Our guided tour of Sevilla, Córdoba and Granada was perfectly planned by our guide, Jamilah. From our first contact when I emailed her with questions, she was immediately responsive and offered a plan for our 5 day trip that allowed my husband and I to see the sights of al andulus at our pace and in the comfort of private transportation. She took us to the major sights but she also made sure to bring us to many local places to understand a bit about the life of the cities we visited. I am so grateful to her for making our dream a reality. My husband has some difficulties with walking and she made sure to slow the pace, offer lots of perfectly timed rest stops and arrange for our driver to come as close as possible to the entrances. I loved our experience from start to finish and we owe everything to Jamilah and to Safar Salama tours.

We did a day trip tour to Cordoba from Sevilla on our own. However I wanted a guide who can bring us around Cordoba and get a little bit of the Islam history in Cordoba. Most of the communication was done via whatsapp, so that was very easy. Our initial arrangement was for 3-3.5hrs, however Jamilah was with us longer that that. She brought us around Mezquita and also walkwd around the old city as well as the roman bridge. We were suppose to go to Az Zahara but because it was raining we had to cancel that plan. The walk itself wasn't very hard, we did a few stops for churros and at a morrocan tea place next to the mosque. Before she left, Jamilah showed us where to can have our late lunch. Overall i was very satisfied with the service provided by Jamilah.

Jamillah gave us a tour of the Alhambra palace and was truly amazing! She was so accommodating and even offered to pick us up from our hotel. She gave us tidbits of information at each place with a little history of Islam. She even stayed extra to show us a few things that were not a part of her tour plan. She allowed us to stay at each place as much as we wanted to take pictures and even offered to take pics for us. She was such a sweetheart and gave us amazing food recommendations and best places to shop. When you get a tour with Jamillah, it’s not just a tour, it’s a whole experience with her. She was truly an exceptional tour guide. My husband and I definitely plan to book her when we visit Spain in the future again.

Ms Jamilah booked accommodations that we were happy with and arranged all the logistics for us prior to our trip within the short time frame that we gave her. We had a very friendly and accommodating tour guide who accompanied us throughout our trip. Mr Hernan Cortes made our stay in Spain & Lisbon much better and we wished still that we could have stayed there longer and explore more of Spain.

Safar Salama was a pleasure to deal with. They planned my entire tour for me, booked the hotels and the visits to the tourist sites which needed tickets or pre booking. Jamilah was easy to work with and efficient and easy to communicate with. The highlight was our tour guide Enrique. He was extremely warm, friendly and accommodating to all our needs. He is a wealth of knowledge and explained everything perfectly. He also drove us around so well and has the system well worked out for parking, touring, restaurants etc I would highly recommend this tour

We, a group of 4 girl friends only have 4 full days to have a good highlight visit in Andalucian region. Our travel planner, Jamila from Safar Salam has made it possible for us. She had planned beautifully so that our journey can cover the highlights of andalucia. We had great time to visit Malaga city, Ronda, Seville, Cordoba and Granada. Jamila is flexible, understanding and most of all helpful and made our journey safe, easy and we enjoyed the whole trip. We are thankful that we met Jamila. After we finished our trip in Andalucia, we travelled to Madrid before departing to airport. Jamila has made sure that we were safe. She arranged transport for us from Granada to Madrid by train. And arrange taxi from the train station to the hotel in Madrid. And the next day, arranged transportation from the hotel to the airport. Thank you Jamila, Safar Salama.

The tour guides were friendly and great expert knowledge about their history ,region, and city. They were flexible and approachable and arranged a value add tour. They were even able to arrange Friday prayers and Eid Prayers for us. We spend the most time with Eric who took us through southern Spain. He was well versed into the Muslim contributions in Spain. An area of improvement would be the halal restaurants that were recommended. All of them were serving alcohol. We tend to usually avoid halal restaurants that were serving alcohol. For next time I would encourage the Safar Salama yo work recommend those Halal restaurants that don't serve alcohol. All the logistics in terms of hotel, taxi ,pickups, car rental, and, reservations to tourists attractions were handled perfectly by Safar Salama. Overall Safar Salama are genuinely friendly and flexible than other tour operators. I would recommend them again.

I am delighted to express my gratitude and appreciation for Safar Salama Tours team especially sister Jamila who made my dream materialized in exploring Andalusia and obtain the islamic history in Andalusia. She has been helpful and flexible and understanding my difficulty and challenges to take this trip. We booked our trip from the website, and Jamilah were helpful, informative and very efficient. All our queries were fully answered, and any questions dealt with. Our trip was well organised, and we had a really splendid experience. Our guide consistently showed a high level of expertise, and looked after us well. We have just completed a 7 day tour of Malaga, Granada, Seville and Cordoba. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and had a very knowledgeable and efficient guide Enrique who enlightened us on the great Islamic influence in Spain and Europe. The hotels were very good and well located, the itinerary was well planned and the communication from Jamilah was excellent. Safar salama included a tour of the very interesting science museum in Granada for our children aged 8 and 5 (which was not included) and a tour of the Islamic history museum in Córdoba which was fascinating. The guide looked for halal restaurants and mosques and was very good to the children.
