We have just had our 3rd visit to the Manor at Sway. Once again we were well looked after catering for all our needs by friendly staff in a cosy environment. Set in beautiful surroundings you couldn't ask for more.

I booked this tour because I wanted my children (aged 11 and 14) to get an appreciation and understanding of Pompeii but didn’t want to spend hours wandering around, not really know what we were looking at and them getting bored. We got the most amazing experience with Linda. She spoke perfect English, was funny, engaging and gave us really great little tidbits of information that we never would have got using the audio tour. She guided us effortlessly around all the most important parts, ushering us to the shade where possible and waited patiently for us to get all our photos. Linda is passionate about Pompeii and it really shows. Thanks for giving us such a great experience!

My adult son and I had a 2 hour tour of Pompeii with Linda on the recommendation of a friend. We were so glad we did. Communication leading up to the tour was prompt and very helpful as we were unfamiliar with the trains coming down from Naples. Linda is so knowledgeable and friendly, great English and we just really enjoyed her company and her extensive archaeological knowledge. Highly recommend!

Our family - 7 people including 2 kids (7 & 9) - wanted a private, guided tour of Pompeii and luckily for us we chose Linda! She was terrific! !Very knowledgeable & great with the kids! Pompeii is huge & she expertly guided us around - it became quickly apparent that seeing Pompeii with an experienced guide was the way to go. Linda clearly loves her work. The kids asked a lot of questions & she was great with them (& us) . She knows her stuff. She has a relaxed manner & was fun to be with. We were very happy to have a private guide (vs being herded around as part of a large group). Would we choose her again as a guide-absolutely!!!

I booked a guided tour of Pompeii as suggested and was not disappointed. There are many companies available to book with, but i used 'Get your guide' as i used them preciously for a tour in Rome. Was contacted thr night before with full details of meeting place. They were also available on 'chat for questions. Picked up on time and taken directly to Pompeii where we were met by our guide. Rather than have a guide shouting information to is, we were provided with ear pieces through which we could hear all the facts relayed by her. She was very knowledgeable and answered any questions. Next was lunch which was pizza and then on to Mount Vesuvius. This is an easy climb and plenty of time was allocated. Overall, great trip but it is a full day as the journey time from Sorrento is approx 1.5 hrs

Quite a short tour of one half of Pompeii. Excellently organised and guided. Pompeii is very busy but there was room for everyone to see the highlights. If you want more time and to see it all book a full day trip. Be prepared for rough paving and very hot temperatures.

Wonderful tour of Pompei with my 11 year old son. Linda was super knowledgable and had a really nice way of explaining things. We’ll be back !

When we were planning a trip to Italy, we knew Pompeii was a must-see and set about finding a tour for it. We browsed through so many options that made our eyes cross but what made us decide on Linda was that it was a personal and professional tour at a competitive rate. You had the freedom to decide on the time, content, and there was no need to jostle around others to hear your guide more clearly. Pre trip communication was Linda was quick and smooth. We were already happy with our decision, but were absolutely delighted when we met up in person to begin the tour. Pompeii is a massive site and Linda helped us navigate through it, dishing out interesting facts and stories at each turn. Linda is clearly an expert in this field and we walked away at the end emboldened with knowledge. We also had a couple of minutes to ourselves (despite the crowd) at each point of interest to take some pictures and soak in the historical view. Without a doubt, we recommend Linda for a worthy, memorable experience. We'd definitely consider Linda again if we return and would be more than happy to take up any other tours if she expands her services. Thanks again, Linda. Our cat says hi ;)

I normally don’t write long reviews . Tour with Linda was a memorable experience. We did a few guided tours while in Italy and we had the best experience in Pompei thanks to Linda . If you really want to know the history and truly understand Pompeii don’t look any further , Linda will connect you through WhatsApp or the message in trip advisor , meet you at the gate on time , we buy the tickets and she will take you around . Just to say , if my mom wanted a tour I would book Linda for her .

Lynda was amazing and helped us with details we’d never have known otherwise - great pace, comprehensive and sweet to my son.

Linda was the perfect guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable, HIGHLY recommend her. Don’t be cheap if visiting Pompeii - get yourself a personal guide, well worth it.

My wife, myself and my 2 children (15 & 11) had a great visit with Linda. She even helped us get the entry tickets in a few minutes. Linda was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable and had a real love for the history of Pompeii. She kept us engaged and mixed asking what we thought the buildings and objects told us, with sharing her extensive knowledge of the every day life of the Pompeii citizens. Highly recommended.

It was amazing! I loved that the tour guide gave out ear pieces so that we could hear what they were saying. Next time, I will bring a little wet wipe to make sure the ear pieces was cleaned between tours. September is the rainy season. We had occasional showers but it was nice weather because it was not blazing hot.

We had a wonderful time with Linda and learning all about Pompeii! Even through the rain we really enjoyed walking through the ruins. It was the perfect amount of time and we are so glad we had Linda showing us where to go. Pompeii is not meant to do on your own, you need a guide and I highly suggest getting Linda and getting a private tour from her. This is the BEST route to go! Linda is extremely knowledgeable tour guide and was quick to answer all our questions. Could not recommend her more!
