these emails. Viator did contact our credit card company, referenced a trip in Florence and denied any compensation. They had the correct booking number and our complaint but did not get the trip correct.
