Madrid hosts many significant landmarks, but ticking them all off when traveling the sprawling metropolis by foot can be a challenge. Hop on board a bicycle and tour the city by two wheels, still getting an intimate experience of popular attractions, such as Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace, while also covering greater distance than by walking. Pause regularly to learn more about the city’s heritage from your guide.
What to Expect
Meet your guide at a central Madrid location, strap on your helmet, and mount your bicycle. When booking, decide whether you prefer a classic city bike or one with electric assistance. When ready, set off, following your guide at a leisurely pace to landmarks, such as the Retiro Park, Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and Puerta del Sol. Pause to hear your guide’s insights into these notable locations and snap pictures of these historical highlights.
Halfway through the tour, stop for a short rest and take the opportunity to pose any questions you have for your guide. Then, continue on your journey, before concluding at your original departure point.

The bikes are suitable for all sizes and the seat can be adjusted accordingly. I suppose you could ask for a specific guide, we just went with the one we were given & he was very good, you’d probably have to ask in advance... More

You meet at the Rent and Roll bike place near Retiro Park - if you look at the Trip Advisor activity there is a place to click on Rent & Roll and the address comes up - seems to be Calie de Felipe IV 10 (but check).
