A fantastic communicator, Roberto responded immediately to my email to coordinate this tour, offered suggestions for logistics, checked in the day before to set up a meeting place, and arrived early to pick us up from our ship. I could not imagine a better service while visiting Sorrento and the Amalfi coast, then Sorrento Car Tours company. Dealing with Roberto via email from the US was very easy. His communication was excellent. His service started by sending an amazing driver, Lello, to pick my wife and I up at the train station in Naples. Lello met us in the station and assisted us with our bags to a beautiful Mercedes sedan. From there, on our way to Sorrento, we stopped at.Herculaneum, for a private tour of the archaeology site. This entire excursion was coordinated for us by Roberto in advance, including arranging the tour guide to meet us there on our way from Naples to Sorrento. The service was so good, that we arranged for Sorrento Car Tours to take us to Positano for a daytime excursion, as well as transfer us back to Rome from Sorrento. Lello took us to some wonderful places, making great recommendations along the way. Working with Roberto and Lello and Sorrento Car Tours was nothing short of perfect. Great adventure in a very clean and comfortable vehicle with an excellent driver with great knowledge and VIP drop off to many areas making the journey easier and the flexibility of activity was welcomed Especially if you are limited in mobility. We used this private car service from Naples airport to the Hilton in Sorrento. We were met with our names on a sign after we cleared customs. The driver was very pleasant and told us about the area on drive to Sorrento. It took about an hour. The car was clean, driver professional and had water in the car for us. Everything worked as it should. Roberto was very prompt and responsive to my emails when booking the reservation. I would use them again when in the area. They had the best price that I found.

After a few hours of touring, eating and shopping Roberto took us to the pier and he made sure that we had our ferry tickets to Capri and back. (good thing because the return ferry was completely sold out) What could have been a disappointing day, turned into one of the best days of our trip! I would highly recommend using Sorrento Car Tours if you are wanting an amazing experience! Roberto is the owner and happened to be our driver for the full day of our excursion from the cruise ship. He is professional, caring and an expert driver and guide. Roberto sent a text the morning of our tour that he was already at the pier waiting for us. He drove us from Naples to Positano, then on to Sorrento. Roberto even arranged a beautiful Italian seaside lunch for us at an amazing restaurant. Sorrento Car Tours was one of the best decisions we made on our trip! I found them while searching on Reddit and reached out to Roberto. We had a fantastic service both with Roberto and Claudio, picking us up in Naples, dropping off at Pompeii for our tour. Roberto called our guide for usto make sure of meeting place...he was so helpful. Claudio then took us for a full day tour, he was very informative, and patient, traffic heavy... It was a great day. Our driver, Roberto, was excellent. He was super comminicative, knowledgeable, safe, kind, attentive, and humorous. We felt completely comfortable in the vehicle and confident in his driving skills on the very exciting Amalfi coast drive! Sorrento Car Tours is worth every penny!! There is no way I would have attempted to drive that road myself. Please leave the driving to a professional who understands the road and its safe navigation.
