I was visiting Italy with 2 friends starting with 3 days in Rome. We were looking for a private driver to take us to Montepertuso for a 7 night stay. I requested a quote from Sorrento Tour Service and within the hour, Paolo contacted me with a quote. So we hired him and we are so glad we did. He was waiting for us at 10:00 at our apartment in Rome and drove us to Montepertuso. What a wonderful trip it was. He pointed out points of interest along the way. He was very friendly. It was like riding with an old friend!!! We liked him so much, we contacted him to take us back to a hotel by the airport in Rome. Unsure about spending the money for a private tour? I promise you, it is absolutely worth it! We were based in Sorrento and planned to head to Positano and Amalfi on our own. However, after researching how we were going to achieve this, we realized it was going to be complicated and not the best use of our vacation time. Too many logistics. Thankfully, we hit the jackpot when hired Paolo to transfer us from Naples to Sorrento. He provided us with possible options for a tour of the Amalfi Coast. We were sold. Our day with Paolo was one of my favorite days the 2 weeks I spent in Italy. He was incredibly informative, very warm and is an expert at navigating the challenging drive required to tour the coast. Not to mention, he has the patience of a saint! He is an absolute delight. He makes you feel like you're part of the family, as if you (and your family) have known each other for years. Trust me, you will adore him. "You had me at hello..." absolutely applies.

Totally recommended! We booked Paolo for the day, and he gave us the absolutely perfect tour of the fantastic Amalfi coast. He took us to all the best spots, from short photo stops, to full on exploration breaks. The Amalfi coast has to be seen, and I can't imagine a better way to see it in all its scenic perfection that in the comfort and luxury of being driven around it by someone who knows it inside out, and can get you to the very best bits, and educate you all about it! Great service; great guy!

We were just for a day in Naples (as we were making a cruise on board the NCL Epic) and we booked a tour with Paolo. It was really a great discovery of the region. He was on time waiting for us and from 8am to 5pm, we had time to visit Erculanum, Sorrento (at lunchtime) and Pompei. And we were on time on the ship in the late afternoon. That was really perfect. Paolo wants you to enjoy his region, gives much information and is very nice with children too! So, I advise you to book a tour with Paolo!

Paolo was an amazing driver and tour guide. Weaving his way down the Amalfi coast, he was able to point out all the sights and find vistas where we could take pictures. We stopped in Positano, Ravello, and of course in Amalfi. We had lunch on a terrace overlooking the coast in a small walled town. After a full day of driving, he was still able to give us a short of Sorrento where we were staying overnight.

100 characters just isn't enough. We ended our Euro trip In Italy where we had the pleasure of meeting Paolo. From the first hello At the airport when we arrived he was great. A few pointers. Always on time (key when every minute counts) Extremely knowledgeable about his land and area Very good and skilled driver (on those crazy roads!) Clean and comfortable car Very nice and genuine guy Never says no! He'll take you anywhere and tell you all about it Affordable and works with you Will only use him when we go back! Use him!!!

Paulo was an exceptional host and his bilingual skills enhanced our tour experience. Paulo also had remembered our desire to return (after 4 days) to tour the church in Pompei when we initially ran out of time due to traffic. He made extra time and returned there for us on the way to the train station.That was the above & beyond experience we had that sets him apart! He also added historical commentary to the breath-taking views on what we were seeing and was very gracious to allow picture-taking opportunities. I highly his service to anyone.

Paulo answered every email right away. He is very kind, attentive and solicitous We wanted a customized trip from the Napoli train station to our hotel in Sorrento. Paulo helped us plan a trip that included a ride up Mount Vesuvius. He waited patiently while we walked to the top. Then we were treated to a wine tasting lunch at Sorrentino Winery. Our last stop was at Pompeii where Paulo had arranged a private tour for us. We were running about an hour late and Paulo still took the time to show us wonderful views. We highly recommend using this service again and again!

Pompeii the beautiful and historic city of the Roman Empire, still so significant for the conservation of the many well-preserved signs, a heritage not to be missed.

Always felt safe when out in the coaches, even though the Italians are mad drivers. Those Vespa bikes just creep up on you, just when you think it's safe to cross the road the next second there be Vespa beside you. The tour guides are very informative and very proud of where they come from. Thank you Italy for a wonderful holiday will be back soon.
