Full day tour of Capri from Sorrento
Set sail for the idyllic Italian island of Capri on this full-day tour, including round-trip jetfoil transfers from Naples or Sorrento. Travel around the island by minibus, taking in the views along the famous Mamma Mia Road. Stop to browse the handicraft stores of Anacapri, stroll the Augustus Gardens and soak up the atmosphere in buzzing La Piazzetta. Top it off with a visit to the Blue Grotto and a funicular ride to Marina Grande.
What to Expect
Your tour starts by meeting your guide at the port in Naples or Sorrento for the boat ride to Capri by jetfoil. Arrive in Marina Grande, the main port of the island, where you can admire the view of sailing vessels moored at the pier.

A visit to the Blue Grotto is possible if the weather permits, but if the cave is closed, you can take a group boat ride around the island to see other caves.

To explore the island, hop aboard a minibus with your guide, who takes you along scenic routes including the Mamma Mia Road to Anacapri for spectacular views. Take some time to discover the picturesque village of Anacapri, with its narrow streets and typical small squares. This spot was the favorite place of Swedish doctor Axel Munthe, who fell in love with the ruins of an ancient chapel and built Villa San Michele. Then head to the main town of Capri and La Piazzetta, the center of life on the island. Sit and relax in the sun, or wander the streets marked by hotels, restaurants, and open-air cafes.

Next up are the Augustus Gardens. Originally known as the Krupp Gardens, these botanical gardens were established by German industrial Friedrich Alfred Krupp. From here, look down upon the legendary Faraglioni limestone rocks, one of Capri’s best-known landmarks. At this point, you will have free time to explore.

Finally, return to Marina Grande port for one last trip in a jetfoil back to Naples or Sorrento. During the tour, your guide will also give you suggestions on how and where to sample local specialties.
The tour lasts 8 hours total.

Great tour, great team!

We loved this part of our holiday. We took the jetfoil to Capri from Naples, minibus transfer to the Blue Grotto - there was a bit of a queue in the hot sun but in amazing surroundings so all good! The grotto itself was beautiful...More

beautiful but tbh best bit was the sea and the chair lift.

We did this independently - got to the island and went to the tourist place and hired a boat and skipper to take us around the coast of Capri - did not do the famous Blue Grotto as there was a TWO hour queue and...More

Excellent day out

I was a bit apprehensive as to where we’d meet our guide off the ship but that was unfounded as it is easy to find the ticket office. Marcella was waiting for us with the rest of our group of 20. The queue for the...More

Our guide Anna Maria was wonderful! she had a lot of knowledge about the island. Definitely recommend talking the lift up to anacapri. The blue grotto was closed due to choppy water, but the tour around the island and to the white and green grottos...More

It’s included. If I was to go again I’d rather do the boat trip that is offered if the cave isn’t accessible.
