Dont book here. We waited from 1:30-2:30 for someone to show to give us the tour and no one did. We went to the office a few time to check and there was just a sign saying “I’m on the boat call xxx if you need me” I called all the numbers and the phones are disconnected. Its a shame because I have have a tour with these guys before. Go with the yellow boats and book when you arrive in Gibraltar.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your review here on Tripadvisor, it is greatly appreciate, it sounds like your sailing the other day was on the extra long sailing as the dolphins were a bit harder to find, so we greatly appreciate your review. We're all delighted that you enjoyed meeting the dolphins of Gibraltar and do hope to see you again one day aboard the blue Dolphin Safari boat. Fiona

Amazing experience seeing the dolphins. Only took about 15 minutes to see dolphins and saw some very up-close ones on a couple of occasions. Really liked the fact that there was only about 6 other people on the boat so it did feel very intimate. Also, handily it is next to a supermarket which stocks Tesco products so you can pick some things up to picnic on the boat.

The only negative was that the sound produced by the captain when he was trying to describe the dolphins was a bit muffled so a little hard to hear.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a review here on Tripadvisor, we really do appreciate it, and also for mentioning that we never carry many on any sailing. We do apologise for the quality of the sound system, the old one went down last week and we are struggling with a temporary one until the new one is fitted. Your feedback is really helpful because I can let the crew know that people can't really hear and to make sure to go round and make sure everyone has all the information about the dolphins. From all the team here at Dolphin Safari, and the Gibraltar dolphins, a big thank you for choosing to sail on the blue boat. Fiona

An absolutely brilliant trip. We saw lots of dolphins and 3 different types including a big bottle nose dolphin.
We sat at he front of the boat and saw one dolphin jump completely out of the water and then land on it’s back. AMAZING

I wasn't sure which boat to choose, Blue or Yellow? Trust me that going for Blue was a great decision. During my trip we had 7 people altogether, instead of more than 20 which we could see on the Yellow one. Because of that we manage to take a nice pictures as we were able to move freely on the boat. Very nice and knowledgable staff. More than happy with experience, definitely worth few extra £

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience here in Tripadvisor, and for explaining the difference between the two companies and reasons for choosing to sail with us. As you say we only ever carry a few people on each sailing, max 25, as opposed to 119 on the yellow boats of a similar size, so we really appreciate you mentioning it. We are all delighted that you enjoyed meeting the wild dolphins of Gibraltar and do hope to see you again one day, and a big thank you from all the team here for choosing the blues. Fiona

my friend booked a private charter on your boat for my 50th Birthday, defiantly the way to do it .
What an amazing time we had ,the staff went out of there way to make it a great trip ,seeing the yellow boat sail past us with a boat packed to the rafters only confirmed we had made the right decision to go “BLUE” even more so when they appeared to miss the large pod of dolphins our boat had spotted.
Fiona in the office was so lovely getting us glasses and an ice bucket so we could enjoy drinks on board.
From start to finish this trip was fantastic with friendly knowledgeable staff ,who made my special birthday trip one I will remember for a long time .

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to give us a review of your birthday sailing, and happy birthday. It was a pleasure to have you all onboard and we're all delighted that you enjoyed meeting the dolphins in an uncrowded sailing. And a big thank you for mentioning the glasses, we do keep them in reserve in case of people wanting to take drinks onboard for such celebrations. From all the team here at Dolphin Safari, and the dolphins of Gibraltar, a big thank you for choosing to sail on the blue boat and we do hope to see you again one day. Fiona

We were so glad we chose the blue boat. We left on time and had plenty of space in which to enjoy the pods of dolphins all around. The crew were lovely. We had a really interesting experience. The young lad travelling with another family was able to ask loads of questions which were all answered which was great to see too.

This was such a lovely experience! The tour itself lasted about an hour 15. The crew and staff were really friendly, all had great attitudes and customer service. One of the younger crew members (Ben I think his name was) was very chatty and made us feel comfortable before boarding the boat.

The crew were also very considerate of my partner who had a broken foot at the time of our visit so he was in a boot and they helped him get on and off the boat.

After leaving the docks, we saw loads of dolphins on multiple occasions. We also saw wild Tuna jumping out of the water and even a turtle! This was our last day in Gibraltar so we are glad we found something relaxing and fun to do!

The boat itself was very spacious, there was probably around 8 other people on our tour and we had a whole bench to ourselves still. The captain would talk over the intercom telling you where to look to see what.

I would definitely recommend this trip to anybody looking for something fun but also relaxing to do :)

Wow, thank you so much for your lovely review, it is so great to hear that you enjoyed meeting the dolphins and had a great time. I know the crew and especially Ben will be so pleased to read the review and so will the dolphins. Also a big thank you for mentioning that we never carry many on the sailings, as opposed to other operators who carry up to 119 on boats of the same size. It is always nice to have space to move around and get the best views of the dolphins. From all the team here at Dolphin Safari, and the dolphins of Gibraltar, a very big thank you for choosing to sail on the blue boat. Fiona

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a review here on TA, it is greatly appreciated, as is your feedback re the drinks onboard. The sign outside the office is 11 years old and we used to sell drinks onboard, but they were very expensive and impossible to keep cold with a very limited selection. But luckily a new Tesco's has opened up right next door to us which we recommend to everyone checking in to buy some drinks to take onboard. We are all delighted that you enjoyed meeting the dolphins and do hope to see you again in the future, and a very big thank you for choosing to sail onboard the blue boat with The Original Dolphin Safari. This was by far the best such trip we have ever taken. Very friendly staff and we saw a huge group of dolphins that kept with us for most of the journey- jumping, swimming and altogether having fun. Incredible experience and incredible photos. Do not think twice about booking. Oh, and there were only 8 of us on the whole boat!!!
