This tour was excellent. Our tour director was Roberto, and we can’t say enough good things about him. He was professional and very informative. We were two couples visiting the area together. We were picked up promptly in an immaculate Mercedes van and driven on the coast drive to the far end to start the tour. We were taken to a beautiful (and delicious!) local spot for lunch. Altogether the day was delightful.

We did a lot of research prior to our trip to ensure a safe journey from Naples to Positano at a reasonable price. We came across this company and right from the start felt reassured we had chosen the right place. Paulo was waiting for us promptly with our name displayed and was so kind and friendly. Along the way, he enlightened us with history and a wealth of knowledge of the surrounding area and answered any questions we had. He made the whole trip super comfortable and drove safely. The whole experience was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide/driver, Robert, was completely fluent in English and was obviously passionate about his job - giving us so much history and information along the way about the locations we visited, while keeping his cool in what I would describe as "challenging" driving conditions due to the the heavy traffic. Roberto was so cordial and congenial. And he went above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely keep his name (and the company's) contact information in the hope we return soon during less busy (and hot) time of year. Additionally, I believe it's a great way to see the area and at a very reasonable price. And finally, the whole booking process easy and smooth.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. Paolo, was perfect for our family. Very informative, kind and kept us safe. By taking this tour we were able to avoid the crowded streets and jam packed busses. Five stars! We had 3 different drivers during our 10 day visit to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. All were professional and friendly and expert drivers navigating the winding roads. All spoke perfect English too. But Paolo was far and away the friendliest and most accommodating. He even helped us at the airport to try and get answers about our lost luggage. And Margherita couldn’t have been more helpful when I was working out my itinerary. Cars were clean, comfortable and air-conditioned! A welcome relief after a hot day sightseeing! A++++ and highly recommend this company for your private transfer needs.

Our daughter was married in Sorrento on June 1, 2024. We used and recommended that our guests use Amalfi Coast Destination (ACD) for all transfers between Naples and Sorrento and also to and from Rome for the wedding. After, we travelled with a group of our friends to Puglia. ACD also provided transportation there for 8 of us. In addition, Margherita and the team was exceptional in helping coordinate and arrange pre-event custom tours that we offered to our guests. Our guests raved about their experiences. My daughter and I also used ACD during our April 2024 visit. They were just as exceptional! During the wedding weekend ACD handled multiple transports with ease and were so flexible with unexpected delays, late evening pick-ups and last minute changes and arrangements. The cars were clean, in excellent condition and the drivers were extremely professional and friendly! They even put us in touch with a local company in Puglia for our needs there! Such a great decision to book with Amalfi Coast Destination Tours Company. Our travel guide/driver was Roberto, born and raised in Amalfi. He picked us up at our hotel in Sorrento and we had the most wonderful day with him. His knowledge of the area was exceptional, and his insight into his world of growing up there made it such an unforgettable experience. Learning about the Amalfi Coast from a true local was really something. We learned so much and saw parts of the Coast that most people wouldn't. Roberto brought us to a gorgeous restaurant for lunch with views to die for, not to mention the food was spectacular. Best part was that this little gem of a town was serene and away from the busy tourist routes. Finding a quiet place on Amalfi Coast this time of year is pretty impossible, so we considered ourselves quite lucky. Highly recommend this tour! Paolo was our driver for full day trip to Amalfi Coast. He was knowledgeable and flexible in adjusting itinerary to suite our group requirements for exploration, shopping and nice lunch break at a restaurant with view of valley.
