This amazing tapas tour in the most historical part of Madrid, which will give you a new perspective of the city from an old point of view. Madrid contains two sides - the one you see as a tourist and the another one you need a local person to show you. We’d like to invite you to enjoy the experience of tapas as locals do. You can reveal hidden spots in the very heart of Madrid, each of which has something special to offer. Go to a bar, enjoy your wine and your free tapas, order something extra to eat if it catches your fancy and, once you’ve finished, move on to the next venue. It´s as simple as that! This is a truly unforgettable experience of wines and tapas. Make yourself ready to taste a fantastic parade of dishes and wines from various regions of Spain. By the end of the evening you will have discovered the history of the origin of the dishes. Some are rooted several hundred years ago, as old as the streets you will stroll along.

Mont Serrât Monastery, half day trip.
We had a great half day trip with Liana who picked us up at our Barcelona Hotel. The drive’s geography was jaw droppingly gorgeous. We learned about the Benedictine history and its current presence. We also had a dive into the recurrent symbolism and themes that cascade down through the varied cultural & religious histories of humanity. We hope to come back to this beautiful place.

      Good views
We did this on a clear sunny day and were able to have great views over Barcelona. We could clearly see Sagrada Familia and the other tall buildings and layout of the city. We joined the queue at the bottom of the ramp but the queue moved really fast. We had pre bought tickets online but there was not a separate queue for this, everyone queued together. The cable cars were clean, spacious and had top opening windows that gave a bit of a breeze. At the top there wear lovely views towards the port and beach areas. We could see lots of cruise ships docked. The only disappointment was that there was no cafe or toilet facilities anywhere. Nowhere to buy a drink or ice cream We didn’t pay extra to go into the castle which was an extra €12 each so unsure what is available there. There was only a vending machine for drinks in the queuing area. We bought the round trip but you can walk both up and down to the castle. There is a garden area all the way up to the top with good paths.

      Fantastic views of the city
You can have a one way trip and walk down the mountain or have a round trip. There is a stop half way and a castle at the top where there are fantastic views of the city and the sea. It’s an extra charge at the top to enter the castle, but there is no need as the views are 360. I recommend you get a prepaid ticket via the internet as is cheaper than the gate price.

I loved the trip, the sightseeing and the Mel and mato. Amazing place and people. Make it a part of your itinerary. Booking the trip with trip advisor was convenient.

Very enjoyable high in the mountains
Great to be a group of only 8. Driver/guide needed a mic in the van because the 3 people at the back couldn’t hear his commentary when in the car. Fine without a mic when in Montserrat and he was very knowledgeable. Don’t expect to hear the choir on a half day tour, at the moment they sing at 1pm. Very enjoyable tour.

      Great view, well priced
We took a return cable car to the castle. There were minimal queues on 1st Sep which was a pleasant surprise. Basically bought our ticket and we were on in 5 mins from arrival. Got a gondola to ourselves and the views were spectacular over the city of Barcelona. 15 euros return for adults

      Spectacular
This was one of our favorite trips in Barcelona. Just spectacular. The tour guide was an hour late to pick us up from the hotel but he sincerely explained the reason.

      Great day trip
This tour was amazing. Girona and Pal were breathtaking with amazing history. Costa Brava is one of the most beautiful beaches in the region and in a picturesque fishing village with great restaurants. The beaches were clean and clear with no pesky vendors. Mateus (Matt) was such a great guide. Very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Five stars. Highly recommend. I loved that we were only eight of total. Great vibe.

      Disappointed
For the size of the venue it's a very small area dedicated to the exhibition. It's being promoted heavily with no mention that it's under construction and 20 minutes gets you through.

Cannot believe I booked through trip advisor and it was terrible.
Booked trip weeks ago No vouchers available 24 hours in advance Mailed help to Viator who came back 'made contact with tour operator and will be in touch' No response and then received a message that the guide was in hospital so not available. Then a phone number to call Vist Barce direct..no answer Then looked for a time to meet the contact, no answer back and this is on the day of the trip booked. Spoke to hotel who had tickets and all sorted. Looked for a refund and within minutes a refund was confirmed. The museum cost 28.00 each and all remember..there is no stadium access.
