We had an amazing experience with Esposito Car Service during our trip to the Sorrento area. We were picked up from the Naples airport by Antonella. Antonella is so friendly and such a happy person to be around. Her knowledge of the area and patience with our first-timer questions really made us feel welcome. Later in the week we had the pleasure of meeting Filippo during our tour of the Amalfi Coast. He has such knowledge of the history of the area and of Italy in general. He welcomed our questions and offered many opportunities for sightseeing and pictures. We were lucky enough to share in his company during a lunch in Ravello, which truly was a highlight of the trip. Esposito Car Service really is the whole package - friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and a true pleasure to spend time with. Will do business with them again when we return and will recommend them to anyone who asks.

We used Esposito Car Service for transfer from Naples to Positano as well as for a tour of Pompeii and a tour of the Amalfi Coast. Valerio, Antonella, and Filippo were all excellent. They all have a great command of English, and they are all very friendly. Antonella was an excellent tour guide in Pompeii, and has an incredible knowledge of the history of the area. I want to give particular praise to Valerio though - he was an extremely prompt driver who picked us on time and got us everywhere we needed to go in a timely manner. He also provided us with wonderful recommendations for restaurants, photo locations, local wines, places to see, etc. He also helped us navigate the train station in Naples to ensure that we got on the correct train. Valerio truly helped make our time in the Amalfi Coast wonderful. Thank you, Valerio! We plan on returning to the area someday soon, and we will certainly be using Esposito Car Service again.

Due to an injury we required a car service from our hotel in Naples to Rome Fiumicino Airport. Filippo Esposito was an excellent driver. He has a good command of English which is very helpful if you do not speak Italian. He pointed out some places of interest along the route but did not talk all the time and let us just enjoy the scenery. We would recommend Filippo to anyone looking for reliable transportation. He was also familiar with Rome airport and advised us on how to walk to the airport hotel.

This our fourth time with the service, and we always have had the pleasure of the services of the owner's daughter Antonella. She is such a joy to be around. Fun, friendly, reliable, a total winner as a driver,guide, and friend. Never use any other service in the Naples/Sorrento area, and always ask for Antonella. You won't be disappointed.

I contacted Fillpo months ago upon recommendation and could not have been happier! He was professional and prompt via email, even confirming a few days before. We used his services to pick us up at the Naples train station and drive us to Positano, stopping in Pompeii along the way. Our driver Valerio was excellent - he had a sign waiting for us on our train platform so we didn’t have to look far for him. He was wonderful and full of great knowledge of the area. We had arranged through Fillipo a tour of Pompeii while Valerio waited in the car with our things. The tour guide through Fillipo/Valerio was excellent and we enjoyed our time with her. Valerio got us safely to positano shortly after, stopping along the way for scenic photos and for lemon ice (our now favorite snack!). We would highly recommend their services, especially our transport to Positano with a stop in Pompeii! Thank you Fillipo and Valerio!!!

I highly recommend Esposito Car Service! Communication was great with Filippo through-out the months prior to our trip. Filippo always quickly answered my many questions. The cars we traveled in were immaculate. From the beginning we were treated as friends, not strangers. Filippo and his daughter Antonella helped to make our trip everything we had hoped for. First, we were picked up in Naples train station by Antonella who took us to Pompeii on our way to our Sorrento hotel. The next day, the main reason for our trip, we spent the day with Filippo on a trip to Colliano where my husband's and son's ancestors were from. I, being the family genealogist, had hoped to show my husband and son where their Italian ancestry started. Filippo, with a friends help, had copies of original records documenting much needed information. We toured the beautiful Colliano and Collianello where we were able to walk the streets of my husband's ancestors. Beautiful! On top of that, we were taken to dine at a local restaurant with the best local dishes. We shared this time with Fillipo and Raffaele. What a priceless experience! This was our favorite part of our wonderful Italian trip. Our last day in the area we were driven by Filippo along the Amalfi coast, then back to Naples for our train. We were so glad we hired Filippo's car service as he helped to make us feel a part of the area, instead of outsiders visiting. This review is long overdue, as our trip was in May 2017, for which I apologize to Filippo! Again, thank you so much!

This is the second time that we have used Esposito Car Service. There is no need to ever rent a car when Giuseppi is availabe to take you virtually anywhere you want to go, especially on the Sorrento Penisula.

This is a belated review from April 2016....The company was recommended to me by family who has used Filippo for many years and many trips. He picked up (promptly) my husband and I and two friends from Naples and then drove us to Sorrento. We had previously arranged a visit to both Pompei and Herculaneum through him over email, including a tour guide at the former (highly recommended). He then took us a to a great lunch spot on the water when we said we wanted seafood, and recommended a certain type of local wine. The restaurant was very good. We enjoyed spending time with him, and we never felt rushed. I sat in front since I get car sick and we talked to entire ride, and he gave us lots of info and history of the regions. The car was very clean and comfortable. This is not a cheap option, and I think we paid like $600 or something, so be prepared. I think you could take the train to Sorrento, but would not have the option of seeing the sites and having lunch along the way, all at your own schedule.

My partner and I were on a 30-day Transatlantic/Mediterranean cruise which included the port of Naples, Italy. One of our wishes was to take a tour of the Amalfi coast while visiting that port, but the ship's excursion was far too expensive, so we let the idea go. However, we met some great Australian tourists on our ship who spontaneously invited us to join them on a private tour of the Amalfi coast AND Pompeii that they had pre-arranged. And so we met Filippo Esposito and enjoyed one of the best days of our Mediterranean adventure. We rode in the luxury of his Mercedes SUV with only 4 others and delighted to not only his expert navigation of Italian roads and drivers, but to his excellent knowledge of the history of the whole area. We benefited from his familiarity with a great little restaurant to get the local pizza on the way to Sorrento and then leisurely explored that quaint town on foot. We had also stopped at a few other beautiful coastline overlooks. And then Filippo had arranged for our tour of Pompeii with our wonderful guide, Antonela. What a wonder that excavated city was to explore with such a delightful, knowledgeable person. Filippo was as concerned as we were about getting us back to our ship on time, and did so perfectly. We cannot sing his praises more highly. He was not only professional and knowledgeable, but most personable with great good humor. The cost was half what we would have paid through our cruise line and the greatest was that we were 2 tourists of 6 rather than 2 of about 80, being herded on and off buses. Our time was maximized and much more enjoyable, we're sure, having gone with Filippo. We would recommend him and his service with great enthusiasm!!!

We used Esposito Car Service for the whole week we were on the Amalfi Coast and we can't say enough about how professional they were! Paolo was our driver to several locations and he was amazing! Punctual, kind, informative and a great driver. He made our trip memorable and gave great insights into the Italian way of life, history and recommendations for places to visit and eat. And man we were glad it was him driving on the narrow and crazy coastline and not us! Plus, when my husband accidentally left his phone in the car they got right back to us and returned it immediately. I feel so lucky to have found Esposito Car Service and Paolo and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for drivers on the Amalfi Coast!

Not much time to write but remembered my fantastic experience last year with Esposito. It was our second time with them. Great all the way. I highly recommend them and plan to connect with them next year when we return to Italy.

Filippo Esposito is the man you want to talk to if you want to see the Amalfi Coast and all of the most important sights around this region of Italy... He and his (family-owned and run) company have very comfortable Mercedes vehicles (sedans & mini-vans) to accommodate you and your travelling companions. Filippo and his people are very safe drivers and also very knowledgeable about the area (including the history of the area). Not only did they show-up when they said they were going to - but, they also arrange for private tours of the local attractions (example: the ruins of Pompeii) and provide a narrative along the way. We are very glad that we hired Filippo to chauffer us around the Amalfi Coast Region (including: Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Sorrento, Pompeii, Paestum, Herculaneum, Caserta, and the city of Naples). He made our trip both comfortable and enjoyable - and we got to see ALL of the most important sights which we had wanted to see in the region. If you're wanting to go and see the Amalfi Coast - Filippo Esposito is the man to talk to - He Rocks !! p.s. Please TRUST ME when I tell you that you don't want to try and drive a rental car in this area yourself. The roads are narrow and winding - there are always HUGE busses coming the other way and thousands of crazy motor-scooters & motor cycles buzzing around you in every imaginable direction (and nobody seems to follow any of the traffic rules and regulations) Driving "by yourself" would be a NIGHTMARE and you should NOT even consider it..

I contacted Filippo via email based on a recommendation from a friend. We arranged all our transfers and tours over email couple of months prior to our trip with another couple to the Amalfi coast. Filippo and the other drivers were amazing. We were greeted us at the airport with a smile and were transferred to Positano with a short tour on the way. All our escorted tours in the week that we stayed in Positano were very informative in a very comfortable Mercedes car. Filippo took us to the Amalfi coast, Pompeii and Naples and arranged fantastic private tour of Pompeii. On our final day, we were collected from our hotel and this time we visited Naples. During our tours Filippo was giving us great information, he is a wonderful driver and a guide with great history knowledge. I highly recommend him and the company.

My three sisters and I spent two weeks in the Sorrento area and our stay was made PERFECT with the help and hospitality of Filippo the owner of Esposito Car Service!

I contacted Filippo via Tripadvisor to enquiry about transfer services for our family trip to the Naples area and he was quick to reply which always makes life easier! Straightaway I knew that I wanted to book with him and arranged for him to collect us from Naples train station on Day 1 and transfer us to our hotel (we are a family of 5). Fillippo was there when we arrived with a smile on his face to greet us and we were escorted to his pristine and very comfortable mercedes car. The next day he pick us up from the hotel and took us to Pompeii where he had arranged a wonderful private guide for 3 hours at this amazing site, he then drove us to a restaurant for lunch and this was followed by a hike up Mount Vesuvius. On our final day, we were again collected from our hotel and this time we visited Sorrento and Naples with a stop at a great (and off the tourist trail!!) restaurant which he had recommended. All the time, Fillippo was giving us great information, he is a wonderful driver guide! My daughter became ill and he drove us to a pharmacist too. I really cannot recommend him and the company highly enough and will be encouraging all my friends to travel with him if in the area!
