- ristina7110 contributions• Great Experience with Kadek"Kadek was an excellent guide for our jeep tour. He explained the history and culture of the area in detail, which made the trip even more special. The views of the sunrise were magical. A must-do in Bali!"Written 23 December 2024

- theelliotts4930 contributionsPerfect trip as we came into Vigo on a cruise shipExtremely well organised trip from start to finish. Before we had even arrived in Spain we were sent a WhatsApp message including all the meeting point information. This tour was perfect for us as we came into Vigo on a cruise ship. I would highly recommend as pick up and drop off is at the port and guarantees you back before the ship sails. Saved us getting our own transportation as Santiago de Compostela is about an hours drive away. Maria our guide was excellent given lots of information along the way. We also had some free time. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.Written 2 December 2024
- family4MI0 contributionsNice outing beyond VigoWe enjoyed this tour. We had about 40 on the tour. Our tour guide, Maria, was easy to understand. The big bus was clean and driven expertly by Gustavo. Upon departing the ship, we were directed by port officials to exit right and wait across the street for private tours. We were told 8:30 - 9:00 am pickup. The bus pulled in exactly at 8:30 am and parked where the cruises ship tour buses were located opposite of where they directed us. Nevertheless, short distance between the two spots and orange umbrella easy to see. Most people arrived at 8:30, with stragglers arriving just before 9. Maria provided us with interesting information as we drove the hour to Santiago and then again about the main buildings in the square. Another guide met us in Santiago to take around half the group. When walking, we were provided headphones to hear the guide. After the commentary on the main buildings of the square, we were given 1 1/2 hours to ourselves. Suggest guide might enter the cathedral and provide some insight as to what we were seeing there before separating. We walked into the cathedral which is free unsure with what we'd find. Beautiful! Around the back of the gold center of the cathedral is a line to enter walkway down and around to hug St James. So happy to have discovered this experience inside the church. Upon exiting the church, we walked around the town. It was soon 1:00 pm, the time to meet the guide. The tour bus was comfortable, the guide personable and the area safe to walk around. Public restrooms were available exiting the bus and down some stairs near cathedral. The guide suggested several restaurants which turned out to be closed on Mondays. We wish the tour had been an hour longer to have time to both eat lunch and walk around. The tour is 6 hours from 8:30 am first pickup time to about 2:30 pm drop-off. Suggest adding half hour at end if time permits to drive around Vigo. Note: though we booked this tour on Trip Advisor with limited reviews, it appears to be part of same tour sold on Viator with many good reviews. We recommend this tour.Written 2 December 2024
- pauleF9470DM0 contributionsSuperbAn excellent visit with an exceptional tour guide. The option to visit the Portico was very well worth it with the fuide pointing out the relevant features before viewing in silence.Written 20 November 2024
- ricb9120 contributionsLots of history in 2 hours. Fascinating.Overall a great tour and a wonderful and knowledgeable guide! Only reason 4 stars not 5 stars was a confusing start. I waited at the meeting place but no one there. I got a message 15 mins late to meet a person with an orange umbrella at a different location in the square. It would be good if you add the umbrella comment to the ticket so we know beforehand how to find your guides. Thanks and mucho gracias.Written 19 November 2024

- Curiouslysmitten0 contributionsBest Cathedral Tour Ever!An excellent tour of the highlights of Santiago de Compostela portico, museum, and cathedral with our witty and knowledgeable guide, Mireia. We visited on November 1st, All Saints Day, and were fortunate to hear amazing singing in the cathedral while looking at the Pórtico de la Gloria. Mireia had carefully explained the symbolism of the pórtico to us, so we could clearly know what to look for, and what everything meant. This was followed by an extremely interesting and well narrated tour of the museum and finally the cathedral highlights. Cannot thank you enough Mireia for this wonderful opportunity to learn so much about the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. So sorry we had mo euros left to demonstrate our appreciation.Written 1 November 2024

Three or four stops for pics, food, or bathroom. Guides were helpful and had a good command of the English language. Nice day to cap off the Camino for me.Written 8 October 2024

Fabulous and informative. Maralea(even she said her name is hard to pronounce😆) was amazing with a deep understanding of the history of Santiago and the cathedral. This tour was well worth the money to get an explanation of all the important sites in the city.

A wonderful tour of the old town and the cathedral. Maria was very informative, pleasant, and answered all our questions. It’s the best way to really appreciate the history and meaning of Santiago De Compostela. Absolutely reccomend this.
The tour was broken into three pieces with about 20 minutes between. Great if you need to sit, go to bathroom, or grab a quick coffee. Very easy pace.

Everything perfect, it was a very pleasant morning thanks to our guide Veronica.
The stories and explanations led us to understand the entire fabric that existed before during and after in the history of the saint both personal and historical, as well as the construction of the cathedral in its 4 phases.
Pleasure and recommend to our hostess VERONICA.
Greetings.

This is the most moving experience a person of any religious beleieve will have in their lifetime. Other than it was a rainy and very cold day, the pilgrimage to this place was extraordinary and worthwhile. The city has made a concerted effort of keeping this gem intact. Highly Recommended!

We took the train from Vigo to Santiago and met the Orange Umbrella at the Plaza. Super EASY..
The tour guide was knowledgeable and very easy to understand.
I am a history buff wannabee and she knew her subject.
It was a freezing humid day with temperatures ranging in the low 30's and still we will do it again.
Highly recommended.

A really good tour, felt like we got a good history overview of Santiago's old town, Maria was a wonderful guide and we were able to see all the highlights with really great background I don't think we would have otherwise known. Not too much walking or stairs either, very relaxed pace without being slow paced.
